About: When I was around four, I started to go across the street and cat-sit for this empty-nest couple. They were older, and so they wanted to travel more. The lady owned two cats, a Birman and an Oriental Shorthair. The lady used to take them to cat shows, and they were her most prized possession. They had grandkids to see and wanted to explore as many different countries as they could. They used to say, "Maggie, you are so convenient, and I am glad that you are here so we can leave and do things that we love more often." My mom never once told me to go and do my job. I woke up and was ready to go see Bootsy and Bella. They moved when I was 16, and I was their sitter until the day they left. I realized that for people to do the things they loved, they needed an easy, stress-free, and affordable sitter for their animals. Anyway, I started a show kennel for my Italian Greyhounds because of her, and now this is my full-time gig. I run a full-time boarding and daycare facility at my house. I am open for boarding and daycare 7 days a week. I own show dogs, and so I am home training and working on my websites while the dogs have multiple areas and an outdoor fenced area to play. I work on my computer for 3-5 hours a day and play with and walk the dogs while I rotate in between that. I take lots of pictures during the day and have an instagram that I post them on. The dogs rotate among the kitchen, the basement, and the outdoor enclosure. All dogs have access to water 24/7. The outdoor enclosure has a roof, and I run a fan when it is hot, in accordance with USDA guidelines. If the weather is bad, I walk the dogs or just let them play together in the basement or kitchen.

About: We came across the Cavapoo breed as our loving Rottweiler was on his journey to his “better place”. We chose the Cavapoo breed as our furry rainbow puppy to help us all with the tough loss. Fast fwd 5 years, and WOW, still can’t believe the journey that was created for us. Dog breeding, training, boarding and grooming just the way I would want my pups taken care of…in a home. Our setup is ready for all stages of dogs and of course, personalities. This is a small family business and we make pet care fit seamlessly into our lives. We’re a party of 4 and all hands are always on deck. 4:00 am wake up call during the week and 6:00 am on weekends. Caring for pets in our home can consist of taking your pets normal routine that’s already established and following it. Help keep your animal on a schedule of food timing to crate or bedroom boarding. We live in a neighborhood with a 6 foot privacy fenced in back yard. A 3,000 gallon Koi pond surrounded by 800 square feet of deck. Nice plush outdoor furniture for the dogs to lounge next to the pond after a drink. We have also built a 200 square foot doggie palace on our property. Full electricity with heating/air and additional ceiling fan. Great for rainy days or dogs who are lone rangers and/or feisty.

I've been dog and cat sitting off and on for the past 8 years, and I've been working in barns and caring for horses for 12. Today, I'm lucky enough to have a dog and cat of my own, so I understand how important it is to have someone you truly trust caring for your pets while you're away. I have a bachelor's degree in Equine Science, with Animal Science as one of my three minors. Through my education and years of hands-on experience, I've developed a strong understanding of animal care, behavior, health, and daily management across a variety of animals. I have experience caring for senior pets, anxious and reactive animals, and animals with additional medical needs. I'm comfortable administering medications and following detailed care instructions to ensure each pet receives the care they need. Whether your pet wants to go on a long walk or hike, play their favorite games, or simply curl up on the couch, I'm happy to meet them where they are. I care about getting to know each pet’s personality and routine, so they feel comfortable and happy while you’re away. About: I’ve had dogs in my home since I was 9 years old, from 2 month old puppies to senior dogs, and taking care of them has been the best part of my day! I like to focus on mental stimulation as well as physical with dogs so they have a sound mind and body. I’m familiar with crate training, and puppy care, including a solid understanding of training the basics. I’m used to energetic and fast-paced dogs but I love my older and more mellow dogs as well! I’ve pet sat my fair share of cats and feel comfortable with them too. My Australian shepherd and I just moved out to Lexington recently, but I’m excited to offer my services now including recurring dog walking :) let me know if you have any questions for me! I am a flight student so that is my biggest time commitment which is 4 hours 3-4x a week. I know my schedule far out and can adjust my other responsibilities such as coursework and caring for my own dog and any other that may be in my care. I am never gone for too long and making sure the dogs are doing well is a priority that’s extremely important to me. If there is a yard, that will be utilized to the fullest, but I will take full advantage of what the neighborhood has to offer for fun walks/providing sufficient daily stimulation for the dog. I’m always respectful of the home and the routine the dog had prior to their person being gone. I’m super communicative, especially if things happen that are out of the ordinary, but also when things are normal so you’ll won’t have to wonder too much how your baby is doing!

About: Hi! I’m a 19 year old college student at The University of Kentucky who absolutely loves dogs and would be so happy to help take care of yours! I have two dogs of my own that are my best friends and I treat them as family. I’ve helped friends and family take care of their dogs my whole life! I already love walking and having a buddy to bring with me would be amazing! I currently live in an apartment but there’s plenty of grass to walk around on and i’m very open to going to dog parks, a trail, or anywhere they would want to go! For anyone interested in boarding, your dog is welcome to go on any furniture and cuddle with me in my bed if they’re allowed! I will treat your dogs as if they were my own and i’m excited to hear from you! I am a college student and do have classes but i’m totally available any day and time besides 1pm-4pm Tuesdays-Thursdays! I can walk your dog multiple times a day if needed around those times! For boarding I have a roommate who also loves dogs and we have opposite class schedules so one of us will always be home! I’m only gone for 2 hours during the day Tuesday-Thursday! I’m also happy to bring your dog anywhere with me if that’s what they’re used to! I’m able to follow any instructions based on your dog’s needs and am happy to help! I’m very trustworthy and will treat your dog as if they’re my own. Since I live in an apartment i’m happy to take your dog on walks frequently if they’re staying overnight with me and will give them absolutely all my attention!
