About: I am a doctoral candidate in Biology at UofL, so you know I'm good at organization and scheduling! I think my time as a graduate student has sharpened my reasoning and communication skills as well. It's also increased my animal handling experience (mice)! I've had pets my whole life, mostly cats and dogs. My most recent pet is an elderly shi tzu with a surprising amount of energy! Apollo is a very skiddish cat, but we've definitely earned each others' trust. I can drop by to check on your pet, take them out for a walk (if weekday, must be before 10am or after 5pm, can be flexible), check on them periodically to feed them, or house sit (weekends only). I am a grad student, so I'm usually busy during weekdays 10am-5pm. Most of my work now is away from the bench, so I can be a little flexible about those hours Weekends are generally open! I love in an apartment that doesn't allow animals so I can't keep any here. I can however watch your furry friend at your house or take them on walks around the neighborhood!

“Jacob was great he’s was there for me for multiple days in a row and as always is super great with my dog and house . He worked around my crazy schedule I would recommend him highly . He’s”

“Taylor was amazing!! We were referred to her by a coworker and she was awesome! When she first came into our home, our cats immediately approached her and wanted her attention. She took lots of photos of our cats and gave written updates everyday about what the cats were up to. Our cats can be very rambunctious and Taylor played with them and kept them entertained. We are so grateful for her service! :)”

“Taylor felt like an angel to me this week! I have a dog with kidney stones that’s having trouble holding his bladder. She was so accommodating and my pups loved her! Highly recommend and will be using her again!”

“Ashlea has been letting our 2 puppies out in the middle of the day for the last few weeks and has been fantastic. She has been flexible when my schedule changes and is completely reliable. We very much appreciate how she treats our dogs and highly recommend her.”

“Kristen is always very professional and reliable. I have a 110 pound male pup who is unsure of most people when he first meets them. She knew just how to respond to him and now he loves her! My other pup is a fence jumper and she always makes sure she is on her cable. Kristen is quick to respond and always sends pictures and uses Rover Cards. She is extremely polite.”

“This was my first time using Rover, and Lauran made the entire experience so easy and stress-free. She kept me updated daily with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. She truly went above and beyond when any issues came up. I would absolutely book with her again!”

“Mary took great care of my cat, provided updates and photos, and even noticed that the toilet was running, let me know, and kindly assisted in turning off the water for me.”

“Absolutely went above and beyond caring for my fur babies. My family and I will definitely being using Janet whenever we go out a town again and again. Highly recommend!!”

“Allison was great! It was my first experience using Rover and I dont think it could've gone any better. One of my cats is shy, the other likes to fight strangers but they both quickly warmed up to her. She sent me fantastic photos after each visit which warmed up my heart and calmed my anxiety about my babies when I was away. I knew they were getting well-taken care of. I came back to them looking healthy and happy as ever! 10/10 Would book again.”

“Anne did a wonderful job of caring for our boys. She sent lots of pics, stayed in regular contact with us, and was extremely dependable. During an extreme heat wave, she asked us, then altered her visits so that boys could take walk during cooler hours. I would highly recommend her and will definitely be using her services again!”

“Eleanor always takes the best care of our cat while we are away! I always used to stress about who was taking care of him while I was gone and constantly worried about how he was doing. While she has been our pet sitter for the last couple vacations all my worries have been gone! She takes the best care of him and I could not recommend her more!”

Alex was an amazing sitter and was able to provide services last minute. My girls were very comfortable and appreciated meeting beforehand. Instructions were followed well and Alex reached out when further clarification was needed, which I very much appreciated.

There are not enough great things I can say about Zarayah! She made being away from my fur baby a lot less stressful. She went the extra mile sending pictures and videos, keeping me updated with how kitty was doing while I was gone. As a first time Rover user I really lucked out finding Zarayah when I needed a last-minute booking. She is very sweet and considerate, and I cannot recommend her enough!

Quintin did a great job watching our dog and cat over a 4 day period. The animals loved him and he was very compassionate and caring toward them. We have an older dog that requires medication and he did well providing that to her. He even came over 2 additional times to check on them one day. I would recommend him to watch dogs and cats. We will certainly be using him again!
