About: I know firsthand how stressful it can be to leave your pets with someone new. I’ve lived all across the country, and every time we moved, one of my biggest worries was finding someone I truly trusted with my dogs. That experience is a big part of why I want to provide the same kind of care and reassurance I’ve always looked for in a sitter. Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have three dogs and two cats of my own, including a rescue pup so I totally get having a dog with some special quirks. I also spend time taking dogs from Louisville Metro Animal Services (LMAS) out on field trips, giving them a chance to get out of the shelter, explore, play, and get some much-deserved one-on-one attention. I have a soft spot for the pets who need a little extra patience. One of my dogs is extremely anxious and terrified of thunderstorms, so I understand that not every dog immediately warms up to a new person — and that’s okay! I’m happy to take things at their pace and learn what makes them feel comfortable and safe. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, as well as cats, and I’m comfortable administering medications and following detailed care routines. My experiences as a pediatric ICU nurse has taught me to be attentive to small changes, stay clam under pressure, follow detailed care instructions, and understand just how important it is to have someone you can trust caring for a member of your family. My dogs can be pretty anxious, so leaving them with a stranger has never been easy for me. I’m the pet parent who wants lots of updates and probably way too many pictures while I’m gone! When your pets are with me, expect plenty of photos and updates. I know how reassuring it is to see your dog happily lounging on the couch, enjoying their walk, or just being their goofy self while you’re away. I want you to enjoy your time away without wondering how things are going back home. Most importantly, I genuinely love spending time with animals. Whether your dog wants long walks, someone to throw their toy 100 times, or spend the evening curled up next to me, I’m happy to meet them where they are. I want you to be able to leave home knowing your pets are with someone who understands how much they mean to you - because I know exactly how that feels. I work full-time, but I have a flexible schedule that still leaves plenty of room for pet care! I work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays, which gives me even more flexibility for drop-ins, walks, and spending some extra time with your pets on those days. I’m also an early riser, so morning visits are no problem for me — I’m happy to start my day with a walk, breakfast, litter box cleanup, or some quality time with your pet before heading to work. I know how important reliable scheduling is when someone is depending on you to care for their pets, so I’ll keep my Rover calendar updated to clearly reflect my availability. If I accept a booking, you can feel confident that I’ve made sure I have the time to give your pet the attention and care they deserve — along with plenty of photo updates along the way! Your pet’s safety and your trust are my top priorities. I’ll always follow your care instructions closely and respect your home as if it were my own. Before walks, I’ll make sure collars, harnesses, and leashes are secure, and I’ll never let a dog off leash unless specifically instructed in a safe, designated area. During drop-ins, I’ll be mindful of doors, gates, medications, food, and anything else that could pose a safety risk. I’ll also pay attention to your pet’s behavior and never force interaction if they seem nervous or uncomfortable. As a pediatric ICU nurse, safety, attention to detail, and noticing when something seems “off” are second nature to me. I’ll keep you updated during each visit and communicate right away if I notice anything concerning. My goal is for you to feel completely comfortable knowing both your pet and your home are being treated with care and respect while you’re away.

About: I've had dogs and cats in my house practically my entire life and have had the opportunity to watch friends' pets on multiple occasions. I have now been a part of the Rover Community for about 3 years. I am comfortable walking dogs, feeding and bathing and cleaning up after pets, as needed. I have a full-time job working 7 hours/day Monday-Friday so I am only available for weekend sitting services, unless your pet can be alone for long periods of time. Please feel free to reach out with any questions/concerns. I am available for house sitting, drop-ins, and dog walking in client's home after 3pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends. These would include potty breaks, feeding, walking and bathing client's pets as needed. I am willing to stay overnight as well. I can not watch pets at my own house as my own cat does not do well with other animals.

She truly has a heart for animals and so much knowledge. It takes a special person to “know cats” and Nicole gets it. She spent so much time during her visits to spend time with my cat, she didn’t just stop in and feed him and leave. Also, it’s worth noting that we had a major snowstorm here (more than we have had in YEARS) and she still found a way to get here twice a day in the weather to make sure my cat was cared for. She went above and beyond. I highly recommend her to anyone and will tell all my friends to use her as well. She’s a gem!”

I'm an animal lover and can promise you they'll receive lots of attention, play time, and affection, while you are off enjoying some time to yourself! My current schedule is flexible and allows me time for drop in visits, daily walks and overnight boarding for most of the day and evening. I know every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, so I tailor my care to each individual animal. In a client’s home, I follow their normal schedule as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, medications, potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide. I’m very attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, energy level, or anything else that seems out of the ordinary, and I’ll always communicate with you if I have any concerns. I have rescued and rehabilitated many animals including cats and various wildlife. I have experience with baby animals that require bottle feeding around the clock and that require help to urinate and defecate. I have administered medications to all sorts of animals and provided care after surgeries. Any animal under my wing receives the absolute best care. About: I am a state certified veterinary technician and also someone who has had a love for all animals since I was a kid. I've been helping all animals personally (and then professionally) for years...actually decades! I treat all fur-babies as I would my own. The unconditional love we receive from our pets is something I treasure and never take for granted. Whether young pups and kittens, or senior dogs and cats, I give them all the attention and love they deserve and crave (especially while their parents/owners are away). My schedule is currently wide open, as I have just moved back to Prospect, KY recently and am looking for the right fit in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital. My schedule is quite flexible, so I can work around yours. With my state certified veterinary technician license I am able to do things that others are not. I can also tell you what may be a start of an ear infection or allergies or nothing at all! I enjoy going to dog parks, taking walks, playing fetch (or keep away haha) but also enjoy the quiet calm time while rubbing bellies and brushing hair. Also dog massages for the senior dogs helps tons with their aches and pains and I more than willing to assist. It actually puts them in a calming trance. Cats and I are a sort of soul mate (maybe it’s the name haha) but I have dealt with watching 5 cats at an owners house and 3 of the 5 had special medical needs that I was more than happy to help! They started booking me a year out ahead of time if they could!

Let me know what treats your pup prefers (or any allergies, special diets) so I can come equipped. I have dogs, cats, and exotic pets of my own. I love animals have dedicated my life to their wellbeing. I’m a skilled handler, my own dogs all present their own challenges (especially on walks). Experienced in administering medications, including injectables. I run with my dogs and would love to run with a client’s dog who is up for it! I’m also up for hikes, long walks, or just a slow stroll for my senior dog friends. Cannot accept client where I will need to use a shock collar, sorry. I work from home and have a lot of flexibility to be home or check in on animals. I love to walk and be outside, so if you pets enjoy sunbathing while I'm on zoom calls, they'll love my set up! I have a fully-fenced half acre yard and friendly animals. For drop ins and services in your home, I will follow your instructions to a tee!

About: I have grown up with all types of animals my whole life. I have a deep love and connection with animals. I have one cat right now and I care for a friends giant Schnauzer as needed. I am able to feed your babies and take them for walks or just some fun play time . I work Monday through Thursday 6am-430pm I am available after work and on the weekends. I can do overnight at your home or just come for feeding or walks. I do work in Louisville and I’m there a lot so the distance is no problem. I can have animals overnight at my place but only on the weekends Thursday evening to Sunday evening . My cat has 3 towers for play and many other toys. I clean her box 3/4 times a week, and check food and water daily.

She is very communicative, responsive, sends updates, professional, and an animal whisperer. One of our cats eats for NO ONE but us, and on the first night Kaitlyn was able to get him to eat. She also came over for a meet and greet so the cats would be more familiar with her which was great. 10/10 would give more stars if I could and will for sure be using her services again in the future!”
