About: I grew up riding horses and having small dogs around the house, so caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I've been dog and cat sitting off and on for the past 8 years, and I've been working in barns and caring for horses for 12. I’m currently a full time college student with a part time job, but I can fit your needs into my schedule! I am available for early morning and afternoon dog walks, overnight weekday cat stays, and mid-day check-ins on your beloved animals. Message me if my times work for you. I live in a non smoking apartment that is very pet friendly, with plenty of room for a cat. When it comes to dog walking, I take the utmost safety precautions and would love to walk them within your own neighborhood, as my downtown neighborhood is not very amenable to dog walks.

While I have a generic routine, I like to know the pets usual routine so I can cater to that as much as is possible. I have a small fenced yard, but most importantly, my apartment is set up with pet safety in mind. I have gates and latches to prevent accidental runners, my cat has her own space to keep away from other animals, I have the space and ability to separate dogs if needed. Ultimately I treat them like my own. They are welcome in my bed, have free run of the common areas, have lots of toys... I am always up for snuggles and fun!

About: I've had cats and dogs throughout my life and have always loved caring for animals. Most of my experience comes from caring for my own pets and helping care for family members' pets. I've also cared for animals with special needs, including pets who need medications or special diets. I currently have a Pomeranian of my own, and I'm comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes and personalities (My parents have a large Rottweiler I care for when they are out). I’m happy to follow your pet's normal routine, whether they need a walk, feeding, medication, playtime, or simply some company while you're away. I work full-time during the week, so I offer morning and evening care on weekdays and have more flexibility on weekends. I'll treat your pets with the same care and attention I'd want someone to give mine. I’m primarily available for longer visits and house sitting on weekends. For house sitting, I’m not able to stay at a client’s home continuously during weekday work hours, so I’m best suited for pets who are comfortable being alone for part of the day. I’m always upfront about my schedule so I can give every pet the attention and care they deserve. I work full time during the week, so my weekday availability is mainly early mornings and evenings. I’m also available for visits after work when they fit my commute. Weekends are when I have the most flexibility, so I can spend much more time with your pets and offer longer visits or more hands-on care. I also do school online, so I typically keep Sundays for schoolwork and planning, but im open to short check ins. I do have house sitting active because I can spend good time with your pets on the weekend when I have availability but I CAN NOT stay the night/full time at your home, I have my own pets I have to care for as well so it would be difficult. I have a fenced yard where dogs can get some supervised outdoor time, but the fence is not tall enough for me to consider it escape-proof for larger or athletic dogs. I will always supervise pets while they are outside. If you prefer your dog to stay on a leash, I’m also happy to take them for walks around my neighborhood. I’m careful about following each pet’s routine, instructions, and individual needs.
