“Ashley is the best! She was very patient and loving with Bluey and was in constant communication with me and went above and beyond. I will definitely book her again! 10/10 service!”

“Casey was great watching my two cats while I was gone for over a week! Very easy communication and she sent me so many photos which was great for my peace of mind. My cats warmed up to her so quickly and the photos she was sending me cuddling with the boys made me know my cats were well taken care of while I was away. I’d recommend Casey to anyone looking for someone to watch their pet while they are away, thanks Casey!”

“100% above and beyond!! Due to the hiccups of moving into a new house, my spouse latched all the security latches on the doors that we gave Allie the key to. So when she got to our house (and we had already flown hundreds of miles), she was unable to get in. We called a locksmith and Allie met them at our house so they could get her in. We were so grateful because otherwise we would have had to cancel our entire trip (business trip for a course). In addition, our critters were on their worst behavior including peeing and pooping in the kennels. Allie spent extra time with them since we figured they must have been stressing out, between the move, having the house “broken into,” and us being gone. She definitely treated our critters like her own! Definitely would use her services again in the future! Thanks Allie, you’re a rockstar!!!!!!!”

“Kristen did a great job for us. We contacted her at the last moment, she came to our house without a pre-booking visit, and our dog adjusted very quickly to her without ever meeting her. Kristen was punctual and followed our instructions. Overall, a great experience with Kristen.”

About: I’ve always been around dogs. I’ve dog sat over the years in multiple ways: I’ve done drop in visits to people’s houses, I’ve stayed the night, and I’ve had them in my home. I have a very friendly Aussiedoodle of my own who both loves to play and nap when we’re not home. I work as a teacher at Lexington Christian Academy so I get home in the afternoons around 4pm. I usually take my dog to the dog park around 5 when it’s nice out so she can play. When I pet sit, I can take your pets to parks or walk them in your neighborhood in the evenings. While I don’t have a fenced in yard, I live 5 minutes away from the Great Crossing dog park in Georgetown and can take them there to play with other dogs, or walk them around the track. I have a 4 year old friendly aussiedoodle who also loves to play and be outside who can keep your fur baby company.
About: Hello! My name is Lauren and I have taken care of many different types of animals since I was 13. I have had dogs, cats, and horses that I have cared for, so I am very comfortable and knowledgeable about animals. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and house sit their pets. I also worked at an animal hospital boarding facility, so I have a lot of experience handling different breeds, administering medication, and any special needs that your pet may require. I currently have a two year old beagle that I care for. I am able to adhere to any regiment you set forth, such as long walks or exercising requirements. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask! I'm currently working full-time hybrid schedule and have a flexible schedule that allows me to be readily available to care for your dog. I can bring your dogs into my house (must get along with other dogs) or come to you. I live in an apartment with a large dog park and enjoy taking dogs for walks, so there would be plenty of opportunities for exercise!
“Got pictures of all my critters (including ones not required) and hung out with them. Included information on an animal I didn’t ask her to check on which means the world to me! I know all of my animals had eyes on them and I love knowing that they were well cared for.”

I currently live with Max, a beagle rescue. I mostly work from home so will be with your dog all day. I can come whenever I am off and communicate that with you and do whatever is needed for you and your pet ! I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life , and that really persuaded me to be the Licensed Vet tech I am today. I love being around animals and I care deeply for them no matter to what extent ! I also can’t have a dog where i am living now so kind of get the best of both worlds getting to bond with your pet :)

I'm comfortable and experienced in giving pets medicine or injection if need be, and I'm willing to adapt to whatever needs your pets may have.

About: I have always had dogs and cats in my life. I have cared for senior animals when it got more difficult and puppies that needed round-the-clock care. I’ve also been trusted by family, neighbors, and friends to care for their homes and pets while they were away. I’m a recent college grad and have not yet found employment, so my schedule is wide open! I will be available Monday through Sunday at all hours. I do not offer boarding in my home, however I can supervise multiple dogs at once, walk dogs, follow specific feeding instructions, and respect the boundaries of your cat. I can also work with security systems and keep your home safe and neat.

I dog sit on the side because I love it! I am open to caring for the dog however the owner needs me to! I am willing to take them to a park, give meds, go on walks, etc.
“Sade did an amazing job! She was response and sent updates/pictures daily. She even took out our trash and brought in our mail (I made sure to pay her extra for this). I will definitely be contacting Sade the next time I need a pet sitter!”

“Lynn was very sweet to our cat Bubba. She made sure to engage him each visit and was very thorough in preparing his snack and probiotic. She sent great updates for us everyday. We will for sure book her again!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Georgetown with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
