“My dogs just completed 2 days of day care with Suzann, and have a 5 day stay coming up with her soon. I’m so nervous to leave my pups, but she has been amazing with communicating, taking the time to get to know us, and being so accommodating and kind. I’m so relieved I found her and I feel so much better about my upcoming trip!”

About: I’ve had my own dogs over the past 16 years. I began dog sitting for my cousin’s mixed breed dog when they took family trips. I then began to dog sit for several parents from a pre-school I used to work for. That journey began in 2017 and continues to this day. In the fall of 2022, I became a volunteer for Louisville Metro to take dogs on community field trips to help them get adopted. Simply put: I LOVE DOGS 🦮🐕‍🦺 I work from home with occasional travel. My availability is pretty flexible. Tuesdays require a lot of my attention on the computer, so this may not be the best day for your furry family if they are in need of great attention. Otherwise, I have the ability to build my work schedule and work in much needed love and attention for your fur baby. I can pet sit in your home but also have a fenced in backyard at my own house. If your dog is ok being around other dogs, I frequent the dog park bar off Baxter and love to take frequent walks in my neighborhood. If not, we can do a more quiet outing that suits your puppers needs.

She took great care of my house and I came home to a space that was cleaner than I left it! The best part of using Kristin was the abundance of pictures she sent me of Ivy and her dog Tater Tot playing and snuggling while I was gone. It made my dog mom heart at ease and happy.”

“Absolutely some of the best caretaking Charlie has had! Lori was great with Charlie. We met beforehand with her sweet pup to make sure the dogs would get along, and I really appreciated her thoroughness and quick communication. During his stay, Charlie got to run around and play with other dogs at her home and her family’s farm, but also had time to rest and relax. He was such a happy boy when we picked him up and slept the whole way home! 10/10 would recommend Lori!!”

About: I have had my own cats for 12 years. I had a dog for 12 years as well. I currently volunteer for a cat rescue out of Louisville, since April 2021. I love cats and dogs. I make my own schedule with my job so I will be available to take care of your pets needs throughout the day and evening time. I have a large backyard available for play. I have cats if your pet enjoys company, if not they have an entire room to themselves. I have 3 extra large crates available for use if your pet needs/prefers crate time. Since I do my own schedule, I only need about an hours notice to be available. This allows me to keep your pet care routine the same as it would be at home. I follow special pet instructions left by pet parents to create a unique experience for each pet and pet parent. This allows for a less stressful experience for the pet and allows me to provide the best care possible.

“Ruth has been caring for my schnauzer every time I vacation or need her to for three years, she has been amazing, Rufus has anxiety and doesn't like being alone and she creates a safe environment for him. They go on so many walks and her fur babies are just about the sweetest thing ever. She's highly detail-oriented so she's quick to check one very need your doggy might need and create a real home away from home!”

“Shelby was FANTASTIC with our Sherman. He was very nervous when we left him (he has separation anxiety). Not only did he seem to do well after we left (the pictures she sent us spoke volumes about his mood), but when i picked him up he was excited to see us as always but instead of running straight to the car and waiting at the door for us as he usually does when we pick him up from someone he did a couple of excited circles and had to run back to give one of Shelbys pups a kiss goodbye. He often stays with my sister and he loves her and her dogs but he never runs back to the door for any reason. He was so relaxed and clearly worn out feom playing so much. Shelby is terrific. You xan certainly entrust her qith the care of your fur-baby with confidence!”

About: I have had dogs my entire life. I currently have two, Miley (11.5) and Stanley (7.5) . Miley was part of a litter that we had from my parents' dog, Abby. I have experience with dogs from birth to 14 years old. I started house sitting about 14 years ago and have taken care of all different types of animals. I give medication when needed, take them for walks, take them to the dog park if wanted, or play with them in the yard. I can be very high energy or low energy, whatever your pet needs. I am very detail oriented as well so I will follow directions to the T! I love dogs of all kinds, am very responsible and will take great care of your precious fur babies! I’m currently not employed other than pet sitting so I have plenty of time for your pets! If your pet requires 24/7 care, I can provide it. I consistently provide a safe and easy going atmosphere wherever I am pet sitting! Let’s are always at ease and loved. Constant belly rubs and playful and loving attention are always given.
