I have been helping take care of dogs since I was a kid. My family has always had a couple of dogs at any time so I have experience managing small dogs like yorkies, medium ones like beagles, even up to really large dogs like Great Danes. I also watched and cared for a close friend’s dog consistently for four years and she saw me as a second parent. I recently had a long hair domestic cat named Ellie that I raised since she was 2 months old until she was 8 years old. I have always had the ability to get along well with any animal and usually end up being one of their favorite people. I really love working with all breeds and would be excited to help take care of your dog or cat! I live on the island full time and have a flexible schedule so I can give your pet all the attention they need and drop by anytime for check-ins and walks. With house sittings I would be able to stay with your furry loved one the whole time and attend to any of their needs. I like to be active and can also appreciate a chill day, so it’s easy for me to match your furry friend’s level of energy. I am very attentive and affectionate with dogs and cats so I will make sure your pet feels cared for the whole time. They are my sole focus when I am with them and therefore will receive 100% of my attention. I have been off of this app for a while doing work that had me traveling all over. Now that I’m settled again, I can’t wait to hang out with and help care for your furry friends!

I am very respectful of rules and boundaries in a client’s home and will take care of the space just as well as I take care of your pet. I will always follow the guidelines set out for me in your space and can even take care of some chores like watering plants or bringing in your mail if you wish.

Matt is awesome. He slowly won our very apprehensive cat over, visit by visit. We came home to a happy cat and organized house. It felt like we weren’t gone at all. We will definitely have him watch our Ollie Bear next time we’re away ☺️

Matt has grown up with dogs since he was born and has always been good with them. He always played with them or took them for walks. One summer he even took our dog to his summer camp job. Didn't work out well but his heart was in the right place. I believe he will take care of your animal like it was his own.
Having grown up with a variety of cats and dogs, Matt is a responsible and loving caregiver. He's attentive to every pet's needs and on multiple occasions, has looked over my little one. He's kept my pet active and engaged. As an avid hiker, Matt is used to long walks in nature, and if this is something your pet prefers, Matt is up to the challenge. He can assess my pet's needs and activity level based on my pet's engagement. He's good at keeping him on schedule while also adding some interactivity to his day.

Schedule
I have a very flexible job that allows me to give all of my attention to pet care when I am on a job or just watching your pet.
