“Jenna saved the day on very short notice. She arrived right on time and my girls seemed to like her. This was only her first visit but she seems very reliable. I would definitely book with her again.”
“We appreciate you so much! Emily genuinely cares about our dog’s welfare and health and will go out of her way to help and make him more comfortable. He is not the easiest pet, but despite his sometimes confusing behavior, Emily goes above and beyond to provide the highest level of care.”
About: Hello! I’m a dedicated, experienced pet sitter who provides safe, loving care in a clean, comfortable home. I’m a single mom with a flexible full-time schedule that allows for convenient drop-ins, walks, and both in-home and house boarding. My home is located in a downtown area with acess to a yard for supervised play and exercise. We have lots of sidewalks and parks for walking around the area. Services I offer: Drop-in visits and daily care Dog walking Small-animal boarding and care In-home or house boarding (small/medium dogs considered) Emergency contacts and daily photo/text updates Why owners trust me: Prior experience working with veterinarians and professional groomers I create personalized ID tags with my contact information for every pet in my care Clean, safe environment and attentive supervision Flexible availability for last-minute needs and scheduled visits Loving, calm approach—your pet’s comfort and routine are my priority I have one friendly dog who is well-socialized and used to sharing space with visiting pets (management and introductions are handled carefully for each new guest). I’m happy to discuss introductions, meet-and-greets, and any special needs or routines your pet requires. I work mostly from home so I am able to provide your pet with as much care, love and attention possible. We love animals and would love to work with you. We offer a safe home for all sorts of animals. We have cameras throughout the property, we keep dogs on leash at all times when outside unless at an approved dog park. We have tons of windows for our cat friends to sun themselves. We don't chance anything. We know how much they mean to you and we strive to be diligent in safety and care.
“Stephanie is awesome and treated our dog like one of her own. She is very trustworthy and was great at communicating. Will work with her again for sure!”

“Elizabeth is incredible. She was the peace of mind I needed when leaving my fur baby at home. She sends updates and goes above and beyond I could not have found a better sitter.”

About: Pets are my world. I volunteered at an animal rescue for 8 years before I moved out of town. I had a 14-year-old rescue who was blind and diabetic. I gave him two injections a day and cooked his food every week. Let your pup be my new bestie. I currently do not have a set schedule so my schedule is pretty flexible to keep your babies company when needed even in short notice! I let them smell me each time and come to me when they are comfortable. I have no doubt they will warm up to me fast!
About: I’ve grown up with animals my whole life, and now have my own dog and 2 cats who I adore and spoil. I love any excuse to be outside and going for walks, and even better with a pup or two! I live in Germantown in my house with a fenced-in yard, I have cared for senior dogs, raised a puppy, and managed multiple chronic illnesses with my cats - all worth it, and I am passionate about taking care of all animals. I have a hybrid work schedule, and work only a couple miles from my house, so I am consistently home and caring for my animals, and am happy to work with pet schedules that may need frequent check-ins! I have my own home, with a fenced in backyard. I walk my dog at least once a day, and am happy to accommodate different energy levels and needs

“Jacqueline was amazing! She fit me in on a super short notice when I took an unplanned day trip. She was extremely communicative and kind, and even offered to do extra tasks that I hadn’t asked of her.”

About: Hi, I have been around animals of all different shapes and sizes my whole life. In addition to taking care of my own cat, I volunteer at the animal shelter to provide care and fostering. I would love to meet your furry friend! I recently completed my bachelor's degree at UCLA and relocated to Louisville to begin my professional career. Although I love pets, my lifestyle does not allow me to have a pet full-time. I will give the pets I care for maximal attention and energy. I think it is most important when a dog/cat is in a new environment or in one with new people is to make them feel comfortable and safe. In order to insure this I would spend time with the dog/cat and owner before I care for them on my own
“William did a great job with my two cats! Communication was very good and easy, and my kitties seemed to really like him immediately! I will absolutely rebook.”

