Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine because my schedule is highly flexible! Whether I am hanging out with cats or walking dogs, my open availability allows me to easily match your pet's established routine. I can accommodate early morning feedings, mid-day potty breaks, high-energy afternoon play, or late-night cuddles. Because I am so adaptable, I can quickly adjust to whatever timeline your pets need to stay happy, comfortable, and stress-free Whether at my home or yours, I focus on safety and mimicking your pet's normal routine. In your home, I strictly follow your rules, keep litter boxes pristine, walk dogs on their usual routes, and secure your property. In my home, I provide a fully pet-proofed, welcoming environment where cats and dogs get dedicated attention, structured playtime, and their own safe spaces to rest comfortably.
About: I have always loved animals! Booking with me will include a wonderful fun and safe day for your furry with tons of pictures and updates for you to see! I want to make any experience as smooth as possible for you and your furry friend and am more than happy to figure out details that make you feel comfortable! I have 3 years of child care experience and have helped with many pets! Growing up I was my grandmas #1 dog sitter when it came to her two Rottweilers. Anything from picking up poop and refilling the water bowl I was there to help! I am currently a college student that is in Lexington for the school year! My days are flexible and open to you and your pets needs! I love early morning walks and midday tug-of-war with your pets! If you have random hours for work or are gone all day, I can be helpful! I care for your pets with love and care! I know when pavement is too hot to walk, and the signs for a pet that needs to get back inside and hydrate! I do not have a home with crates or a fence, but I am willing to help out however I can!

“It was such a relief knowing my precious fur child was being cared for by someone competent and experienced. About: Hi, I'm Brooke! I'm a recent UofL grad and love meeting new furry friends! I grew up with both cats and dogs, and began caring for neighbors’ pets at 10 years old. Since then, I’ve had years of experience with house sitting, daily walks, and drop-in visits for neighbors and family friends, often working through word of mouth and personal recommendations. I’ve worked as both a stay-in pet sitter and a weekly dog walker, and I love making sure animals feel safe, loved, and well-cared for. I have experience caring for puppies, kittens, high-energy animals, and senior pets with special needs, and am comfortable adapting to a wide range of temperaments and energy levels. What sets me apart is my reliability, communication, and attention to care when it comes to treating animals with the patience, love, and respect they need.🩷 I am currently on my gap year between undergraduate and medical school, so pet care will be my full time job! I am able to stay the majority of the day at client's homes if needed, but may need to step out for an hour or two to get food and/or groceries for my stay. Feel free to discuss your pet's schedule with me, and we can figure out a plan that works for everyone! I always try to meet with the family before sitting or dropping-in so that I understand how any pets are used to their home feeling. I will follow all instructions left by the owners, and try to keep a loving and clean environment for the animals. I also try to be very communicative with owners about any questions or concerns, and will gladly provide daily pictures/videos of animals to the owners. I also love playing with animals and making sure they get enough activity so they can get some fresh air and love! Additionally, I am a pre-medical student and have many hours of emergency experience with basic life support (BLS) and have taken a veterinary BLS course. I know how to administer CPR and perform the Heimlich maneuver on cats and dogs. I also have experience administering injected medication and subcutaneous fluids to cats and dogs. (I do not have experience administering care to additional animals at this time.) I also look up the closest veterinary ER prior to a stay, and am prepared to drive any animals in case of an emergency.
“Tiffany was great in looking after our boy-cats. The photos were great. We appreciated her communication, daily updates and her overall work quality. Highly recommended.”

“Caitlin was great with our pup! She communicated ahead of time and made sure Shadow was taken care of. She was intentional with playing with him and providing us updates. Will be using her in the future!”

“Ashtin & Jenison are awesome! This is my second time booking with them to watch my cat, Duchess. I always get lots of photos and Duchess looks very happy. They even brought in a laser toy for her! They helped me out with last minute requests and also with two extensions on my last visit. They are super friendly and helpful, and seem to genuinely enjoy spending time with my cat. i will definitely book with them again!”

“Taylor did a fantastic job with our small dog Percy! Percy can be very territorial and slow to warm up to people but she was able to win him over and become friends with him while we were away. She is kind, super responsive and you can count on her to do a great job with your pet. I highly recommend Taylor!”

“Katherine was communicative while I was away, and I came back to a very happy cat! I felt completely at ease knowing she was taking care of Chevy.”

Jessica did a great job at watching my two cats! I’m always super anxious when we have to leave our cats for intended periods of time, but Jessica did a great job keeping an open and clear line of communication about what she was doing each day. Also, she took the most adorable pictures of my cats obviously having fun! Will definitely be rebooking for our future care needs.

Sara is always a blessing when I need her. She is always detailed and makes sure my senior cat is good. I’ve been worrying more about him lately as he continues to get older, but I don’t worry as much when she looks after him. She always is able to implement the new stuff I need to do for him as he gets older as well.

Ariel did an amazing job as always taking care of my 2 cats. I have used her multiple times for drop in visits while I am out of town. She does a great job at following instructions and communicating. Will definitely use her again when I need a sitter in the future!

Addelynn was great watching my cats, and would definitely recommend her! Super easy communication to schedule and coordinate keys with her. She took care of both my cats & sent updates and photos for my peace of mind while I was away. It seems like she already became close friends with my cat Ricky who was purring in her lap after only 2 visits, which makes having to be away even easier <3

Kate was awesome with our sweet little senior kitty Chai! Chai needs a lot of special care right now and Kate skillfully managed everything. Chai is usually not happy to meet new people, but she liked Kate right away! I’m so glad to have someone to call on when Chai needs care in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
