“We found Sean to be very caring, professional and wonderful man. He took excellent care of our Silver lab, Boone. He took time to let us be a part of him introducing Boone to the other dog who was staying with him. He sent us photos and sent us updates. We will definitely be using Sean again when we travel. ❤️”

“I can’t say enough good things about these folks. To start, they spent an hour with me and Benny (my pup) in advance of my trip and introduced us to their place. Benny loved the big backyard and I could tell he immediately felt at home. During my trip, I received daily videos of Benny playing with other dogs or being loved on, which made me feel good knowing I was so far away from home. Benny is such a good dog and I am grateful to have connected with people as equally good and loving. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.”

“I give Stephen and Angela 5 stars. They were very accommodating and answered all my questions. Since I was new to Rover I was worried about leaving my dog with someone I didn’t know but they made me feel comfortable. I would definitely use them again”

“Carla took great care of Buddy. I was worried since I have not had him that long and he has never been away from me. She sent me photos daily and kept me updated. I would recommend her to anyone.”

“Beth was amazing with my dog!!! She sent plenty of updates with photos so I knew my dog was happy and healthy. I really appreciate the time she took to ask questions about my dog’s preferences and behavior prior to agreeing to watch her! Beth is amazing and very kind”

“We had a wonderful experience! Zeke is a Lab, and they have a Lab too, plus they were watching another younger dog during his stay. He had so much fun having canine companions to play with. Their home is spacious with plenty of room for the dogs, and with four kids plus mom and dad, Zeke received lots of love, attention, and belly rubs. It was obvious he felt right at home. I also really appreciated the daily updates and photos, they gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. You can genuinely tell this is a family that loves dogs and treats them like part of the family. They’re just kind, caring people. As much as I hate leaving my dog behind when I travel, knowing he’ll be staying with a family like this makes it so much easier. I’ll definitely be booking with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy, caring sitters.”

“Jared and Waverly were absolutely incredible with our dog! From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make sure she was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. They gave us regular updates and photos, which made us feel completely at ease while we were away. It was obvious how much love and attention they gave her-she was relaxed and happy when we got home, which says it all. We couldn’t recommend them more highly! If you’re looking for trustworthy, responsible, and genuinely caring sitters, Jared and Waverly are the best.”

“Adam and family took great care of our pups! They sent pictures and updates every day and I felt like they genuinely cared for our precious dogs. One of our pups has a hard time getting along with other dogs at first, but they were patient, introduced her slowly to the others, and she eventually settled in. Thanks for all the doggie snuggles! We'll be back!”

“Bill was amazing watching our hound, who can be anxious. He had great communication and sent plenty of pics throughout her stay. She seemed very relaxed when we picked her up! Will be using his services again.”

“Dan was amazing. She provided a lot of pictures and videos. My dog had a great time with her and her kids. We will definitely be booking with her for our future trips!”

“Rachel had watched one or more of my dogs 4 times now. Most recently, my bratty 2 year old Rottweiler. Rachel and partner were great from the beginning! No fear of my dog, didn’t rush her, even informed me some things that I didn’t know. Rachel always sends pictures throughout. My baby had such a good time and was worn out at pick-up.”

“Wow, I’m speechless just how amazing this experience was not only as a human, but my puppy was happy and clean when I came back. Heather is truly an angel and I can’t speak to what a blessing she was for us to leave our fur baby! 10 stars! Can’t thank her enough.”
“Haley absolutely saved our life with a VERY last minute booking. She was super responsive, updated with photos, and was super close which made it the easiest experience possible. Cannot rave about her enough!!”

“Incredible care for Oakley. I highly recommend Elizabeth and Phillip. They have Aussie experience and it made whole stay much easier. Oakley fit right in and I appreciated their flexibly on his food and exercises!”

“This is my first time getting a sitter for my dog, and let me tell you I am so glad I went with Shelby! She is super sweet and genuinely cares for your pet. If I need a sitter again, she will be my choice again!”
“Megan took great care of my dog and was great about sharing pictures and letting me know he was doing good while I was out of town. Sounded like he got along great with her dog as well. Definitely recommend her if you need someone to look after your dog.”

“Shaine took care of a feral cat that I have been caring for over the last eight years. Feral cats choose people not the other way around. It was obvious from how close this cat came to Shaine that she is good people. I would recommend Shaine for simple or complicated pet sitting needs.”

