About: For the past three years, I've provided dog and house sitting services for families through personal referrals. Caring for someone's pet means caring for a member of their family, and I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is for your dog to feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I love pups. I love getting to know each dog's unique personality, energy level, and routine. Whether a dog enjoys long walks, active playtime, quiet companionship, or plenty of affection, I adapt my care to their individual needs. I have experience caring for dogs in their own homes and maintaining their normal schedules so they feel comfortable and secure. In addition to my dog-sitting experience, I volunteered at a dog shelter on the Greek island of Andros, where I helped care for 26 dogs of different ages and temperaments. I have a flexible schedule these days, I currently work remotely so I can spend plenty of time with your pet, adapt to their routine and provide them with consistent care and attention. I am available for daytime visits, overnight stays, weekends, and extended pet-sitting arrangements. Safety and trust are top priorities for me. I make sure dogs are securely leashed on walks, supervise their outdoor time, and pay attention to changes in behavior, appetite, or energy levels. I keep owners updated with regular messages and photos so they can feel confident that their pet is well cared for. When staying in a client's home, I treat both the home and the pet with respect. My goal is to maintaining the dogs' routines and environment to help them feel safe, relaxed, and loved.
About: My wife and I have been married over 20 years and 17 of those have been with multiple dogs in our house. We are dog-less at the moment, but would love to give your dog the love we have all of ours for so many years. I work full time from home and my wife is a professor, so we have a lot of time at home. Our son is 2, and absolutely adores dogs Whatever the owner needs us to do for the dog, we are happy to. Snuggles, walks, potty and regular feeding schedule is always on the docket
“This was my first time using Rover, and Lauran made the entire experience so easy and stress-free. She kept me updated daily with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. She truly went above and beyond when any issues came up. I would absolutely book with her again!”

“Madi was extremely responsive, respectful, and accountable. She helped me in a pinch and was flexible when it came to my sometimes unpredictable travel schedule. I appreciate all Madi did and I would recommend to anyone looking for somebody to help care for their pet.”

“Athena came through for us in a pinch. She is so communicative, attentive, and we truly lucked out in finding her. Our three dogs absolutely adore her. She sent videos and pictures that let us know that our dogs were in the best hands.”
About: I’ve always had animals in the house, multiple dogs at once. I have 2 dogs of my own to keep your pups entertained while you’re away! I have a fenced in yard to let your pup run wild! I am a dog trainer so if there are any problems behaviors (potty/crate training, barking, jumping, Etc.) we can begin to work on those while you’re away! I have a cat in the home, however she’s got a baby gated portion of the house to take a break from the doggy chaos! I currently have staggered schedule so your pup shouldn’t be alone for more than 4 to 6 hours at a time! There will be plenty of opportunities for potty breaks and play time! I believe dogs need physical and mental stimulation during a “stressful period” (aka, you’re on vacation!) and we have plenty of means to do just that!

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and genuinely love caring for animals of all personalities and energy levels. I grew up with both a Labrador Retriever and a German Shepherd, and I now have a 1 year old German Shepherd of my own, so I’m very comfortable handling large, active dogs. I also helped my mom with her pet sitting business growing up, which gave me experience with feeding routines, walks, playtime, and making pets feel comfortable while their owners are away. During college, I volunteered at the local humane society, where I worked with dogs of different temperaments and backgrounds. A few years ago, I even rescued a husky I found running along the road and helped get him to safety. I’m patient, attentive, and understand how important it is to treat every pet like family. I am currently working part-time, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I am available before 7am and after 11am on weekdays. While I do not offer boarding at my home, I will happily look after your pets at yours. I make sure to keep a dog-friendly environment, build trust with your pets, and stay prepared for any unexpected emergency’s.
About: I've taken care of many dogs since I was a child. I have two dogs and two cats of my own and I've taken care of my neighbors pets. I have a flexible schedule as I'm working on a portfolio to be a tattoo artist and I will be available as much as possible. I'm a reliable conscientious person who has a great love for animals. I care about safety above all else and will do everything in my power to make your pet feel happy and loved.
About: Hey! I’m Mandy, and I absolutely adore taking care of dogs! I am e-collar trained, and have worked with reactives, independents, and special needs dogs! I’m comfortable with big and small! From Rottweilers to Frenchies, I have experience with just about any breed! I’m more than happy to help with walks, overnight stays, medication, and anything else your pup might need! I’m currently doing this on the side for the love of it! I’d love to work you into my schedule! Just say the word and I will do my best to help you out! I’ll do my best to follow up with what you think is best for your pup! Whether it’s cuddles on the couch or a long walk, I want to accommodate what will make your pup the happiest, in a calm and nurturing environment. A dog that feels safe, is a dog that feels most loved!
“Jake is very professional and kind. I trusted him as soon as I met him. Knowing he was taking care of our dogs, let me fully enjoy my time away. Thanks Jake! We’ll be hiring you again.”

