This is my full job and my husband works from home so we have the perfect set up to watch dogs! We make sure that the pups are given the attention, love, and exercise they deserve.

I have handled every type of dog with every type of behavior. I would ask that the owner informs me if the dog has a tendency to be aggressive just so I am aware. We no longer care for Pit-bulls. If you have a sweet pit-bull, we ask that you find a sitter who loves the breed so they get the absolute best situation for them. Thank you.

My days are go go go! I love spending my days making the dogs day happy and the owners day relaxed. I listen to the pup on how far or long they would like to walk and really try to play until they are tired. A tired dog is a happy dog! I also do training if requested.

What your beloved pup can expect while staying with us : ⁃ Daily “Pawgress” Reports ⁃ 5 walks a day. Including 2 extra long walks and 1 “sniff walk” around our nature trail. ⁃ Extra play sessions inside and outside ⁃ Enrichment/training sessions ⁃ Exit bath if requested ⁃ Picture and video throughout the day ⁃ Any special requests I have lived with animals my whole life. I dog sit quite often and thoroughly enjoy going on runs and playing fetch with the pups! I take dogs on runs and love to teach them tricks and manners. I have a large back yard that dogs love to play in and they love to go on adventures in our woods. A tired dog is a happy dog! Our neighborhood is very safe and friendly. I am very structured regarding feeding and take excellent care of animals that require special attention like medicine or pills. I am very punctual and reliable. I have been providing dog and cat sitting services for a long time and have enjoyed taking excellent care of our four-legged friends. Your fur baby is my priority. I spend my days making sure your pet is well taken care of, content, and happy!

I can always rest assured my dog is well taken care of when he is at Lydia’s. We receive many pictures throughout his stay. We get a tired happy dog home after his visits.
Lydia is THE BEST!! I have 2 dogs. My toy poodle is easy peasy. My other dog is an Aussie Shepard, brilliant, loving, kind, energetic, and high anxiety. I have NEVER used a dogsitting service before and was certainly concerned when I left them. Well, one of the worst things happened. My Aussie's anxiety was so bad, he was hemorrhaging. Lydia took her yo the ER and waited all night for answers. Then, she created a special diet for her and nursed her back to health. When I came to get the dogs, they were happy too see me, but also happy they were truly cared for well. I can never thank Lydia enough for being ther person who was there for my girl, when I could not. She truly is an angel!

We just left our two dogs and cat with Lydia for a 6-day trip, and she was absolutely incredible! Leaving pets for almost a week can be stressful, but Lydia kept us informed every step of the way. One of our dogs gets very anxious during bad weather, and she took amazing care of them and kept them feeling safe. She also takes the absolute best pictures of our fur babies! When we got back, everyone was happy, relaxed, and fresh, you wouldn't even know they had been away from home for so long. We are incredibly grateful for Lydia and cannot recommend her enough!
