About: I’ve owned dogs and cats since I was a kid my family loves animals. I dog sit for family friends and have taken care of animals as veterinarian tech. I’m currently a student at UK and take a mix of online and short in person classes. My schedule is pretty relaxed as I don’t have classes everyday of the week. When I do have class I’m home a lot between classes and have time to check on animals every 2 hours. I live near campus so I can take your pet on walks around campus or to the park. I live in a pet free and smoke free apartment and can easily crate your pet if needed.

About: I’ve owned multiple disabled dogs and can care for them. I’m also experienced in giving medicine to animals that may need it. grew up around a lot of different animals and I love spending time with new animals and seeing all the different dog and cat breeds. 😁 I stay at home and my schedule is very flexible, so the fur babies will get plenty of attention and love! About: When I was around four, I started to go across the street and cat-sit for this empty-nest couple. They were older, and so they wanted to travel more. The lady owned two cats, a Birman and an Oriental Shorthair. The lady used to take them to cat shows, and they were her most prized possession. They used to say, "Maggie, you are so convenient, and I am glad that you are here so we can leave and do things that we love more often." My mom never once told me to go and do my job. I woke up and was ready to go see Bootsy and Bella. They moved when I was 16, and I was their sitter until the day they left. I realized that for people to do the things they loved, they needed an easy, stress-free, and affordable sitter for their animals. Anyway, I started a show kennel for my Italian Greyhounds because of her, and now this is my full-time gig. I run a full-time boarding and daycare facility at my house. I am open for boarding and daycare 7 days a week. I own show dogs, and so I am home training and working on my websites while the dogs have multiple areas and an outdoor fenced area to play. I work on my computer for 3-5 hours a day and play with and walk the dogs while I rotate in between that. I take lots of pictures during the day and have an instagram that I post them on. The dogs rotate among the kitchen, the basement, and the outdoor enclosure. All dogs have access to water 24/7. The outdoor enclosure has a roof, and I run a fan when it is hot, in accordance with USDA guidelines. If the weather is bad, I walk the dogs or just let them play together in the basement or kitchen.

Virginia was absolutely amazing with our dog Moby. To start, we had to book extremely last minute because our other dog sitter cancelled. Virginia was accommodating and welcoming! She was also very communicative from the time of booking regarding drop off, expectations, etc. Then we get to her house, she has an amazing yard! She had toys for Moby to play with. Finally, we left him with her and received several updates! (More than I sometimes get when we have a dog sitter for a whole weekend which brought me so much relief and joy because I had updates on Moby’s status the entire time. I knew when he relaxed, when he ate, about his walk, etc. I loved it!) I would 100% schedule with Virginia again because of the care, communication, and consideration she had.