“This is my second time using Daniel. Both times he was great and felt comfortable with him taking care of my cat. Would recommend. I will definitely use him again in the future.”

“I’ve been having Meilin do drop ins with my old puppet, Zoe, for 3 ish now and Meilin has been such a pleasure to work with! They communicate any issues or concerns about Zoe with me quickly and the couple times they were running later or earlier they let me know. I know Zoe can be a lot sometimes and I appreciate that I never had to worry about her when Meilin was watching her. I highly recommend booking Meilin for all your pet sitting needs especially if you have a senior doggo!! 💚”

“Very happy with Breanna's drop in visits! She sent lots of pictures and detailed updates. The house was very clean even where my cats eat and love making a mess. Will definitely request future visits with her!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Louisville
We are so lucky to have found Desiree! She took exceptional care of our dogs and went above and beyond to make sure they were happy and comfortable. She was patient, caring, and an excellent communicator, keeping us updated throughout our trip. We had complete peace of mind knowing our dogs were in such capable and loving hands.

Magdalana went above and beyond! She followed all instructions perfectly, communicated very well, and showed a great amount of care during every visit. Our adopted dog Pepper is a bit tricky and sometimes reactive. We usually board her at her vet but they were at capacity. Pepper took to Magdalana immediately and looked like she was having a great time in all the pics we sent.

Madi was extremely responsive, respectful, and accountable. She helped me in a pinch and was flexible when it came to my sometimes unpredictable travel schedule. I appreciate all Madi did and I would recommend to anyone looking for somebody to help care for their pet.

Ryan was so helpful with our dog and two cats. Our regular pet sitter had to cancel last minute and Ryan really stepped up and helped us out so much. He even gave our cat medicine so he could feel his best while we’re gone. We will definitely be rebooking with Ryan sometime soon!

First time Rover user - and boy am I glad I booked with Becca. Becca was absolutely wonderful for Walker’s first Rover stay! From the start, her communication was excellent, which made the whole experience so easy and stress-free. Knowing Walker was in such good hands gave me total peace of mind. You can tell she genuinely cares and treats the animals she watches like her own. The best part was getting pictures of Walker in the middle of my workday — it completely made my day and reassured me that he was happy, comfortable, and having a great time.I’m so grateful for the care she gave him and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. Highly recommend Becca to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and attentive!

Jessica did a fantastic job taking care of our dogs while we were away. One dog is nervous around new people and pretty much anybody who isn’t us, and that in turn makes our other dog anxious as well. Jessica was gentle, resourceful, and creative in managing them and their drop-in visits. She also communicated well with us, so we felt our dogs were safe and in good hands. Thank you!

Jules is the best pet sitter I’ve had since I’ve been using Rover. She checked in on my old girly 3 times a week for me for 4 weeks while our schedules lined up. She was super attentive to Zoe and let me know anytime there was something that may have been wrong or slightly off. I always felt super comfortable knowing Jules was checking in on Zoe for me because I felt it was obvious she truly cared. I also appreciate that Jules was super patient with me with some of my last minute schedule changes I had. I’m gonna miss having her checking in on my girly.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
