About: Not only have I worked with animals my whole life I also work with dogs specifically with a rescue organization called AdoptMeBluegrass. I help with their animal care weekly and am part of their foster program. My family and my own dogs have welcomed hundreds of others into our home and always provide excellent care. I am a local landlord and typically only go out to work at the pet adoption center for AdoptMeBluegrass. I have no set work hours. I spend my time with the dogs. I have a double fenced property on a dead end street. Dogs love the 3/4 dedicated dog yard for them to play on our 6 acres of land. We have crates and can make your pet feel right at home. I’m a treats giver so let me know if there is something they can’t have or any other dietary restrictions. I can also come to your pet for services while you are away.
About: Hey! My name is Megan. I have had the privilege of working with animals for the past two years. I have a pretty diverse background which includes a year of experience in a veterinary clinic, where I assisted with feeding, walking and companionship with the dogs. In addition, I’ve spent time taking care of horses delving into the equestrian world. Recently, I have been pet sitting and doing drop ins for friends and family, which consists of feeding, walking and playing with the dogs. I have also owned both dogs and cats throughout my entire life! I am currently in school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-12ish. So my schedule is pretty open and flexible. I do work as a pharmacy technician 1-2 days a week sometimes but if I am pet sitting I typically do not do that. While I don’t provide any services in my house I am a very kind and approachable. I feel this creates a safe environment for the pets and a trustworthy environment for the owners.
“Donai was exceptional! I knew when she came to meet Alice and Hank and she got on the floor to meet them, and asked for some treats to win them over, that she had already won over my approval. She gave me daily updates and daily pictures. It made me so happy on my trip to both see them, and also see that they were being well cared for and loved. Would definitely book Donai again!!”

“Bayley did a great job with all 3 of our dogs! She came over in the morning for breakfast; as we needed help because our reg dog-sitter's schedule changed. She jumped right in and was very flexible! Def will use Bayley again!!”

About: I grew up with multiple pets, we often called it the "Cook Family Zoo". I've helped take care of many cats, dogs, turtles, fish and even ferrets at one point! I currently have two dogs a terrier/cattle dog mix and a German shepherd/lab mix puppy! They both are rescues and love to cuddle. I volunteer with a local dog rescue and am a proud foster fail. :) I’m passionate about protecting all furry friends and finding the perfect home for each loving animal. I love all animals, big or small, and do my best to be flexible and communicate with you quickly and thoroughly. I hope you will consider me to help take care of your loved ones and I will be sure to give them lots of love while you're away. Currently working full time but have availability on weekends and most evenings to help out! I also have flexibility at work so depending on your needs can make drop in visits and walks during the day. I work from home occasionally too so I can usually be flexible as needed. If visiting your home I would respect your wishes around routine training, diet and behavior. I typically provide photos and/or text updates of your pet so you know they’re doing well and we’ll looked after even when you’re not able to be there!
About: Grew up with 2 dogs when I was kid. I can’t wait to take care of your dogs like they are my own family pet I’m currently active duty army. I am available all weekends. During weekday I can check on your fur baby after work around 5 o’clock. ❤️ I live in an apartment. I love going on walks and watching over pets. My home had nothing hazardous for them to get in to
“We had booked Jonah to watch our girls on short notice while we had to go out of state for a few days. He had gone out of his way to revisit the pups a few extra times to ensure that they received the care and playtime they needed. Jonah really showed his love for animals when caring for our pups. He made sure that they got more than enough potty breaks and lots of love, attention, and TREATS! Jonah always provided us with updates, along with pictures, during his visits and made us aware of any problems that may have occurred. He would also ask us any questions he had during his visits to ensure that everything was correct. After having Jonah take care of our girls, we can really see that he cares and loves them just as much as we do. We will definitely be contacting Jonah to watch over our fur babies in the future!”