“Mary was the absolute best!! I felt so relieved on my trip knowing that my baby was in good hands. She genuinely cared about my pet and was so thoughtful!! I loved how much time she spent with him and the pictures and updates that I got. She is fantastic!! 10/10 recommend! 💙”

“Eleanor did a great job watching Jinx & Taco while we were out of town. Appreciated all the photos and concern when Jinx had a hairball. Jinx appreciated all the attention!”

“Joanna had been so nice and loving to our kitties when we were away. She paid attention to every detail and took great care. She spent good time playing with my cats, petting them and giving them lots of love and attention. I was able to put my mind at peace, trusting Joanna with my fur babies. Totally recommend her. ❤️”

“Natalie was very nice and accommodated us very well. I made a mistake which she was happy to work around. She's the cat whisperer and was able to make friends with my very shy cat so I'm super grateful for it!”

“Donai was exceptional! I knew when she came to meet Alice and Hank and she got on the floor to meet them, and asked for some treats to win them over, that she had already won over my approval. She gave me daily updates and daily pictures. It made me so happy on my trip to both see them, and also see that they were being well cared for and loved. Would definitely book Donai again!!”

About: I’ve owned cats my entire life. They are unique animals that march to the beat of their own drums. Able to give simple meds, provide all basic cat care needs and understand sometimes caring for a cat means imma have to bleed to make sure they get the care they need, and won’t hold a grudge against you nor the cat.

Whether it’s walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, or simply keeping them company, my goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care.

“Amber was once again amazing with my kitties. I came back to happy healthy well-fed kitties, and she made sure to keep me updated with pics and little blurbs about how the visits went. She also went above and beyond as always. 10/10 would book again.”

“From first hello, Sean was gentle with Winnie, who can be nervous around new men. He was so thorough and professional in communicating with us and was completely flexible with our return time, as we tooled around Louisville to see the sights. We could not have felt more secure knowing Sean was looking after our girl (and walking her down to the Ohio River was just icing on the cake). Recommend Sean highly!!!”

“We were traveling through town and needed care for our dog during the day as we ventured out on the bourbon trail. Rachel was extremely accommodating and we felt at ease leaving our dog with her. This is the first time we have used Rover and would highly recommend Rover and Rachel.”

“Angela and Stephen are good dog sitters and even better people. Bella is always worn out with a smile on her face every time she gets to stay with them. 5/5 would recommend to anyone wanting great care for your beloved pet!”
“We are from out of town, in Indiana for a short time. We received a last minute invite to go to Churchill downs - Elizabeth accepted our request to puppy sit... and our pupp had the best day! We received pictures and videos of her playing and living her best life. We felt totally at ease and relaxed knowing our little Willi was in great hands.”

“Jared and Waverly were great with our dogs, and even managed to get my curmudgeon named skittles to positively interact with a couple older dogs! They were flexible and understanding of my changing schedule, as we were on a road trip and only needed help for a few hours. If I’m ever in Louisville with the doggos again I’d contact them straightaway”

“I’m so happy Bear had a great time with this sitter, she was amazing at being available short notice and took very good care of my dog. I highly recommend this sitter!”

About: Hello! You can call me Wendy. I’m a tenured physics professor and a lifelong animal lover. I currently have three cats of my own and many years of experience caring for both cats and dogs. I have experience caring for senior pets and understand the importance of routines, medication schedules, and paying close attention to changes in behavior and health. I’m patient, reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their family is away. For pets boarding in my home, I understand that some pets may be more comfortable having their own space. If you prefer, I can keep my three cats completely separate from your pet for the entire stay, so your pet can relax in a safe, quiet environment. As a professor, I bring professionalism, responsibility, and strong communication to every pet-sitting job. My schedule is especially flexible during evenings, weekends, holidays, and university breaks. Whether you need house sitting, drop-in visits, dog walking, feeding, litter box cleaning, or care for senior pets, I will treat your pets and home with the same care and respect I give my own.
About: I've cared for animals my entire life. Animals in my home are well loved; including baths if requested, exercise, and lots of play! I'm very accommodating. I work full-time from home, mostly on virtual meetings spread throughout the day. I'm up early each day and always ready for a nice walk! My yard is mostly fenced, but dogs would be kept on a leash for safety. Pets are welcome to sleep on any furniture. Food and water is available at all times in the kitchen.