“Breanna was absolutely wonderful with Cooper. She sent great pictures throughout the stay — Cooper looked happy, relaxed, and clearly loved spending time with her. She was always on time for walks and kept me updated without me ever needing to ask. Scheduling with her was easy and stress‑free, and she spent real quality time with Cooper, not just quick check‑ins. I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. Highly recommend Breanna for anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter.”

About: I adopted a rambunctious shelter cat 5 years ago. She’s a wild child with a big personality! And I took in a stray cat about 2 years ago, who needed lots of care, including surgeries, food insecurity behaviors, etc. I’ve cared for cats my entire life, but these 2 girls have taught me how to handle the extremes. I am very knowledgeable about cats and their needs, and I can promise you, your baby will be taken care of as if they were my own (aka like perfect princess angels that I’d go to war for) I work from home, so I can immediately take care of any and all needs. I frequently check on my 2 cats, and have no issue stepping away from my desk if needed. In my home: My 2 cats have their own bedroom, catered to their playtime and nap time. They have free rein of the house, and are very welcoming to other cats. They are up to date on vaccinations and vet care, and they do not go outside for their safety. In your home: I will treat your pet(s) as if they were my own, with kindness and patience. I will follow your routine. I will be sure to change my clothes and take off my shoes to avoid any anxiety from smells of my own pets.
“Athena came through for us in a pinch. She is so communicative, attentive, and we truly lucked out in finding her. Our three dogs absolutely adore her. She sent videos and pictures that let us know that our dogs were in the best hands.”
“Toria has dropped-in for us on multiple occassions. She is always prompt with her communication and we can tell that Hank, our cat, is always pleased to see her!”

“Absolutely fantastic! I was out of town for the weekend and this was my first time using Rover to watch after my pets; I have never been so satisfied because Erica truly took care of my dogs as if they were her own”

I’m currently working part time retail(18 hours)but I have a flexible schedule and work in the neighborhood.I am able to work with any schedule accommodations . For me, supervision is key when it comes to safety in my home and a client's home. Making sure to be aware and focused on the pet to spot any unusual behaviors. About: Hello! I love looking after family and friend’s pets and would love the chance to do it more often. I’m responsible and caring and I will take very good care of your pets. Hi! I’m a flight attendant on reserve, which basically means I’m on call. So I’ll know a head of time the days I’m off for the following month. The days I’m call, I’ll usually be at home waiting around, so I’ll still be free to do pop ins and walks. I have a fenced in yard for them to play in. I will walk them frequently. I will also make sure they are well taken care of and loved until they are back with you.

Bayley was awesome with drop in visits for our dog! She took great care of her, especially responding to her fear of storms, which were plentiful while we were gone. She also quickly accepted our request to extend services after our return flight was cancelled. Highly recommended!

Breanna was absolutely wonderful with Cooper. Highly recommend Breanna for anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter.

Ryan was so helpful with our dog and two cats. Our regular pet sitter had to cancel last minute and Ryan really stepped up and helped us out so much. He even gave our cat medicine so he could feel his best while we’re gone. We will definitely be rebooking with Ryan sometime soon!

Katelyn was very thorough in making sure she was prepared to sit Gusty and knew all of his needs ahead of time. She made the process incredibly easy for me and was very communicative and demonstrated that she genuinely cared about Gusty. I would gladly rebook in the future.

Jessica did a fantastic job taking care of our dogs while we were away. One dog is nervous around new people and pretty much anybody who isn’t us, and that in turn makes our other dog anxious as well. Jessica was gentle, resourceful, and creative in managing them and their drop-in visits. She also communicated well with us, so we felt our dogs were safe and in good hands. Thank you!

Rose was absolutely amazing. She was able to sit for us last minute when we had a late cancellation. She was so communicative, sent lots of pictures, and even spent some additional quality time with our pup while we were away on a holiday which was so appreciated. She dealt with giving him some meds and messing with a cone of shame as he’d hurt his paw right before we left for our trip and was a pro about it. We would 100% work with Rose again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
