About: I've had dogs, cats, and rabbits but have also cared for guinea pigs, turtles and fish. Caring for your pet the way you do is most important. I am available most days and times. My open availability leaves you with piece of mind knowing there's someone that can help any time of the day. I have a big yard and will be spending lots of time outside. Really big on taking hikes, and playing ball. Staying hydrated will also be priority.non smoker.

About: I've been around dogs since the day I was born. My Father was the K9 officer throughout middle school and high school so I learned how to train and handle dogs from watching and attending the police training programs. I've had dogs of my own for the last 17 years, and am currently a proud dog mom to an amazing 5 year old Sheltie and 9 year old Labrador, who get along very well with other dogs. I work from home, so I'm able to be around to monitor your pup while at my place constantly. If I do head out while sitting at my house, it's usually only for a few hours at a time and the dogs will remain separated. I have a fenced in back yard with plenty of rooms for the dogs to run, play and just be dogs. I'm adaptable to your dogs needs for food, sleep, and play time. I'm able to take the dogs on extended walks around the neighborhood, and also make sure they get ample exercise running around the back yard during their stay. Lots of pictures can be provided, as I know it's a comfort knowing your dog is loved when you're not around! :) I work from home so I have an incredibly flexible schedule and am always around. If I do leave the house, the dogs will be separated and never left alone together. For first time visitors, pets are slowly introduced to both my dogs and children. They are constantly monitored and will always have a set of eyeballs on them.

About: I've had dogs and cats in my house practically my entire life and have had the opportunity to watch friends' pets on multiple occasions. I have now been a part of the Rover Community for about 3 years. I am comfortable walking dogs, feeding and bathing and cleaning up after pets, as needed. I have a full-time job working 7 hours/day Monday-Friday so I am only available for weekend sitting services, unless your pet can be alone for long periods of time. Please feel free to reach out with any questions/concerns. I am available for house sitting, drop-ins, and dog walking in client's home after 3pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends. These would include potty breaks, feeding, walking and bathing client's pets as needed. I am willing to stay overnight as well. I can not watch pets at my own house as my own cat does not do well with other animals.

That experience taught me how important calm, structure, and consistency are in helping dogs feel more confident. I run Trail & Heel, a dog training and adventure-based care service in Louisville. I focus on practical, real-world training—whether that’s working with puppies, improving leash manners, or helping nervous dogs build confidence. Every walk and interaction is handled with intention. For me, care and training go hand in hand, with the goal of helping dogs become calmer, more reliable, and easier to live with. Caring for dogs is already part of my everyday life, so it fits naturally into my routine. I plan my schedule around the dogs I’m working with so I’m not rushing between visits. That means each dog gets calm, consistent attention and a much better experience overall. Care is always tailored to the dog and the service, but the approach stays consistent: calm, structured, and intentional. In a client’s home, I stick closely to their routine—feeding, potty breaks, exercise, and any specific instructions—while also reinforcing good habits like leash manners, calm greetings, and settling. In my home, I keep the environment structured and low-stress. Dogs get supervised time, appropriate exercise (including trail walks when it’s a good fit), and clear boundaries so they can relax and succeed. I only take on a small number of dogs at a time to make sure each one gets the attention they need.

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover who has owned a beagle, golden retriever, and most recently our beloved German shepherd. I’ve been dog sitting and walking for over 20 years and truly enjoy spending time outdoors with dogs. I treat every dog like my own and focus on keeping them safe, happy, and well exercised. I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to easily fit pet care into my daily routine. I enjoy getting outside for walks throughout the day, so caring for dogs fits naturally into my schedule. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow their usual routine as closely as possible so their pet feels comfortable and secure. About: I have taken care of animals since I was about 10 years old, I’ve been trusted with families as well as family, friends, and family to watch dogs. Ever since I was born, I’ve grown up with a yellow lab, and a Labradoodle, who I currently have still I’ve cared for dogs, my whole life, and understand the importance of finding someone who is reliable and trustworthy to watch your dog. I am a sophomore at the University of Kentucky and home for the summer. I have a Summer job that I work three times a week but I do not work all day, so watching your dog would be a simple task.
