I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, so caring for them has always been a natural part of my day-to-day life. I also have experience caring for and walking friends’ dogs and am excited to expand that experience by helping more local dog owners! I’m active and love being outdoors, so I’m happy to provide anything from a relaxed walk to a more active walk or run for dogs who need extra exercise. I understand that every dog has a different personality, energy level, and routine, and I’ll make sure their time with me is safe, fun, and tailored to what they need. I’ll treat your dog with the same care and attention I’d want for my own!

I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I will follow all instructions and routines provided, including feeding, walks, medications if needed, and any specific household rules. For walks and runs, I’ll always prioritize your dog’s safety by keeping them securely leashed, paying attention to their surroundings, and adjusting the pace and distance based on their age, energy level, and needs. I’ll also provide updates so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

Lucy has always loved animals and even as a child treated our farm animals (cows, sheep, dogs, horses). She is attentive not only to their physical needs, but psychological too. She especially loves dogs, and goes the extra mile to make sure they are groomed and well taken care of.

Schedule
I’m a full-time student and also work part-time, but my schedule varies throughout the week, which gives me flexibility for pet care! I have availability on different mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends depending on the day. I’m happy to work with you to find times that fit both your schedule and your dog’s routine.

- Before caring for your pet, I’d love to know a little about their personality, normal routine, energy level, and any special needs. Please let me know about any medical concerns, medications, allergies, behavioral tendencies, or triggers I should be aware of. For walks and runs, it’s especially helpful to know how they behave on a leash, around other dogs and people, and how much exercise they’re accustomed to. I want to make sure every visit is safe, comfortable, and enjoyable for your pet!
