“Lauran is an absolute dream of a companion, house sitter, fur baby manager and lover, and just overall great human. Lauran was thoughtful, responsive and responsible in every way. From sharing pics of our Simon and Molly with us, to asking questions of us as needed, to her bubbly and positive personality, to her attention to detail, she will be our go to person every time we need someone who we trust to spend time at our home and with our pups. We came home to a house nice Ethan we left it a two dogs that were clearly well taken care of while we weee away. Thank you Lauran for being such a great Rover sitter! Thank you Lauran for giving us such peace found and comfort as we traveled.”

“Joanna did a great job!! She was very communicative. She sent pictures of the pets regularly, followed all directions left, reached out with any questions, and left the house tidy upon the end of the service. She even came over a week before to meet the pets and familiarize herself with the location of foods and treats! Very thankful for her work!”

About: I want to point out first, I do work a full time job Monday-Friday and the hours are 7:30-4, so this is my side hustle! I wanted to be open and transparent before you book with me! I’ve owned dogs my entire life. I currently have a white lab/golden retriever mix that is just under a year old, her name is Maggie! I’ve taken care of friends and families pets since I was about 17. The animals I’ve watched have included dogs, cats, and guinea pigs! My favorites are my senior animals who just want to lounge but I love taking my younger ones to the park to play as well! I’m currently working full time during the week but available to pet sit or take care of them after work. I build in time to my daily schedule to accommodate walks, feeding time, and play time! I am more than happy to provide references from my other clients to help ease your mind. I also have experience in having to crate animals and keeping them separate if needed.
“We recently had the pleasure of having Gabriella care for our dog, Mo, while we were out of town for five days visiting our son and his family. She was absolutely wonderful! Gabriella not only watched Mo, but also housesat for us, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. She showed a kind heart and genuine love for animals, paid close attention to detail, and asked thoughtful questions to fully understand Mo’s routine. She followed every instruction perfectly and went above and beyond—playing with Mo, taking him outside, brushing him, and sending us regular picture updates so we could see how happy he was while we were away. On top of caring for Mo, Gabriella kept the house clean and orderly. Her positive attitude, responsibility, and reliability made the entire experience stress-free. Most importantly, Mo clearly adored her—it was obvious he felt loved and cared for. We highly recommend Gabriella to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive, and compassionate pet and house sitter. We couldn’t be happier with the care she provided!”

“Angela did a great job caring for our pups as well as our home while we were away. We received updates with pictures from their walks, about their general health and well being. When we returned home the house was in perfect order. We will definitely trust Angela to care for our pups and our home again.”

“Annie, was attentive, and caring with my dog while I was gone. Additionally, I appreciate that she was responsive and kept me updated. I would highly recommend Annie to anyone and everyone!”

“Janae did a great job with our pups. She was communicative and easy to work with. We received numerous pictures and updates throughout the day. I would highly recommend her in the future.”

“Sophie watched our 2 dogs and 2 cats while we were out of town, and was phenomenal! She was very communicative, and our animals loved her! It alleviates the stress of leaving when you know the animals and house are being taken care of. We would (and will) absolutely use her again!”

“My dogs are very high energy and one in particular gets into a lot of trouble. Ross did a great job of keeping him in check, and my house wasn’t in sticks when I returned home! I highly reccommend him”

“Kaitlyn sends daily photos of my pup Betti lounging, cuddling, and sunning. In other words, content. I had a stressful time getting home with several delayed flights and missed connections. Kaitlyn was understanding and supportive and stayed beyond the original booking time to ensure Betti was okay.”

“Katie was a perfect caretaker for our dogs while we were away getting married. She eased my worries about leaving the dogs alone for the first time with someone that wasn’t family. She gave us detailed updates every day. We will definitely use her services again and we highly recommend her to take care of your pets!”

“Anne was great with Zenna and did a wonderful job accommodating my scheduling needs. She updated me daily and gave Zenna the attention and exercise she craves😊 I’ll use her again for sure.”

“Ava was great! She is one of the best sitters I have had so far, she did exactly everything that I asked if her. I loved all of the picture she sent throughout the day and that made me feel at ease although I was 300 miles away. My apartment felt even cleaner than I left it! My cat was seemed happy and content when I came back - she wasn’t clingy at all like she didn’t miss me much lol. I would definitely ask Ava to sit my place again. Highly recommend her.”

Blue Ridge Manor pet parents share their Rover experiences
Madison was excellent. She helped us out with both our dog and cat with a very last minute request. She was very responsive and easy to work with and clearly has a lot of pet experience. I had zero hesitation leaving her with the house and the pets. As expected, the furry kids were happy and the house was in perfect order upon our return. I will definitely reach out to Madison again!

Elizabeth stayed with our beagle Lilly for 2 nights and a full day. This was the first time we have left her. She is a rescue of having her 3 months. Elizabeth was very calm and attentive to Lilly. We felt confident leaving Lilly in her care. She will be back again soon. Lilly will be looking forward to seeing her again

Grace was an excellent pet sitter for our three cats. She was professional, responsible, and communicated clearly throughout our time away. We would not hesitate to trust Grace again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and attentive pet sitter