About: I’ve worked with dogs for over 20 years, with much of that time spent walking and handling shelter dogs—especially those that are anxious or unsure. That experience taught me how important calm, structure, and consistency are in helping dogs feel more confident. I run Trail & Heel, a dog training and adventure-based care service in Louisville. I focus on practical, real-world training—whether that’s working with puppies, improving leash manners, or helping nervous dogs build confidence. Every walk and interaction is handled with intention. For me, care and training go hand in hand, with the goal of helping dogs become calmer, more reliable, and easier to live with. Caring for dogs is already part of my everyday life, so it fits naturally into my routine. I plan my schedule around the dogs I’m working with so I’m not rushing between visits. That means each dog gets calm, consistent attention and a much better experience overall. Care is always tailored to the dog and the service, but the approach stays consistent: calm, structured, and intentional. In a client’s home, I stick closely to their routine—feeding, potty breaks, exercise, and any specific instructions—while also reinforcing good habits like leash manners, calm greetings, and settling. In my home, I keep the environment structured and low-stress. Dogs get supervised time, appropriate exercise (including trail walks when it’s a good fit), and clear boundaries so they can relax and succeed. I only take on a small number of dogs at a time to make sure each one gets the attention they need.

About: My family got our first dog when I was 6 years old so I’ve been around dogs most of my life. Having taken care of them for so long, I understand what it takes to keep them happy. I recently lost my childhood dog and I miss being around dogs so much. This is a great way for me to stay around them! I am a college baseball player and just got back for the rest of summer. I am not working and have nothing going on so I am free all the time. I have a large yard but I will keep your dog supervised the whole time or leashed if needed. If your dog is at my house, it will be treated with even better care than usual, my whole family loves dogs.

About: I’ve had many animals and have been a sitter for many animals. I’ve owned chickens, goats, cats, dogs, and a guinea pig. I’ve sat ferrets, cats, dogs, and even hermit crabs. I treat my animals with only love and care. They get the best of the best, so let me give yours the same treatment! I have 2 dogs and my life revolves around them. Everything I do and plan, I always have them in mind. This is what I am doing for work, so I am available for any time you need. I have a very large fenced in yard. There is plenty of shade and sunlight for whatever your dog likes! I have 2 dogs so my house is dog safe. My dogs are my family so I will treat yours as such as well.
About: Hi! I’ve grown up taking care of many pets and have experience of dog sitting for family and friends. Looking to walk some dogs for extra cash! I currently work at an ophthalmology office from 8-5pm on the weekdays but am available after these hours! I go on neighborhood walks daily and would be perfect to have a furry company :) I have a fenced yard and a family of dog lovers that can give your pets some extra love! I’m equipped with any dog potty cleaning needs and some toys as well!
About: Hello! I am a senior at the University of Kentucky. I have grown up around animals my entire life, and I would love the opportunity to take care of your pets! I am currently working part time, and my schedule is flexible. I have the most availability in the evenings, and I am willing to accommodate your schedule. I love to play with animals, and I will be sure to take good care of your pets! I am willing to provide any services needed to ensure that you are comfortable.

About: I worked at a vet clinic for over two years and have lived with dogs for many years. I’ve always loved dogs and love to be outside or just laying around with animals. Whatever your pet needs, I can do it! With my experience in the clinic I have worked with all ages and types of dogs from week old puppies to elderly dogs that can’t walk. I’m able to make special adjustments if necessary for your dog and will be happy to do so! I can’t currently have a dog so I thrive off playing with and being around other people’s dogs. I would love to spend time doing something that I love. My schedule varies and allows me to have breaks during the day or evening that others may not have. This allows me to work around your schedule. I can provide whatever care is needed for your pet. As someone who worked in the past as a veterinary nurse I am able to provide this comprehensive knowledge to keep your pet safe and happy.
“Kelly was amazing! We were out of the country for 3 weeks. It was a huge relief to know that our cats were in good hands while we were away. Kelly sent us pics/video of our girls every day along with thorough updates about how they were doing. She consistently went above & beyond for us, our cats, and our home/property in general. We can't recommend her enough! THANK YOU, Kelly!!!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
