Pet care fits naturally into my schedule. I work a regular Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. job in the St. Matthews/Lyndon area and live in the Highlands, so I'm available for walks and drop-in visits during my lunch break as well as every weekday evening after 5:00 p.m. I also have availability most weekends for walks, drop-in visits, and extended care. I have a reliable car, which allows me to be flexible and dependable when traveling to clients' homes. I'm committed to keeping a consistent schedule and communicating clearly so you can feel confident your pet will receive the care they need when you need it.

I'll follow your instructions closely for feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and any other specific needs to help your pet feel comfortable and secure while you're away. I believe communication is important, so I'll provide updates and photos throughout each visit so you know how your pet is doing. Whether your pet is energetic and loves to play or prefers a quiet companion, I'll adjust my care to match their personality and comfort level. Safety is always my top priority. I'll make sure your pet is secure on walks, has fresh water, receives plenty of attention, and is treated with the same care and respect I'd give my own pet. It's also helpful to know how they interact with other people, dogs, or animals, as well as any fears, anxieties, or behaviors I should be aware of. Please let me know about any medical conditions, medications, allergies, or mobility limitations, along with your veterinarian's information and emergency contact. I'd also appreciate knowing any commands your pet responds to, any house rules you'd like me to follow, and anything that helps your pet feel comfortable and happy. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can provide a safe, fun, and stress-free experience for both you and your pet.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I like to tailor activities to what they enjoy most. For energetic dogs, that might mean neighborhood walks, games of fetch, tug-of-war, or plenty of playtime to help them burn off energy. For more laid-back pets, I'm just as happy to spend time giving belly rubs, brushing, cuddling, or relaxing together. I also enjoy using simple enrichment activities, like puzzle toys (if provided), practicing basic commands your pet already knows, or letting them safely explore new scents on their walks. My goal is to make sure your pet has fun, gets the exercise and attention they need, and feels happy and comfortable until you return.