About: Welcome! We're the Phenix family—a family of six (plus our two sweet dogs!). We understand that leaving your dog with someone else is a big decision, and we strive to provide a safe, loving, and fun home away from home. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which means visiting dogs are rarely left alone for more than a few hours and have plenty of opportunities to get outside. Safety is one of our top priorities. Our spacious backyard is fully fenced with a secure 4-foot wrought iron fence, giving dogs lots of room to run and play. We know some pups are talented escape artists, so our gates are secured with locks, and every guest wears an AirTag during their stay as an extra precaution—just in case we have a little Houdini on our hands! Our 2 resident pups are Athena (a Collie) and Lulu (a Beagle mix). Both are 10 years old, gentle, and experienced hosts. We've been dog sitting for over 9 years, so they're very comfortable welcoming new furry friends into our home. They're great at reading other dogs' body language and are happy to play or simply give visiting dogs their space if that's what they prefer. To keep everyone happy and healthy, all dogs are fed separately to prevent food-related conflicts, and we only give treats and food provided by each owner to help avoid upset stomachs or dietary issues. We look forward to welcoming your pup into our family and treating them like one of our own while you're away! Our day starts with dogs being let out to go to the bathroom at 6am then breakfast. We have had some late sleepers stay with us, so we do adjust for our sleepy friends. Dogs have access to the backyard whenever they would like and we have plenty of dog toys for them to enjoy. We are happy to accommodate any feeding schedule, so we can keep your pup as close to their normal routine as possible. We have a fully fenced in yard with locks on the gates. Since we know some dogs are great at escaping, we have an air tag just in case.
“Sarah and family greeted Lucy at the door. She happily ran off following the kids for a fun evening! She loves kids! Sarah was easy to work with our uncertain time frame! E McCoy and Lucy”

About: “Dogs do speak, but only to those who know how to listen.”– Orhan Pamuk Peace of mind is everything while you are away. I will provide tons of updates and pictures for you to rest assured your baby is in good hands. Many of my clients return again and again, it’s the greatest compliment! I am a compassionate, flexible, reliable pet sitter that will treat your doggie like family. You can feel secure, knowing your pet is in safe, loving hands while you are away. If your pet requires any type of special needs or medication, you can rely on my experience. I have a house with a fully fenced in back yard. I keep my bookings very limited and only accept overlapping puppers when they’re a calm, proven fit. They will get the extra attention they deserve while also having a couple of canine playmates! I work from home so I am able to give your baby full attention, exercise and snuggles all day every day. They will have plenty of socialization and company. I have always loved animals of every kind. I have taken care of dogs for the past 20 years through myself or friends. I have raised & trained my sweet senior Doberman from 8 weeks old. I also have a rescue, a sweet senior Pomeranian that I have had for the past 11 years. In our free time we love going to the lake, camping, picnics in the parks, car rides, the dog park and the occasional pup cup! We would be thrilled for you to allow us to watch your sweet baby and go on adventures with us! I am always extremely flexible to fit you and your pet’s needs and schedule. I work from home so your fur baby will have constant companionship, mental, and physical exercise! I have a fully fenced in backyard and two very friendly dogs to keep them company and have fun-time playmates. We go out to potty at least every 1-2 hours. I also have a large and small crate for dogs that are crate trained unless you’d like to bring your own. I have a separate fully insured $1M policy for your peace of mind.

About: Dogs have always been family in my home, and that’s exactly how I treat every pup who stays here. My name is Keith and I share a home with my wife, Natalie; our 4-year-old Irish Wolfhound, Bernie, and our 6-year-old daughter, who has grown up loving and being around dogs. The home has a large, fully fenced-in yard with plenty of room for dogs to run, play, explore, or just lounge outside. Inside, the home is completely dog-friendly—couches, furniture, snuggles and all! I want your dog to feel like they’re staying with family rather than being boarded. One of the biggest benefits of staying here is that someone is almost always home. I work from home 90% of the time and the whole family is home on the weekends, so your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. They won’t spend their stay sitting alone for hours. Having an Irish Wolfhound has also given me plenty of experience with large and giant breeds, but I genuinely love dogs of all sizes and personalities. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your dog with someone new, so my goal is to follow their normal routine as closely as possible and make them feel safe, comfortable, loved, and included while they’re here. And of course, I am happy to send plenty of pictures and updates so you can see what your pup is up to! 🐶❤️ Pet care fits naturally into my everyday routine. I work from home majority of the time, so someone is almost always here. This means your pup won’t be left alone for long periods and will get plenty of attention, playtime, outside time, and cuddles throughout the day. I am available for weekday and weekend boarding and love having an extra furry family member around! The home has a large, fully fenced-in backyard with plenty of room for dogs to safely run, play, and explore. I also have a sweet 4-year-old Irish Wolfhound named Bernie who is very much part of our family. We have a 6-year-old daughter who has grown up around dogs and understands how to be gentle and respectful with them. The home is very dog-friendly—pups are welcome on the furniture, encouraged to get comfortable, and treated like part of the family while they’re here. I am also happy to follow your dog’s normal feeding, sleeping, medication, crate, or exercise routine so they feel as comfortable and secure as possible.

