About: I’ve had dogs and cats all my life, I’ve taken care of them as I can remember. I started watching family members animals in 2015 and for some of their friends since 2016. I’m experienced with all kinds of dogs and cats. I am also experienced with watching multiple dogs and cats at once. I am currently available to take your pets on walks or do check ins any time before 2pm everyday, except Tuesdays. I’m available any time on Tuesdays! About: I adopted a rambunctious shelter cat 5 years ago. She’s a wild child with a big personality! And I took in a stray cat about 2 years ago, who needed lots of care, including surgeries, food insecurity behaviors, etc. I’ve cared for cats my entire life, but these 2 girls have taught me how to handle the extremes. I am very knowledgeable about cats and their needs, and I can promise you, your baby will be taken care of as if they were my own (aka like perfect princess angels that I’d go to war for) I work from home, so I can immediately take care of any and all needs. I frequently check on my 2 cats, and have no issue stepping away from my desk if needed. In my home: My 2 cats have their own bedroom, catered to their playtime and nap time. They have free rein of the house, and are very welcoming to other cats. They are up to date on vaccinations and vet care, and they do not go outside for their safety. In your home: I will treat your pet(s) as if they were my own, with kindness and patience. I will follow your routine. I will be sure to change my clothes and take off my shoes to avoid any anxiety from smells of my own pets.

About: As a child and young adult I grew up with a family dog and cat of my own. I know what the genuine bond and love feels like between an animal and their owner having experienced it myself. In addition, when I was younger I helped out on a family farm during the summers so I do have experience being around and working with different animals. I work as a teacher during the school calendar year but my schedule is completely free during our summer break. As such, I am mostly looking to provide pet care during the work week M-F but I am also willing to discuss weekend options if needed and if provided notice in advance. About: Let me ease your mind and bring comfort to your pets when you travel! I've been pet and house sitting for 20 years in the Pewee Valley / Louisville, Kentucky, area. I am great with dogs and cats. I have also taken care of chickens, rabbits and the like. I'm accustomed to watering plants, taking the trash out, and generally keeping a home safe and secure. While I am fairly new to Rover, I can provide references upon request. I also do house and pet sitting through Trusted Housesitters (I only mention that because I have 40+ 5-Star reviews with them ... I've included a couple of screenshots in my photos). I turned 67 in February, so your pets will get a lot of my undivided attention, especially if I'm house-sitting for you. I'm pretty much a homebody, though I do very much enjoy walking everyday, especially with canine friends! I will care for your pets in your home in a manner in which they are accustomed. I try to adapt my schedule and routine around theirs as much as possible. I have experience with elderly and special needs pets and can administer medications if needed.

About: I’ve always been known to have a dog by my side. They were my family and they came first. I cared for them through every stage of life - some adopted as puppies and others rescued in old age. I've trained puppies and administered medications. After loving and losing many dogs, I made a thoughtful decision not to adopt again. Now I devote my time, experience, and full-hearted attention to the daily care of other people’s dogs as I've always done for my own. My goal is to host one dog a day, maybe 2...(if the first parents agree and they enjoy each others' company). I am only available to house-sit (in your home) in special circumstances and if/when I have no daily doggies who require my attention. Advanced notice is required. I operate as a fully insured limited liability company and provide care in a calm, secure, and attentive home environment. I intentionally limit the number of pets I care for at one time so each animal receives my full focus, patience, and respect. My yard is fenced and I have no pets or children living here — just quiet space for your dog. I offer a "day camp," not a kennel. Dogs enjoy a fenced front porch and back yard with full furniture privileges. Dog TV and "Calming Music for Dogs" via Alexa are available throughout the stay.
