About: I have many years of caring for my own cats (Jack & Jill growing up, and my foster cat Bucky now) as well as lots of experience dog-walking and home-sitting throughout college. I absolutely love making new friends with your pets and am happy to provide them less time alone or in their kennels I still have full-time work to accommodate (from 9am-3:30pm), but I work remote and am able to be flexible. I am available most evenings and weekends. Unfortunately my apartment makes me unavailable to provide care for pets away from your home. About: Caring for your pet the way you do is most important. We love to be outside and take hikes. We love giving belly rubs and making sure your fur baby is getting one on one attention while on their break. We ask that you bring anything that will make them feel comfortable including bedding, toys, treats and a leash and collar that are sturdy enough for your dog to be walked. While we do love your fur babies no matter how they come please make sure you are honest about house training and how you care for your pet so we can have a heads up. Multiple accidents in the house will increase rates. I am available most days and times. My open availability leaves you with piece of mind knowing there's someone that can help any time of the day. About: Although we currently only have one female dog, we have nearly always had 2 large dogs (Chesapeake bay retrievers) for the past 20 years. We lost our big guy in April 2024 and haven't had it in us to get another. So, we are ready to share our home and yard with your pup! “If you’re thinking of booking Meg, this is your sign to do it! She is so kind and gentle and was incredibly accommodating for all our needs for our sweet dog. We had our dog (2 years ago old Australian cattle dog mix) stay with Meg for a few days while we were in the midst of a big house move. She was the perfect safe and playful landing spot and sent us photos every day of our boy playing with her dog and lounging on the couch and snuggling at her feet while she worked from home. She’s the best, would absolutely book again.”
“We had a wonderfully experience with Kaitlin as our dog sitter. She arranged a meet and greet beforehand to introduce our dogs and address questions and concerns on both sides. Kaitlin took the time to observe our dogs together and ask questions about their routines, quirks, preferences, etc. She is responsive to messages and skilled at keeping our dog on its medicine routine. When we picked them up, they were genuinely happy and they’d not picked up any bad habits. We look forward to doing this again with Kaitlin.”
