Besides the cute pictures, Andy sent me a picture that showed Nate feeling relaxed. Frankly, I was glad Nate still wanted to come home! Andy understands dogs, has an appreciation for the variety of normal dog behavior, and really does love dogs. His daughter also really loves dogs. Although I found Andy through Rover, a mutual friend confirmed that he’s a dog lover and would trust him with her dogs. Knowing that we had mutual friends was literally an answer to prayer. I would definitely trust this family with Nate again.”

Our dog is 13, and along with having natural old-dog things, she has multiple chronic conditions that require a special diet and medicine. Therefore, I am admittedly a bit particular about who watches her when we leave town. I’m happy to say Ashley was an answer to prayer and put all of my nerves at rest! She’s simultaneously an easy-going and detail-oriented sitter. She was willing to do a meet and greet before the stay; flexible with drop off/pickup; sent me multiple updates and photos during the stay; took our sweet girl on so many fun adventures; and followed her medical routine perfectly. Our original booking cancelled on us three hours before dropping our dog due to a family emergency, and I was frantically looking for a sitter because I had paid for a hotel and it was an important event for us.
