About: We came across the Cavapoo breed as our loving Rottweiler was on his journey to his “better place”. We chose the Cavapoo breed as our furry rainbow puppy to help us all with the tough loss. Fast fwd 5 years, and WOW, still can’t believe the journey that was created for us. Dog breeding, training, boarding and grooming just the way I would want my pups taken care of…in a home. Our setup is ready for all stages of dogs and of course, personalities. This is a small family business and we make pet care fit seamlessly into our lives. We’re a party of 4 and all hands are always on deck. 4:00 am wake up call during the week and 6:00 am on weekends. Caring for pets in our home can consist of taking your pets normal routine that’s already established and following it. Help keep your animal on a schedule of food timing to crate or bedroom boarding. We live in a neighborhood with a 6 foot privacy fenced in back yard. A 3,000 gallon Koi pond surrounded by 800 square feet of deck. Nice plush outdoor furniture for the dogs to lounge next to the pond after a drink. We have also built a 200 square foot doggie palace on our property. Full electricity with heating/air and additional ceiling fan. Great for rainy days or dogs who are lone rangers and/or feisty.

About: ‼️I TAKE VENMO/CASHAPP TO AVOID ROVER FEES‼️ I have cared for dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments for many years, helping neighbors, friends, and family with walking, feeding, bathing, playtime, and overnight care. I am comfortable handling energetic puppies, shy pets, and senior animals that need extra patience and attention. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, and relaxed while their owners are away. As a college student with a flexible schedule, I am available most weekdays and weekends for walks, drop-ins, and boarding. I plan my day around the pets I care for so they receive consistent attention, regular potty breaks, exercise, and plenty of playtime. I am also able to accommodate early morning, evening, and last-minute requests when needed. I provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment where animals are always supervised and treated like part of the family. I carefully follow each owner’s feeding schedules, medication instructions, and routines to keep pets comfortable. During walks and visits, I prioritize safety by using secure leashes, monitoring surroundings, and giving pets the patience and care they deserve.

About: I've had at least four dogs as long as I can remember. As a child, they were my first companions and my second caretakers. Even as I grew into an adult, they were always there to comfort me and to brighten the darkest of days. Dogs hold a very special place in my heart and I am eager to give back what they so willingly give; love, acceptance, understanding, comfort, and joy. In the last two years, I have gone from four dogs to one, due to Cancer and Congestive Heart Failure, and I must admit that their absence has affected me deeply. I miss them so so so much!! I'm one of those people that celebrated their dog's birthdays and bought them copious presents for Christmas. While my friends were pulling out their family pics, I was always pulling out my dog pics. I share this same sentiment towards birds, rabbits, and cats; all of which I had growing up. Being surrounded by animals as a child was a great experience. It even prompted me to volunteer at the ASPCA for almost a year. As I hope you can tell, I will not only provide what your pet needs to survive, but I will also provide him/her with special attention and love. I look forward to meeting with both you and your pet! Until then, take care! I will be able to fulfill any house/pet sitting duties without any issues, as I am able to balance my obligations responsibly and with respect to myself and those that hire me. While pet/house sitting, I will abide the rules given to me. This could include when they play, where they sleep, any medications needed, when to eat, etc.

About: I've had pets all of my life both cats and dogs and I love them they are my happiness. Ive only ever watched my families pets so far but I have taken care of animals that need medications or special diets. I currently work full time so most of my availability will be the weekend but on weekdays I can take dogs out for a walk or if you prefer I have a backyard they can play in but my fence is short. On the weekend I can babysit them and spend much more time with them as I dont have work. I do have a fenced yard but it's not super tall most larger dogs could jump it if they wanted to most likely. I would supervise your dog the whole time they are outside though and if you prefer them on a leash I can walk them in my neighborhood.

About: I have several years of experience caring for dogs of different sizes and personalities. I’ve helped my friend with everything from daily walks to overnight stays, and I always make sure each dog feels safe, happy, and understood. I’m patient with shy dogs, gentle with seniors, and playful with energetic pups. I follow feeding schedules closely, keep routines consistent, and make sure every dog gets plenty of exercise, bathroom breaks, and attention. Whether it’s a calm walk, fetch in the yard, or quiet cuddle time, I adjust to whatever your dog needs. I also provide frequent photo and video updates so you can feel connected while you’re away. Your dog will be cared for with love, respect, and the same attention I would give my own. I’m currently a graduate student with a very flexible schedule. I spend most of my time at home, so I’m able to check in on pets frequently and keep their routine consistent. I’m available for drop-ins, walks, and house sitting throughout the week, including evenings and weekends. Your pet will get plenty of attention, playtime, and care every day. I take safety very seriously and always follow your instructions exactly—whether it’s feeding, litter care, medication, or keeping doors secured. I’m calm, patient, and respectful of each pet’s space, especially shy or anxious animals. In your home, I make sure everything stays clean and comfortable, and I send frequent photo updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I treat every pet with the same care and kindness I give my own.

About: I have taken care of my own current dog, Mack, since I was 12. I've had several other family dogs in the past that I have helped raise and train as well, I've taken care of other people's animals before, and I have always truly loved all animals. ❤️ I love to walk dogs, or cats! I can also bathe, feed, and make sure your pet has the best care. I am currently available to take care of your pet when I do have my days off, I will start substitute teaching soon so this could potentially affect my daytime availability. I have worked part-time at Petsense and I currently work at Tractor Supply, but I will work around my schedule at any point to try and help you with your fur babies! Personally, I treat my dog like he is my baby because he's part of my family. I love him very much and love to sit and play with him, give him snuggles, and take him with me on walks because I simply love being in the presence of animals. They make me so happy, and I do what I can to make sure your animals are happy and taken care of too. They deserve it!

About: My name is Allie, and I’m a 31 year RN (and may or may not have missed my calling as a vet haha). Don’t get me wrong, I love caring for humans, but my real passion lies in caring for animals. I would love to devote some of my free time to caring for and loving on your furry family member! I am offering all services from dog walking, house visits, house sitting at your house, and am even open to accepting cats! I have two mini golden doodles of my own that I care for, but no worries- they would not need to be brought over to your space for any reason. I have experience working in pet stores throughout college, and also grew up caring for our family’s dogs from a young age! I have experience administering medicine for epileptic animals as one of my dogs at home has seizures. Feel free to ask me for my phone number. I can’t wait to get the opportunity to help you out with your fur babies!! I have a pretty open and flexible schedule. I only work 3 days a week so can devote any of my off days to your pets! I respect your home environment and ensure that I leave your home in the exact condition I found it in. I will also ensure the safety of your home in terms of locking doors, enabling security cameras/alarms, etc.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Salvisa stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Salvisa choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Salvisa with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Salvisa. On Rover:

  • 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