I have a part time job that is extremely flexible and currently my classes are online with certain classes throughout the month where I have to physically be there. I will up date you with my schedule accordingly. Since I have this much flexibility I tend to say I’m free. :) I currently have a dog and two cats who are very friendly. My orange tabby is very shy so he runs and hides a lot but my other cat is very sweet and sociable. My dog is the same, he grew up around other smaller dogs and cats. He does have anxiety around bigger dogs so he’ll hide behind me when meeting one.

“Breagha is a friendly pup but with all the recent changes in our lives has become pretty velcro with me. She took to Allie immediately and trusted her enough to trot out across the porch without me. She willingly went out in the yard for a short walk. Allie’s kind gentle personality is a perfect match for a sensitive collie.”

“Natalie was wonderful once again with Mac and Oliver. She always goes above and beyond and I can be at work without worrying about the boys. Very appreciative of her help!”

About: I am a state certified veterinary technician and also someone who has had a love for all animals since I was a kid. I've been helping all animals personally (and then professionally) for years...actually decades! I treat all fur-babies as I would my own. The unconditional love we receive from our pets is something I treasure and never take for granted. Whether young pups and kittens, or senior dogs and cats, I give them all the attention and love they deserve and crave (especially while their parents/owners are away). My schedule is currently wide open, as I have just moved back to Prospect, KY recently and am looking for the right fit in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital. My schedule is quite flexible, so I can work around yours. With my state certified veterinary technician license I am able to do things that others are not. I can also tell you what may be a start of an ear infection or allergies or nothing at all! I enjoy going to dog parks, taking walks, playing fetch (or keep away haha) but also enjoy the quiet calm time while rubbing bellies and brushing hair. Also dog massages for the senior dogs helps tons with their aches and pains and I more than willing to assist. It actually puts them in a calming trance. Cats and I are a sort of soul mate (maybe it’s the name haha) but I have dealt with watching 5 cats at an owners house and 3 of the 5 had special medical needs that I was more than happy to help! They started booking me a year out ahead of time if they could!

About: Since graduating high school, I’ve worked as a house and pet sitter for neighbors, friends, and family. I’ve pet‑sat on and off over the last few years and am hoping to take on more jobs this summer before starting my senior year of college in August. I’m patient, responsible, and caring, and I truly enjoy spending time with animals. I can’t wait for the opportunity to work with you and your pets! I’m a college student currently on summer break, so I have plenty of free time each day to focus on caring for pets. My schedule is very flexible, and I’m able to give consistent attention and maintain a reliable routine for your pet. I always prioritize safety and comfort, whether that means supervised outdoor play, quiet indoor time, or crating if needed. I follow each pet’s routine closely, keep their environment clean, and make sure they feel secure, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.
About: I’ve worked in animal shelters for more than a decade! Experienced with difficult behaviors, including arousal, resource guarding, stranger issues, and more. I use positive reinforcement only. Let me know what treats your pup prefers (or any allergies, special diets) so I can come equipped. I have dogs, cats, and exotic pets of my own. I love animals have dedicated my life to their wellbeing. I’m a skilled handler, my own dogs all present their own challenges (especially on walks). Experienced in administering medications, including injectables. I run with my dogs and would love to run with a client’s dog who is up for it! I’m also up for hikes, long walks, or just a slow stroll for my senior dog friends. Cannot accept client where I will need to use a shock collar, sorry. I work from home and have a lot of flexibility to be home or check in on animals. I love to walk and be outside, so if you pets enjoy sunbathing while I'm on zoom calls, they'll love my set up! I have a fully-fenced half acre yard and friendly animals. For drop ins and services in your home, I will follow your instructions to a tee!

