“Joanna takes good care of my kitty. She sent us some pictures during our travel. Thanks to her, our travel was with no worries. This is the first time I hire a pet sitter through Rover, and I am pretty satisfied.”

About: What sets me apart from others sitters? Well I don’t always sit. I get up and move around making sure your favorite gets the exercise they need and deserve. It’s important to me that I give my clients value. While pet setting I can also help clean and organize for extra compensation. I want you to return to your home and pet satisfied and unburdened. I spend the time to build rapport with your pet so that they are happy and healthy. We can look at each other’s schedules and see if it works. If it does awesome!!! Yay for Us. If not we can figure something out. I even have some friends on this app that I can refer. I can accommodate your pet in just about anyway that you need. You just let me know of specifications and I can assist them. Within means that is.

About: I have had dogs all my life. I currently have two golden retrievers who run my world! One is 4 and the other is 8 months old. I am available to stay at your house overnight and during long periods of time. I am a full time ultrasound student in Louisville but my school schedule is very flexible so I can come home to let the pups out multiple times per day! I am currently a full-time sonography student in Louisville, but my class schedule is very flexible. I am also available all weekends. I am able to stay overnight and take your pups out multiple times per day. I have two golden retrievers of my own (they are cared for by my dad when I am gone so they would not be coming with me) and they are SPOILED rotten. I will make sure your pup is the same! I am very active and love going on walks so that would be a part of our daily activities.

We did an initial visit before the booking just to meet her and see how our cats reacted, they instantly took to her which was a relief. About: I live in a pet-friendly apartment complex with plenty of space outdoors, perfect for the frequent pit stop and play time. Just down the street from me is a beautiful dog park, with lots of space to run, play, and socialize with other dogs! I would be thrilled to provide a comfortable and safe environment for your loved ones, worry free for both you and them, while on vacation. I'm an animal lover and can promise you they'll receive lots of attention, play time, and affection, while you are off enjoying some time to yourself! My current schedule is flexible and allows me time for drop in visits, daily walks and overnight boarding for most of the day and evening. I know every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, so I tailor my care to each individual animal. In a client’s home, I follow their normal schedule as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, medications, potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide. I’m very attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, energy level, or anything else that seems out of the ordinary, and I’ll always communicate with you if I have any concerns. I’m also happy to send photos and updates so you can feel comfortable knowing how your pet is doing while you’re away. Most importantly, I want your pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their own environment. I treat every animal in my care with the same patience and attention I would want someone to give my own.

“Lydia came by for a visit before helping us our with our 1 year old, 100 lb puppy who had recently gone thru surgery. Mavericks had lots of energy and excitement for a puppy in a c-collar; But, Lydia was both willing and able to handle him and provide the breaks in the day he needed. We all look forward to having Lydia help us again in the future. Our puppy loved her visits and we loved the pictures she shared with us. Thanks Lydia!”

Absolutely loved having Ashlea care for our girl gang of kitties! 2 of our girls are newly adopted shelter kittens and very shy. They didn’t hesitate for one second to get close with Ashlea and I could tell they quickly looked forward to seeing her each day. She will definitely be my go-to for pet sitting from now on. Thankful for the great care she took of our pets and our home ☺️

Alex was an amazing sitter and was able to provide services last minute. My girls were very comfortable and appreciated meeting beforehand. Instructions were followed well and Alex reached out when further clarification was needed, which I very much appreciated.

Shaine took care of a feral cat that I have been caring for over the last eight years. Feral cats choose people not the other way around. It was obvious from how close this cat came to Shaine that she is good people. I would recommend Shaine for simple or complicated pet sitting needs.

Sierra did a wonderful job caring for our three Maine Coon cats. She was responsible, loving, and professional during her drop-in visits, and we felt completely at ease knowing our cats were in good hands. We would happily recommend her to anyone needing a reliable pet sitter.

There are not enough great things I can say about Zarayah! She made being away from my fur baby a lot less stressful. She went the extra mile sending pictures and videos, keeping me updated with how kitty was doing while I was gone. As a first time Rover user I really lucked out finding Zarayah when I needed a last-minute booking. She is very sweet and considerate, and I cannot recommend her enough!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Middletown. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
