About: I’ve taken care of all different dogs and work well with all different sizes. I own a Golden Retriever and have worked with Saint Bernards, Great Danes, and a lot more so I know how to handle very energetic and the lazy ones too haha. I have watched family and friends dogs and cats and have given them baths, taken them for walks, give them supplements (if needed), feed, play, brush. Anything you need! I love all animals and will take care of your furry family member! I just graduated from University of Kentucky and working part time at a local farm so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I currently I’m living in an apartment and have a dog that is also high energy and needs lots of walks. We have many trails, paths, and dog parks nearby that we always walk to.

About: My name is Vivi (she/her)! I have been watching, sitting and walking dogs for over four years. I have a keen sense of animal personality and behaviour and have always enjoyed being around them. I've been known by many as *the* dog whisperer--you're in excellent hands here! I live with my friends downtown, but return to my parents house for dog care. Someone's always home for bookings. I work on my own projects between interacting with dogs, and I can take a break at any time. I have a karate class on Mondays and Thursdays, during which I hand off work to one of my parents for just a bit. Your pets are always in good hands here! I believe in being careful with pets and that they should be comfortable with their environment. The best interactions come from mutual trust between pet and caretaker.

About: I have had dogs and cats in my life for over 50 years. I was so lucky to grow up in a home that was the local Noah’s Arc. This childhood formed my commitment and love to animals. About 20 years ago, I decided to enter the world of pure bred dogs and have been an avid exhibitor and breeder of Pointers and Ridgebacks focused always on good temperaments and health. I love dogs and really believe it’s important that each animal I care for, feels at home, comfortable, pampered, exercised and loved. I have 4 dogs that are super casual and it has been very easy to bring animals into my home. I will only take 1 or 2 dogs at a time, as I want to be able to provide the best care possible for them. Your animals are treated as though they are mine and the care and love they will experience can only be exceeded by you. It’s always stressful for animals to be away from their families, so the more I can do to relieve this stress, the better I feel. I always tease my clients that their dogs may come home a little spoiled. I’m very much available all day really to take care of the dogs as my schedule is very flexible. In addition my brother lives with me and he helps me take care of the dogs. There is always a person at our house while your dog will be visiting. I also offer a military discount for those that have or are serving our beautiful country. I do not work outside of the home, which provides me with a lot of flexibility to provide dedicated care to your pets all day. I think it's important dogs that stay at my house receive the same amount of attention as they would at home and as my dogs do. I also believe it's important not to disrupt their daily routine, so I work closely with owners to understand each Dog needs.

I think dogs and most animals know when they meet you if you like them. Like people each pet has its own personality, likes, dislikes. I've been able to develop a trusting relationship with pets simply because they know I care about them . Our place offers large, immaculate private suites that are quiet, Each room offers automatic water bowls, tv, music , kuranda beds, and separate outdoor ( under roof) concrete run. Dogs also experience the large grassy play area twice daily . Your pets receive daily petting, conversation which is important. Our heated floors keep paws cozy in fall and winter and air-condition throughout summer. Safe and pampered is our goal. I'm retired so I have time to care for your pet. My schedule is flexible for drop offs and pick ups. We have an excellent exercise area, totally fenced and secure. Agility area includes a great play area. We have our personal pets, some young, some seniors. Our boarding is excellent. We provide clean, beautiful private suites for all guests. Automatic water bowls provide constant fresh water. The rooms are well lit and cheerful with off the floor kuranda beds. Tv and music in each room provides comfort and activity. Pets are fed twice daily ( pup parent provides food). Exercise is available in each suites covered outdoor area. And plenty of run room is available 3 times daily in our large 6ft fenced area Snuggle time is important too and we make special time for it Our goal is to provide a loving and safe environment with a positive, calm experience for each pet. Bonded pairs are allowed to room together. It's a vacation they will love! Daily day care while you work is available also.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats my whole life. I foster and volunteer and love it. I have the sweetest pup named Sadie who loves all people and animals. I do work part time and have the option to let them out several times a day after working hours. They usually sleep with me at night unless they have another preference. About: We are not your average sitter! Parents who wish for their dogs to have fun in a safe and controlled way please read on! If your 4 legged friend stays with me, not only will they be treated like the family pack, we will be busy doing fun things. Don’t leave your dog somewhere locked up in a strangers house wondering when you will come back! They hate that! We can have field trips to different hiking locations/ parks around Lexington, lots of fun activities involving food (yum!) and you bet there will be an overload of pictures to share! Challenging dogs, active dogs, and everything in between are welcome! *Bathes with many shampoo options available as well as a blow dry. Fees apply **I offer free pick up and drop offs (although anyone is welcome to do so themselves) within 20 miles of Nicholasville** About this sitter: I have been working with dogs (and other animals) since 2011 in various capacities so your dog will be in well capable hands. The last 3 years I have been training dogs in California and have completed 2 prestigious courses for dog trainers. I have fostered many dogs from the animal shelter so I have learned how to help dogs smoothly adjust into new environments. My other favorite hobby aside from working with dogs are training with my own dogs, horseback riding, and hiking with friends and their pooches in large packs. About my yard We have a large yard with the house situated in the middle. It is unfenced but no one goes off leash (long line) until there is a better understanding of the dog and their habits. There is a flowing creek and dam on the property as well as plenty of space to run around. Your dogs will never want to leave! My experience administering medication Yes, I have administered medications orally, and through injections. The mornings are for potty time followed by breakfast if applicable. After food is digested and the human is ready, we will venture out for the day for a walk, hike, or playtime. I am only caring for pets in my home currently, but I will care for any guest with respect and also keep them entertained. I have all needed supplies but special bedding is allowed to bring with their stay.
