About: I grew up with multiple pets, we often called it the "Cook Family Zoo". I've helped take care of many cats, dogs, turtles, fish and even ferrets at one point! I currently have two dogs a terrier/cattle dog mix and a German shepherd/lab mix puppy! They both are rescues and love to cuddle. About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a child, but have had my 3 cats for 13 years now. I recently moved, so I let them live with my mom sadly, I do miss them. Outside of my cats, I have helped walk and care for other dogs the past few years. If you give special instructions on how you would like for me to care for your dog/cat, I will do exactly that since I will be coming to your place and/or walking them. UPDATED AS OF 6/16/26- for now please refer to this update until life gets less busy. I have a 2 year old so I cannot watch your animals at your home at this current time, but I would still love to drop in and take care of them through the day or take them on walks. I can care for them at my home also. The hours listed below are still correct 😊 I work Monday-Friday until 3:30pm, but I can also come before work, take my lunch to let your pups out for a potty break half way through my shift! I always am off on the holidays. I do have every Saturday and Sunday completely free. After 3:30pm on the weekdays I have the entire day to spend with your animals :) I will follow all your instructions you give me for caring for your animals. I will always treat them like I would my own animals!

I lost my dog of 14 years in early 2026 and I'm channeling that love into caring for yours. Taking good care of your pet allows me to do something I truly enjoy while giving you peace of mind while you're away. I look forward to meeting you and your best friend! I am available full-time and every dog is unique, so you can expect that I will tailor each day to your pet's age, energy level, personality, exercise requirements, feeding schedule, and any special instructions you provide. Mornings will include an early morning potty break and outdoor time, breakfast according to your dog's normal feeding schedule, a walk, play session, or quiet outdoor exploration depending on your dog's preferences. There will be plenty of attention and companionship as the day begins. Throughout the day there will be multiple supervised outdoor breaks in the spacious yard and surrounding dog friendly areas. My goal is to maintain as much of your dog's normal routine as possible. During your pets stay your dog will enjoy exercise, companionship, and personalized care. Long walks and adventure or a relaxed day of lounging and affection await so your pet will feel right at home. For safety, dogs are always walked on leash. I am always happy to arrange a meet and greet, either in person or by video call, so you can feel completely comfortable before booking.
“Shelby was FANTASTIC with our Sherman. He was very nervous when we left him (he has separation anxiety). Not only did he seem to do well after we left (the pictures she sent us spoke volumes about his mood), but when i picked him up he was excited to see us as always but instead of running straight to the car and waiting at the door for us as he usually does when we pick him up from someone he did a couple of excited circles and had to run back to give one of Shelbys pups a kiss goodbye. He often stays with my sister and he loves her and her dogs but he never runs back to the door for any reason. He was so relaxed and clearly worn out feom playing so much. Shelby is terrific. You xan certainly entrust her qith the care of your fur-baby with confidence!”
About: I’ve been taking care of friends/family animals when they go out of town. I make sure that all the needs are met(potty/walks/playtime/cuddles). I’ve owned dogs and cats all my life. I work a 9-5 so I am available in the morning and the evening for overnight/daytime care. I also understand the importance of animal care. I make sure they are fed, walked, and are given play time. I enjoy hanging out with animals more than humans most of the time.

My current job is as a horse groom and I work at a barn which is pet friendly and with your permission I can take your pet to the barn and walk them for along time if the dog is hyper. I’m retired Registered Nurse so I’m home most of the day. So your dog’s care is a priority in my home I have one 50lb dog- Ollie. He is a loving fellow that gets frequent walks and plays fetch in the back fenced in yard. He loves other dogs so your dog will have plenty of fun active things to do & lots of snuggling. I have a 6 foot privacy fence around my back yard. Your and my dog will be safely walk on leash outside of the yard. In home dogs are allowed on furniture and bed if this is normal for your pet.

About: We love our fur baby and understand how important it is to make sure he’s cared for when we can’t take him with us on a trip or aren’t able to work from home and spend the day with him. My wife and I have been married for four years and we were thrilled when our living situation finally allowed us to welcome our pupper, Oliver into our home. He’s a sweet three year old hound mix that loves the companionship of other dogs. Our pet experience goes far beyond the past couple years because both of us grew up with family dogs. My family had several larger breeds while my wife’s family had smaller breeds. Since adopting Oliver we’ve realized how difficult it can be to find the kind of care we are comfortable with. Kennels can be pricey and the scheduled outdoor time and seemingly impersonal care made it hard to leave him. We love that Rover helps us find a good fit for our fluffy love. We want to be able to provide that for you and your doggo. I work from home and my wife is a stay at home mom, making it easy for us to provide your pup with the time and attention they need. We’d be happy to provide photo updates on how he or she is doing to help set your mind at ease during your dogs time with us.
About: I've cared for animals my entire life. Animals in my home are well loved; including baths if requested, exercise, and lots of play! I'm very accommodating. I work full-time from home, mostly on virtual meetings spread throughout the day. I'm up early each day and always ready for a nice walk! My yard is mostly fenced, but dogs would be kept on a leash for safety. Pets are welcome to sleep on any furniture. Food and water is available at all times in the kitchen.

Heather has experience with special needs dogs. We both work full time jobs but Alexis does not work on the weekends or over the summer. We always make sure your animals are top priority. We have a fenced in yard and four friendly dogs. We also have a house where we can split up animals if needed. We promise to provide the best care for your dogs like they were our own. Alexis currently works in the oldham county schools but has summers off. Heather works full time but is home in the evenings and the weekends. We always take care of the animals in our care at top notch. We treat your animals as they were our own. We offer many pictures, video chats, or any special request you may have. If I am watching animals in your home I will always make sure your home is exactly how you left it and clean.
About: I have watched other people's dogs several times in the past. One of the dogs required a twice daily insulin shot, which I am comfortable giving. I am comfortable with administering eye drops, too. I love to walk before I go to work in the morning, and always take my dog out with me! Unwinding after work with cute dogs is possibly the best therapy, also. I am clear with communication to the dogs. They only know how to do what we ask of them clearly! I love to work on basic commands & ensure discipline is a common theme among the dogs I handle. Don't get me wrong, play time is very important to me too! Seeing happy dogs is the most rewarding payment I could receive.
