About: I’ve been dog sitting since I was 16 for neighbors and friends and I love it. I bathe, walk, and play with them and make sure all their needs are taken care of. About: Hi! I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember, and animals have always been one of my biggest passions. I currently have two rescue dogs and a rescue kitten, so I am constantly surrounded by animals and am very familiar with the care, attention, and love they require. About: I’ve loved animals since I was a kid. My partner Jacob and I have 3 yorkies, a cat, a mini pig, and hedgehogs. We have experience with reptiles and arachnids as well. We love all critters, no matter the species! I have experience providing medical care to dogs ranging from post-surgical care such as monitoring for adverse reactions to anesthesia, to facilitating recovery from ACL repair surgery by providing heat/ice to the affected leg and following surgeon's orders for increasing walk length on a variety of terrains to help the dog regain muscle strength. I only walk dogs in an escape-proof device such as a Martindale or chain ("choke") collar. I will not walk a dog in a flat collar or harness, even if the device is advertised as 'escape proof' or the dog does not have a history of escaping. This is for my peace of mind as well as yours, and for the safety of your fur baby. In addition, when I am walking your dogs, they are my first priority. I am not on my phone so I can pay attention to my surroundings and the dogs in order to maximize safety for both of us. Finally, to make my time with your fur baby as positive as possible, I require a meet and greet with you and your pet before coming to care for them by myself.