About: As someone who regularly helps care for a German Shepherd-Husky mix, I’m comfortable with large energetic dogs and the responsibility that comes with them. My goal is to provide a stress-free experience for both pets and their owners by treating every dog as if they were my own. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and staying active. I make time for walks, playtime, feeding, and giving pets the attention they need. My schedule is flexible, and I do my best to accommodate each pet’s routine so they can feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I understand that every pet has different needs and personalities, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. I also respect my clients’ home and make sure everything is kept clean, secure, and exactly as they left it.

About: Hi! I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember, and animals have always been one of my biggest passions. I currently have two rescue dogs and a rescue kitten, so I am constantly surrounded by animals and am very familiar with the care, attention, and love they require. My dogs are apartment dogs with a small yard, so we average about 5–6 walks a day. Walking, playing with, and loving on animals are genuinely some of my favorite things to do. My mission is to provide the best care possible for your pet while also making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I have plenty of experience caring for puppies, kittens, elderly dogs and cats, administering medications, animal hygiene, and more. I am comfortable around animals of any size, color, or breed, and I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs. When I come to walk, play with, visit, or take care of your animals, I will dedicate my time to making sure they are happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I love being able to spend my time doing something I genuinely enjoy while giving other people peace of mind knowing their pets are being cared for. A little about my own pets: I have my Pittie, Bandit, who is 6 years old and a rescue. I also have Koda, my 3 month old Pitbull/German Shepherd mix who is also a rescue. Lastly, I have Loki, my 4 month old rescue kitten. They are my world, and I would treat your pets with that same love and care! I am a full-time online student at ASU, which means I am home most of the time and have very open availability. I am also very flexible and can often accept last-minute bookings I have a fenced in yard and two very friendly dogs! I also walk my dogs very frequently and don’t mind to add more to our walks. I have a large 2 bedroom apartment with plenty of space and beds for playing, sleeping, and zoomies!

“We found Sean to be very caring, professional and wonderful man. He took excellent care of our Silver lab, Boone. He took time to let us be a part of him introducing Boone to the other dog who was staying with him. He sent us photos and sent us updates. We will definitely be using Sean again when we travel. ❤️”

“I give Stephen and Angela 5 stars. They were very accommodating and answered all my questions. Since I was new to Rover I was worried about leaving my dog with someone I didn’t know but they made me feel comfortable. I would definitely use them again”

“Incredible care for Oakley. I highly recommend Elizabeth and Phillip. They have Aussie experience and it made whole stay much easier. Oakley fit right in and I appreciated their flexibly on his food and exercises!”

About: I have loved and cared for animals all my life. Most recently I began regularly fostering dogs with LMAS. I have fostered over a dozen dogs of all ages but I specialize with puppies. I focus on house and crate training with puppies and I enjoy multiple daily walks through my neighborhood park. I currently work from home from 9-5 and I am free on weekends. In my spare time I enjoy running and riding my bike. I believe in the more the merrier so if your pup is up to join I'm all for it! My home has a moderately sized fenced in backyard and a screened in patio that is very popular with my foster puppies. I enjoy house and crate training and I have had a lot of success through threshold training. I have a Siberian Husky and a Tabby Cat that get along with each other and they also love making new friends.
“Megan took great care of my dog and was great about sharing pictures and letting me know he was doing good while I was out of town. Sounded like he got along great with her dog as well. Definitely recommend her if you need someone to look after your dog.”

“Sarah helped with my dog Max for the first time this last week, when I was on an extended vacation. She is wonderful, and did a fantastic job caring for my pupper. Highly recommend”

“Angela made Sophie one of her family for over two weeks. She sent lots of pictures every day and it was obvious Sophie felt at home. We were afraid she might not want to come home.”

“Kaitlin was super patient with Fiona during her puppy teething phase and that takes a lot! She was also always super quick to respond and sent pics while I was away :)”

“Nissa took such wonderful care of our dogs! They had so much fun and I loved all the thoughtful updates while we were gone. I felt so much better knowing they were in great hands!”

“I seriously couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! Amanda sent us pictures and videos every day, which made being away from our boys so much easier. It was obvious they were having the best time and I honestly think they had just as much fun at her house as we did on vacation! We’re so thankful for everything she did while we were gone, and I wouldn’t hesitate to leave our dogs with her again. Highly, highly recommend!”

“I was a nervous wreck leaving our puppy for the first time and she made this whole experience absolutely wonderful. Sent lots of pictures and videos. Will definitely try to book with her in the future if possible.”
