“Sandra exceeded our expectations by a mile! We have two 6 month old Golden Retriever puppies who are a lot of work and Sandra handled their care with ease! We received morning and evening updates with plenty of pictures to relieve our anxiety from leaving them. One of our puppies needed two daily medications and Sandra was very prompt with their med schedule. She provided daily walks and was always there to let them outside to run around and play and give them plenty of love. When we returned from our trip we had daily notes on what the boys were up to, any new behaviors or just new funny quirks they developed. We also were able to see the spreadsheets she brought verifying the walks and meals they were given. Our house was left very clean and tidy and so were the puppies! It’s not even a question, we will most definitely be using Sandra in the future!!”

As your pet sitter, my favorite job is keeping those unique stories going while you are away. I focus on overnight house sitting because let's face it, pets are happiest in their own beds and I can step into their normal routine. About: I’ve been around dogs since I was a child and have years of hands-on experience caring for them through different stages of life. I’ve helped care for Golden Retrievers from birth, giving me experience with puppies as well as adult and senior dogs. I currently have a rescue dog, Lucy, whom I’ve worked with extensively to build trust, confidence, and good manners. We run together daily, and through consistent training she has learned commands including sit, stay, shake, and other everyday manners. I typically start my day with a morning walk or run with my dog, and throughout the day I make plenty of time for walks, potty breaks, playtime, and attention. I understand how important consistency is for pets, so I’ll follow your dog’s normal feeding, walking, medication, and bedtime routine as closely as possible. Whether your dog loves long walks and playtime or would rather curl up and relax, I’m happy to adjust my day around their individual needs. I care for every pet as if they were my own while respecting the routine and instructions their owner provides. In a client’s home, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, receive regular potty breaks or walks, and get plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship. I’m also mindful of keeping their environment clean and secure. I understand that every pet has a different personality and comfort level, especially when meeting someone new. I take the time to let them become comfortable with me at their own pace and will follow any specific instructions regarding feeding, exercise, medications, training, or household routines. I’m also happy to provide regular photos and updates so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is safe and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I adopted a rambunctious shelter cat 5 years ago. She’s a wild child with a big personality! And I took in a stray cat about 2 years ago, who needed lots of care, including surgeries, food insecurity behaviors, etc. I’ve cared for cats my entire life, but these 2 girls have taught me how to handle the extremes. I am very knowledgeable about cats and their needs, and I can promise you, your baby will be taken care of as if they were my own (aka like perfect princess angels that I’d go to war for) I work from home, so I can immediately take care of any and all needs. I frequently check on my 2 cats, and have no issue stepping away from my desk if needed. In my home: My 2 cats have their own bedroom, catered to their playtime and nap time. They have free rein of the house, and are very welcoming to other cats. They are up to date on vaccinations and vet care, and they do not go outside for their safety. In your home: I will treat your pet(s) as if they were my own, with kindness and patience. I will follow your routine. I will be sure to change my clothes and take off my shoes to avoid any anxiety from smells of my own pets.

About: We had a dog for 17 years that passed away earlier this year at the age of 19 (able to care for a senior dog). He was adopted from Southern Indiana Animal Rescue. My son was in 3rd grade when we adopted him so we taught him how to take care of a pet. *Large fenced in backyard *Someone is always home *Dog walking included *One or more dogs from same family only at one time *Your pet(s) is priority Available weekdays and weekends. There is always someone at home that can let the dogs out. Walks after I get home from work in neighborhood or park. No other pets in the house currently. Only one family's dog(s)s at a time, no need to worry about them getting along with other pets. Your pet will be my top priority.
