When we needed a sitter last minute on vacation Emily came to the rescue and was one of the best dog sitters we have ever had. Emily sent pictures through the day, followed all our care instructions and loved our baby like we do.

Andy did a great job helping Nate feel at home. Nate got snacks he likes and outside breaks that were on his schedule. Andy sent a lot of updates with pictures. Besides the cute pictures, Andy sent me a picture that showed Nate feeling relaxed. Frankly, I was glad Nate still wanted to come home! Andy understands dogs, has an appreciation for the variety of normal dog behavior, and really does love dogs. His daughter also really loves dogs. Although I found Andy through Rover, a mutual friend confirmed that he’s a dog lover and would trust him with her dogs. Knowing that we had mutual friends was literally an answer to prayer. I would definitely trust this family with Nate again.

Great experience! I was recommended by a friend and I will say I am so glad I trusted her to leave my baby with her! She sent so many pictures and gave me updates while I was traveling! Definitely helped ease my nerves. I’ve never left my girl behind. I know my baby had a great time and the fact that she got to socialize and meet other dogs was even better! Thank you so much Ann!

About: My family has had dogs since before I was born. We have had labs, mutts, pitbulls, and any other breed the humane society found for us. We are a family of foster fails, but have so much love for our furry found family. One of our pitbulls at home is a certified therapy dog thanks to countless hours my sister spent at trainings (and I happened to also attend because she needed a ride). I am also lucky enough to have a personal dog-trainer on call if needed, and I have had my fair share of experiences with giving dogs any medications they may need. I am excited to give your pet the love and attention they deserve while you get the time off that you deserve. I have dog-sat for puppy and senior St. Bernard’s as well as sheep dogs, little dogs, and every dog in-between. I am unemployed, so I have plenty of hours in the day to care for your furry friend. I just graduated college with a bachelors in Biology, and am taking a gap year before starting up vet school. When I am not pet-sitting, I am volunteering at Lexington humane society. So my schedule is flexible and I am more than happy to work around what you and your pet need. I have a fenced back yard that I like to let the dogs play in. I’ll usually take the dogs on a walk in the morning and then the evening. In between, if the dog is up to it, we’ll spend some time outside maybe throwing a ball or favorite toy. I usually ask that the owner gets a list together for their dog’s daily schedule, so I can keep the dog’s life as normal and comfortable as possible. The list I ask for usually includes what time meals are, when the dogs go out, how often you want them exercising, what meds are needed, how long you’ll need me, etc. It all just depends on what you as the owner are looking for.

Kelsey was awesome with my Great Dane zeke. He usually has a rough time at boarders when he’s in a crate and won’t eat, drink etc. Kelsey went above and beyond to make sure my big guy was taken care of and comfortable. He went on walks, car rides and even had a heated mattress cover on him.he is worn out.i would use her again and advise anyone to use her. She will go above and beyond to make sure your pets are comfortable.

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats for many years and have experience pet sitting for multiple families, including drop-in visits and overnight care. I’ve cared for cats regularly over several years, watched dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals of all kinds. I also volunteer through Doggy Day Out at the shelter, where I help walk and socialize dogs, and I grew up with a family dog, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I enjoy walks, playtime, cuddles, and making sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. I have experience incorporating caregiving and pet care into my daily routine and enjoy creating consistent schedules for feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and companionship. I am organized, dependable, and make it a priority to ensure pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. My schedule allows me to provide regular walks, check-ins, enrichment, and quality time, and I always work to follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel at home. I spend a lot of time at home and have a flexible schedule, allowing me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, and consistency throughout the week. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routines as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and reduce stress. I make sure pets have fresh water, are fed on schedule, and receive plenty of attention, enrichment, playtime, and companionship. I prioritize safety by keeping doors and outdoor areas secure, being attentive during walks and potty breaks, and cleaning litter boxes as needed. I also provide updates and photos so owners feel informed, reassured, and connected while away.

We were unable to fly home after the Caribbean air space was shut down and Megan kept Sophie even longer until we returned. We appreciated it so much. We will definitely book with Megan again!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
