Your dog gets supervised attention all day, long outdoor walks, in a friendly and fun environment for dogs of any age, breed or size. I lost my dog of 14 years in early 2026 and I'm channeling that love into caring for yours. Taking good care of your pet allows me to do something I truly enjoy while giving you peace of mind while you're away. I look forward to meeting you and your best friend! I am available full-time and every dog is unique, so you can expect that I will tailor each day to your pet's age, energy level, personality, exercise requirements, feeding schedule, and any special instructions you provide. Mornings will include an early morning potty break and outdoor time, breakfast according to your dog's normal feeding schedule, a walk, play session, or quiet outdoor exploration depending on your dog's preferences. There will be plenty of attention and companionship as the day begins. Throughout the day there will be multiple supervised outdoor breaks in the spacious yard and surrounding dog friendly areas. This will include long walks, short walks, play sessions, or relaxation time based on your dog's needs. Fresh water will be available at all times. There will be frequent interaction, supervision, and companionship since I work from home and there will also be comfortable indoor rest periods between activities. Individualized care is important for your dog's well being, so before your dog's stay, I will learn about feeding schedules and dietary restrictions, medication requirements, favorite activities and exercise preferences, commands and training cues your dog responds to, sleeping habits and comfort needs and any special routines that will help your dog feel at home. My goal is to maintain as much of your dog's normal routine as possible. During your pets stay your dog will enjoy exercise, companionship, and personalized care. Long walks and adventure or a relaxed day of lounging and affection await so your pet will feel right at home. For safety, dogs are always walked on leash. About: I had dogs and cats in my house my entire childhood. I helped feed them and walk them, gave them medications and played with them. I’ve even given a rowdy Doberman eye drops 😅 long story short, since moving away, I’m looking to have more pets in my life. Not only did he seem to do well after we left (the pictures she sent us spoke volumes about his mood), but when i picked him up he was excited to see us as always but instead of running straight to the car and waiting at the door for us as he usually does when we pick him up from someone he did a couple of excited circles and had to run back to give one of Shelbys pups a kiss goodbye. About: I have helped raise a bottle fed kitten and cared for a senior beagle in his last year. I care for and adopt mostly adult dogs, but I haven't met one I don't like! I work from home, so my schedule is flexible to fit in lots of home visits with overnight stay possible! I have my own dog that goes out 3 times a day already, so fitting in pet care is a breeze! I have an apartment with 2 bedrooms where dogs can sleep separate from my own dog. My complex is very dog friendly with all pets on leash, and large areas to sniff and poop as well as a park & track in walking distance.

I've raised, house-trained, walked, entertained and loved a variety of dogs and cats my entire life. I never get tired of these sweet creatures! I have a special soft spot for dogs and cats, friends and family have trusted me to care for their furry family members while they’re away. I have hands-on experience with senior dogs, including administering medication with patience and care. I work full time but on weekends I’m free any time to walk or stay overnight with your 4 legged family members. I've spent years working hands-on with animals of all sizes, species, temperaments, and health needs. As Operations Director at the Terre Haute Humane Society, I worked directly alongside veterinarians to implement shelter medicine protocols and quality of life standards, giving me informal vet tech experience that most pet sitters simply don't have. I'm comfortable medicating dogs and cats, administering treatments, bathing, trimming nails, and supporting animals through illness and recovery. I bring a broad working knowledge of both pharmaceutical and natural health interventions, and I'm deeply familiar with navigating complex health needs, from post-surgical recovery to chronic illness management. For over five years, I fostered dogs through the Terre Haute Humane Society, including puppies and adults with serious behavioral challenges, dogs who were facing euthanasia due to behavioral issues, and severely ill animals, including parvo puppies, which requires intensive, around-the-clock care and a steady nervous system. Safety and trust are not afterthoughts in how I care for animals. They are the foundation. In my home, my environment is calm, intentional, and animal-centered. I do not rush introductions. I allow animals to acclimate on their own terms, reading their body language carefully before asking anything of them. I was so relieved to know he was getting the same amount (if not more haha!) of attention, love, and activity as we give him. She took him on long walks, played with him at the park, gave him extra treats, and even bathed him when he got a little dirty playing outside. “Grace was great. Having one dog with health issues we were comforted with her professional experience. We had some major personal complications (including the one dog having to be put to sleep) and she was willing to work through the issues that came up. Grace was very understanding of the situation, and had then had to deal with a now anxious dog who just lost her partner and had to go alone to someone she didn't know. Grace made her feel at home. We were very satisfied with Grace and her pet accommodations. We would definitely use her again.”
