Doggy Day Care in Charlestown

About: I've cared for animals my entire life. Animals in my home are well loved; including baths if requested, exercise, and lots of play! I'm very accommodating. I work full-time from home, mostly on virtual meetings spread throughout the day. I'm up early each day and always ready for a nice walk! My yard is mostly fenced, but dogs would be kept on a leash for safety. Pets are welcome to sleep on any furniture. Food and water is available at all times in the kitchen.

“Shelby was FANTASTIC with our Sherman. He was very nervous when we left him (he has separation anxiety). Not only did he seem to do well after we left (the pictures she sent us spoke volumes about his mood), but when i picked him up he was excited to see us as always but instead of running straight to the car and waiting at the door for us as he usually does when we pick him up from someone he did a couple of excited circles and had to run back to give one of Shelbys pups a kiss goodbye. He often stays with my sister and he loves her and her dogs but he never runs back to the door for any reason. He was so relaxed and clearly worn out feom playing so much. Shelby is terrific. You xan certainly entrust her qith the care of your fur-baby with confidence!”

About: I’ve been taking care of friends/family animals when they go out of town. I make sure that all the needs are met(potty/walks/playtime/cuddles). I’ve owned dogs and cats all my life. I work a 9-5 so I am available in the morning and the evening for overnight/daytime care. I also understand the importance of animal care. I make sure they are fed, walked, and are given play time. I enjoy hanging out with animals more than humans most of the time.

About: I've had dogs, cats, and rabbits but have also cared for guinea pigs, turtles and fish. Caring for your pet the way you do is most important. I am available most days and times. My open availability leaves you with piece of mind knowing there's someone that can help any time of the day. I have a big yard and will be spending lots of time outside. Really big on taking hikes, and playing ball. Staying hydrated will also be priority.non smoker.

About: I grew up around animals I used to have a schnauzer when I was a child and recently put her down which really hurt. I grew up around horses and dogs my whole life. My current job is as a horse groom and I work at a barn which is pet friendly and with your permission I can take your pet to the barn and walk them for along time if the dog is hyper. I’m very down to earth and just great with animals. Have lots of experience with animals and have no doubt that in a emergency I will respond correctly due to experience. You can trust your pet with me as so much has done before. I look forward to working with your pet and just enjoying them. I will treat your pet as if mine cause I know the joy of what it is to have a dog. I work a lot from home so I gave a lot of time to the animals in which I take care of. We love daily walks and have a farm we own in lexington which we go often to walk my mothers dogs or barbecuing! You can trust us with your furry friend! I have multiple years in experience around horses and dogs as well as cats. Growing up around event and jumper horses as well as administering first aid and proper care to all barn animals. We love nature and all of gods gifts to us.

About: Experience with dogs of all ages, sizes and temperaments. Have owned as many as 5 at one time, as well as fostering dogs, cats and kittens, including a special needs beagle with degenerative myelopathy (he had a cool wheelchair :) . I love them all and will care for them like they are my own. I will scratch and play and provide belly rubs on command. If I sit for your dog in my home, my cat, Frankie, will just roll her eyes and move on :) I am happy to work with the schedule you prefer for your furry kids, even if it's not the same as mine. I am currently working from home and available to have a furry office mate all day, they can even join my Zoom calls if they are into that sort of thing I have a fenced yard and a special “dog room” with toys a few different sized crates for when they need some space from my cat 😊.

About: I have always loved dogs ever since I was a little girl. I dog sit for a family friend anytime they need me. They continue to ask me to dog sit, so I would say that is a success. I will love your dog like they are one of my own. We will enjoy walks, play time and lots of cuddles. Our best friend is a vet so if any emergency situation should happen, we have an immediate resource. I am currently a stay at home mom so your pet would have lots of attention of activity throughout their stay with us. We have plenty of time and energy for walks and playing outside. Pets that come to our home will be treated like our own. They will get daily activity, walks and outside play. They can easily be crated if that's what they are used to.

“Absolutely some of the best caretaking Charlie has had! Lori was great with Charlie. We met beforehand with her sweet pup to make sure the dogs would get along, and I really appreciated her thoroughness and quick communication. During his stay, Charlie got to run around and play with other dogs at her home and her family’s farm, but also had time to rest and relax. He was such a happy boy when we picked him up and slept the whole way home! 10/10 would recommend Lori!!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life with most being rescues. I volunteered in care & fund raising for an Animal Rescue League. Dogs are the most amazing creatures. I’m retired Registered Nurse so I’m home most of the day. So your dog’s care is a priority in my home I have one 50lb dog- Ollie. He is a loving fellow that gets frequent walks and plays fetch in the back fenced in yard. He loves other dogs so your dog will have plenty of fun active things to do & lots of snuggling. I have a 6 foot privacy fence around my back yard. Your and my dog will be safely walk on leash outside of the yard. In home dogs are allowed on furniture and bed if this is normal for your pet.

About: I’ve had pugs for over a decade and a French bulldog briefly. I’ve sat for my friends and cousins corgis, golden retrievers and Boston terriers. Love the snores, the drools, and cuddling with them. Dogs are always welcome on my furniture and in the bed. I enjoy pampering them with belly rubs, butt scratches, massages and just goofing around with them. I work different jobs and at times have flexible schedule. Also I work close to my home so it’s easy for me to come home and check on the guest doggies at home if needed. I stay in a condo building and I can walk them (on leash) around the condo. My condo complex has a nice walking path for dog walks and it is a fairly quiet with very little traffic. Plenty of green space around. I have a small fenced in private yard too.

About: I have had many different animals growing up from cats and dogs to gerbils and frogs! I raised and trained my current pup since he was 9 weeks old. I also have a kitty. I am happy to help care for your fur babies whether they’re potty training, seniors, or have medical needs. Sadly, I cannot have yours pets at my place currently but I am eager to take care of them at your home! I offer: 1. Lots of love, cuddle & attention for your animal(s) 2. Drop in visits 3. Dog walking/running 4. Dog training 3. Dog bathing (if they allow) 5. Care for any animal you have 6. No maximum # of animals 7. Special attention to your animal’s needs I have all the time in the world right now! Waiting to hear back on a job. So I can check on your babies up to 3 or so times a day. I prefer to not walk/check in before 8am if possible :) I have a 107lb dog so don’t be worried, I can handle your big doggo if you have one! I will walk them as far or short or as long as you prefer for them. I always bring water for them, pick up poop to be considerate to neighbors, and bring treats if training. If your animal is dangerous or suspicious of strangers please let me know and I can try to do my best to work with them to help them trust me.
