About: I’ve loved animals my entire life and grew up at home with dogs and a cat, so caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. In high school I volunteered at a local animal shelter where I spent time socializing with both dogs and cats, helping them feel comfortable, playing with them, and giving them attention. I’m patient, attentive, and respectful of each pet’s unique personality and routine. I’m happy to help with feeding, walks, playtime, litter box cleaning, and keeping pets company while their owners are away. Pet care fits well into my weekly routine, and I enjoy making time to give pets the attention and care they deserve. I’m fully available on Tuesdays and have morning and evening availability on most weekdays. On Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays I’m generally available before 10 AM and after 4:30 PM. I’m typically unavailable on Saturdays, and on Sundays I’m available in the morning and later evening. I always do my best to be flexible when possible and communicate clearly with pet owners to make sure their pets receive consistent and reliable care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I follow the owner’s instructions closely for feeding, walks, playtime, and any specific care needs so pets can feel secure while their owner is away. I also make sure they get plenty of attention and companionship. I’m attentive to each pet’s personality and comfort level. About: I've been surrounded by dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, turtles, frogs and fish for 35+ years. I've raised, house-trained, walked, entertained and loved a variety of dogs and cats my entire life. I never get tired of these sweet creatures! I have experience with all dogs and cats, regardless of age, breed or temperament. As I'm now only working part-time providing early intervention services for children, and am self-employed, I have a great deal of flexibility to care for your dogs and cats. I'm available for drop-ins to feed, play with and care for your sweet pets as needed - throughout the day and night - as well as dog-walking, as it fits into your schedule. I've spent the last 20+ years working as a teacher and developmental therapist, educating children who have developmental delays and disabilities. Now, I've decided to focus additionally on my love of animals. Since I was a small child, I've adored pets, and have many years of experience caring for a variety of them. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve helped friends, family, and other families with pet sitting, drop in visits, walks, feeding, and playtime. I’m comfortable with puppies, senior pets, and pets that may need a little extra patience or attention. I’m also experienced with crating, basic commands, maintaining routines, and making sure pets get plenty of mental and physical stimulation.
