About: I'm Sean, a lifelong dog lover offering boarding and in a safe, comfortable, home based environment. For more than 25 years, dogs have been an important part of my life. I've always shared my home with one or two dogs of my own, giving me extensive hands on experience caring for puppies and elder dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. As a self-employed professional who works from home, I can provide plenty of attention, supervision, companionship, and outdoor time throughout the day. Your dog won't be left alone for long periods and will enjoy a welcoming, family oriented environment where they will feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Being four-pawed pet free since March 2026, I've realized just how much joy, companionship, and energy dogs bring into a home. Caring for your pet allows me to continue doing something I genuinely enjoy while giving your dog a home away from home and giving you peace of mind while you're away. I look forward to meeting you and your best friend! I am available full-time and every dog is unique, so you can expect that I will tailor each day to your pet's age, energy level, personality, exercise requirements, feeding schedule, and any special instructions you provide. Mornings will include an early morning potty break and outdoor time, breakfast according to your dog's normal feeding schedule, a walk, play session, or quiet outdoor exploration depending on your dog's preferences. There will be plenty of attention and companionship as the day begins. Throughout the day there will be multiple supervised outdoor breaks in the spacious yard and surrounding dog friendly areas. This will include long walks, short walks, play sessions, or relaxation time based on your dog's needs. Fresh water will be available at all times. There will be frequent interaction, supervision, and companionship since I work from home and there will also be comfortable indoor rest periods between activities. Afternoons and evenings will include additional outdoor exercise and activities, dinner according to your dog's established routine, relaxation time indoors with plenty of attention and affection, evening potty breaks and if necessary a walk before bedtime. Individualized care is important for your dog's well being, so before your dog's stay, I will learn about feeding schedules and dietary restrictions, medication requirements, favorite activities and exercise preferences, commands and training cues your dog responds to, sleeping habits and comfort needs and any special routines that will help your dog feel at home. My goal is to maintain as much of your dog's normal routine as possible and provide a safe, comfortable, attentive environment where your dog can enjoy exercise, companionship, and personalized care. Whether your dog loves long walks and adventure or prefers a relaxed day of lounging and affection, their stay will be tailored to help them feel right at home. One of the unique advantages of staying here is the abundance of safe outdoor space available just steps from the door. Dogs have access to multiple walking environments, including a spacious backyard, peaceful green spaces, a scenic Ohio River promenade, and quiet, low traffic roads surrounded by natural scenery. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, leisurely sniffing adventures, or simply relaxing outdoors, there are plenty of opportunities for exercise, enrichment, and exploration throughout the day. For safety, dogs are walked on leash unless specific off leash activities have been discussed in advance and are appropriate for a well trained dog with reliable recall. Any off leash exercise is considered carefully and only with owner approval. Inside the home, dogs enjoy a comfortable, crate free environment unless crating is specifically requested by the owner. Large living areas with dog accessible windows and a secure outdoor deck provide additional space to relax, observe the outdoors, and enjoy fresh air between activities. I am always happy to arrange a meet and greet, either in person or by video call, so you can feel completely comfortable before booking.

“Shelby was FANTASTIC with our Sherman. He was very nervous when we left him (he has separation anxiety). Not only did he seem to do well after we left (the pictures she sent us spoke volumes about his mood), but when i picked him up he was excited to see us as always but instead of running straight to the car and waiting at the door for us as he usually does when we pick him up from someone he did a couple of excited circles and had to run back to give one of Shelbys pups a kiss goodbye. He often stays with my sister and he loves her and her dogs but he never runs back to the door for any reason. He was so relaxed and clearly worn out feom playing so much. Shelby is terrific. You xan certainly entrust her qith the care of your fur-baby with confidence!”

About: I have animals of all kinds growing up! From a mountain lion, up to 7 dogs to reptiles! I have been exposed to it all and things rarely phase me! I work remotely so I am free almost all the time with a lot of flexibility for all your needs! I can work from anywhere so it is around your schedule and preference for the most part. When watching pets in a clients home I will follow their care guide and ask any questions as they come up! I will also thoroughly clean up any messes the pets may make in the home.

About: I've cared for animals my entire life. Animals in my home are well loved; including baths if requested, exercise, and lots of play! I'm very accommodating. I work full-time from home, mostly on virtual meetings spread throughout the day. I'm up early each day and always ready for a nice walk! My yard is mostly fenced, but dogs would be kept on a leash for safety. Pets are welcome to sleep on any furniture. Food and water is available at all times in the kitchen.

About: I've had dogs, cats, and rabbits but have also cared for guinea pigs, turtles and fish. Caring for your pet the way you do is most important. I am available most days and times. My open availability leaves you with piece of mind knowing there's someone that can help any time of the day. I have a big yard and will be spending lots of time outside. Really big on taking hikes, and playing ball. Staying hydrated will also be priority.non smoker.

About: I would be willing to watch your dog in my home that I share with my wife, Mellisa and sons Nate, 13 and Nolan, 11 and our 9 year old cat, Mango. We have owned pups for most of our lives We live on an acre in a dog friendly neighborhood in La Grange. About: I grew up around animals I used to have a schnauzer when I was a child and recently put her down which really hurt. I grew up around horses and dogs my whole life. My current job is as a horse groom and I work at a barn which is pet friendly and with your permission I can take your pet to the barn and walk them for along time if the dog is hyper. I’m very down to earth and just great with animals. Have lots of experience with animals and have no doubt that in a emergency I will respond correctly due to experience. You can trust your pet with me as so much has done before. I look forward to working with your pet and just enjoying them. I will treat your pet as if mine cause I know the joy of what it is to have a dog. I work a lot from home so I gave a lot of time to the animals in which I take care of. We love daily walks and have a farm we own in lexington which we go often to walk my mothers dogs or barbecuing! You can trust us with your furry friend! I have multiple years in experience around horses and dogs as well as cats. Growing up around event and jumper horses as well as administering first aid and proper care to all barn animals. We love nature and all of gods gifts to us.

About: I’ve been taking care of friends/family animals when they go out of town. I make sure that all the needs are met(potty/walks/playtime/cuddles). I’ve owned dogs and cats all my life. I work a 9-5 so I am available in the morning and the evening for overnight/daytime care. I also understand the importance of animal care. I make sure they are fed, walked, and are given play time. I enjoy hanging out with animals more than humans most of the time.
