About: I’ll admit it — I’m a relatively new member of the cat-obsessed club. Last year, we decided to foster kittens for the first time, and we quickly discovered that we are not very good at the whole “give them back” part. Two foster kittens later, we officially became cat parents. One of our kittens came to us as a medical foster when she was sick and needed some extra TLC. Caring for her through that experience taught me a lot about cats very quickly — from administering medications and monitoring how she was doing to learning that a tiny kitten can somehow take over an entire household. Watching her get healthy, come out of her shell, and eventually become part of our family was pretty special. Since then, I’ve learned that cats definitely have their own rules. Some will greet you at the door demanding attention, some want to play nonstop, and others need to conduct a thorough background check from underneath the bed before deciding whether you’re worthy. I’m perfectly happy with all three! I’ll let your cat set the pace and never force attention on a cat who would rather have some space. I’m comfortable administering medications, feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, playing with energetic cats and kittens, and, of course, providing plenty of scratches and cuddles when requested by management. I’m also a pediatric ICU nurse, so following detailed instructions, paying attention to small changes, and staying calm when something doesn’t seem quite right comes naturally to me. I know how much trust it takes to leave a pet in someone else’s care, and I take that responsibility seriously. You can also expect plenty of pictures and updates while you’re away. I’m the kind of pet owner who wants photographic evidence that everyone is alive, happy, and not plotting my demise while I’m gone — so I’ll happily provide the same reassurance for you. Before walks, I’ll make sure collars, harnesses, and leashes are secure, and I’ll never let a dog off leash unless specifically instructed in a safe, designated area. During drop-ins, I’ll be mindful of doors, gates, medications, food, and anything else that could pose a safety risk. I’ll also pay attention to your pet’s behavior and never force interaction if they seem nervous or uncomfortable. As a pediatric ICU nurse, safety, attention to detail, and noticing when something seems “off” are second nature to me. I’ll keep you updated during each visit and communicate right away if I notice anything concerning. My goal is for you to feel completely comfortable knowing both your pet and your home are being treated with care and respect while you’re away.
About: I have a genuine love for animals and I have been pet/house sitting for about 10 years. I have always had pets and been around all different kinds of animals. I just graduated from law school, I started my new job post law school. I do work in an office, but I am able to stop in and make sure your animal is taken care of. About: I have been caring for dogs since I can remember. I have been trusted with my neighbors dogs, coworkers dogs, and friends dogs. I have a dog of my own and love dogs to death. We would love to care for your furry family member at Serenity acres. Being a retired couple, we take care of our two dogs and our horse. We love being outdoors. Your pet will get a lot of attention and outside fun. Pets are taken out on a regular basis to explore our farm. We will keep them on leash at all times when they are not in a fenced area.
