About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my strong attention to detail and the level of care and communication I provide. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and specific needs so they feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. I’m experienced with both puppies who need consistency and positive reinforcement, as well as senior pets who may require extra patience, monitoring, or medication. I prioritize clear, ongoing communication by regularly checking in with owners, sending updates and photos, and making sure they feel confident about how their pets are doing. I’m also happy to help with small errands, such as picking up pet supplies or essentials, to make time away as stress-free as possible. I treat every pet as if they were my own and every home with care and respect. Not scared of dirty work, cleaning litter boxes, wiping paws and administering meds. I currently work from home part time and have a flexible schedule. So I I have a lot of flexibility, for overnights and dropping by during the day. I provide pet care exclusively in the client’s home, allowing pets to remain comfortable in their familiar environment. I carefully follow the owner’s instructions regarding feeding schedules, dietary needs, exercise, and daily routines. Care includes providing fresh water, playtime, walks if needed, companionship, and administering medications as directed. I also maintain cleanliness by cleaning litter boxes, cages, and pet areas, and I ensure the home is left tidy and secure after each visit. I prioritize the pet’s safety, comfort, and emotional well-being while providing regular updates to owners for peace of mind.

On the weekend I can babysit them and spend much more time with them as I dont have work. I do have a fenced yard but it's not super tall most larger dogs could jump it if they wanted to most likely. I would supervise your dog the whole time they are outside though and if you prefer them on a leash I can walk them in my neighborhood.

About: Although I’m new to Rover, I’ve had the opportunity to care for dogs through family and personal experience! I’ve pet sat for my brother’s four large dogs in his home, making sure they were fed, exercised, given plenty of attention, and kept on their normal routine while he was away. My sister recently adopted a puppy and I puppy sit him overnight every other weekend as well, I help potty train and with socializing him. I once had a senior dog of my own who was truly part of my family. Caring for a senior pet taught me patience, compassion, and the importance of paying close attention to a dog’s comfort, health, and individual needs. I understand that every pet has a unique personality, and I strive to make them feel safe, loved, and stress-free while their owners are away. I look forward to treating every dog in my care as if they were my own and providing regular updates so pet parents can have peace of mind. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work as a full-time Lyft driver, which gives me a very flexible schedule. Since I create my own hours, I’m able to adjust my availability to meet the needs of each pet and their owner. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday drop-ins, evening care, overnight stays, or last-minute requests, I can easily structure my schedule to provide dependable, attentive care. I understand that every pet has their own routine, and I strive to be as accommodating as possible to help them stay comfortable and maintain their normal schedule while you’re away. I provide a safe, loving, and attentive environment where pets are treated like family. I live in a spacious four-bedroom condo-style apartment with access to a fenced-in dog park, giving dogs a secure place to play, exercise, and enjoy the outdoors. When caring for pets in my home, I do my best to keep them on their usual routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any special instructions provided by their owner. When I’ve cared for my siblings’ dogs, they’ve slept in bed with me (if that’s what they’re used to), and I bring them with me whenever it’s appropriate so they’re rarely left alone. I enjoy having them by my side and giving them plenty of love, attention, and companionship. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect both the pet’s routine and the owner’s home. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Bardstown
Julia and I had some communication issues but we resolved them and it was a learning experience for her as she is just starting out with Rover. She was very communicative and the pets were well cared for. I’ve used Rover a few times in the past, and as a reminder to all pet owners, I’d leave a note with specific instructions bc our note for feeding instructions was misread. A simple mistake, and Julia made it right.

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
