“Cannot recommend Lydia enough. 5/5. My first time using the app and I couldn’t have come across a better representative of the spirit of Rovers intention. Lydia truly went above and beyond, was flexible, understanding, and accommodating— not just to me, but to the animals and curve balls they gleefully provide.”

About: Most recently in March 2022, I enjoyed housesitting a sharpei for 3 weeks. Before that I housesat a very adorable golden doodle for a week. In 2021, my friends would often leave their dogs with me when they would travel lasting from days - weeks. I recently completed the Google UX Design Certificate. Therefore, I’ll be job hunting full time; I have time throughout the day to walk, feed, and hang out with your dog! Since I will be housesitting, your dog will be familiar and comfortable in their own home, decreasing the possibility of anxiety and maximizing their comfort!
“Hayley has been so fantastic in helping us to adjust to our new routine - she’s consistent, communicative, and sends photos of their daily adventures which I love. My two little ones are not the easiest on the leash, but she handles them like a pro and they seem so happy, thank you!!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 15 years old. Back in Argentina (where I am originally from), I used to rescue stray animals, provide them with their first care, and help find them loving families for adoption. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I truly enjoy making them feel safe, loved, and cared for while their owners are away. I’m currently working part time from home so I have plenty of free time to enjoy the outdoors and take care of your pup while you can’t! . There’s plenty of room at my house to play and there is a lot of beautiful places arround the neighborhood to go for a walk

About: What sets me apart is the level of care and intention I bring to each visit. I don’t rush through walks or treat them as routine tasks—I make sure your dog gets real engagement, structure, and positive interaction every time. Whether it’s a high-energy walk or a calm check-in, I adapt to what your pet needs that day so they come back happy, balanced, and well cared for. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. This allows me to plan walks, drop-ins, and visits around the pet’s needs rather than forcing them into a rigid time slot. Since I’m already home throughout the day, I’m able to provide consistent availability, quick response times, and reliable scheduling for morning, midday, and evening care. I can also easily adjust my routine if a pet needs extra attention, a longer walk, or last-minute care. Overall, my flexibility lets me prioritize each pet’s routine and well-being while making sure owners can count on dependable, stress-free support. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress-free. In a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain a calm, clean, and consistent environment while making sure pets get the attention, exercise, and companionship they’re used to. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, walk routines, and any specific instructions provided so nothing is disrupted. During visits, I focus on creating a safe and positive experience—whether that means structured walks, playtime, potty breaks, or just calm companionship for pets who prefer a quieter presence. I also make sure to communicate updates so owners feel confident and informed while they’re away.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for most of my life and cats for 4 years. I’m usually the person my friends and family ask to take care of their pets when they go away! I’m currently working part time at school, with a very flexible schedule that allows me to take care of pets whenever necessary. I am available for pet care most days! If your pet loves the company of other pets, a lot of my friends take their dogs for walks in the park weekly, and they’ll have a great time socializing. I am very good at descalating tense situations with pets!
About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and currently have two cats of my own, so caring for animals is second nature to me (for reference: my chore starting at age 5 was to feed the dogs 😁🐶). I’ve worked with breeds ranging from pit bulls to chihuahuas, and I’m especially comfortable with pets that need a little extra patience—whether that’s a high-energy dog or a “difficult” cat. What sets me apart is my attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile. I’m comfortable administering medication to both cats and dogs, brushing teeth, and clipping nails. I’m also a runner and love taking active dogs on short to mid-length runs or long walks if that’s something they enjoy. Whether your pet needs exercise, enrichment, or calm, reliable companionship, I tailor my care to meet their unique needs and routine. I’m currently a law student, which gives me a very flexible schedule. Monday through Friday, I have one morning class and one afternoon class, but I’m available to check on your pets during lunch, as well as in the mornings and evenings. My weekends are completely open, and as long as you don’t mind me doing a bit of studying at times, I can spend the majority of the day with your furry family—making sure they get plenty of attention, care, and companionship. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I follow care instructions closely and take time to understand each pet’s personality, triggers, and preferences. In a client’s home, I respect the space and strive to keep everything as familiar and stress-free as possible for your pet. I’m attentive to things like secure doors and gates, leash safety on walks, and monitoring food, medications, and behavior changes. I never leave pets unattended in unsafe situations and always prioritize calm, positive interactions. I’m happy to provide regular updates, photos, and check-ins so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away.

About: I bring over a decade of hands‑on pet care experience with both dogs and cats. I helped raise my parents’ goldendoodle from 8 weeks old to her current 11 years, giving me years of experience with puppies and senior dogs. I also have three rescued cats of my own: an 11‑year‑old senior, a 4‑year‑old I adopted at 8 weeks, and a 3‑month‑old kitten I rescued at 5 weeks and bottle‑fed back to health. My background with rescues, kittens, adult pets, and seniors allows me to provide calm, attentive, reliable care. I treat every animal like family and ensure they feel safe, loved, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. I’m a full‑time property manager, but I’m fortunate to work remotely and create my own schedule. This flexibility allows me to check in on pets during the workday, stop by for walks, give medication, or simply spend time with pets who need company. I can bring my work with me and stay at your home to keep your pets comfortable and cared for. I live in Punchbowl and my office is in Hawaii Kai, so I’m frequently driving between neighborhoods and can easily pop by whenever needed. Your pets will always get reliable, loving attention built naturally into my daily routine. I’m happy to care for pets in whichever environment they’re most comfortable. I can visit your home during the day for feeding, playtime, walks, medication, or companionship, and I’m also available for overnight stays if you prefer someone to be in the home with your pet. I live in a spacious four‑bedroom home, and if needed, I can safely host a cat or small dog by giving them their own room separate from my pets. I’m able to bring my work with me, so whether I’m with your pet at your home or mine, I can provide calm, consistent attention and keep their routine as normal and comforting as possible.

After such a great experience the first time, I knew Sasha was the person I wanted to call when I needed a dog walker again! Penny is always so excited to see her and comes back happy, relaxed, and well cared for. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing she’s in such loving and capable hands. Sasha is reliable, caring, and truly goes above and beyond. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing dog walker!

Hayley has been so fantastic in helping us to adjust to our new routine - she’s consistent, communicative, and sends photos of their daily adventures which I love. My two little ones are not the easiest on the leash, but she handles them like a pro and they seem so happy, thank you!!

Tameia was amazing with Mochi! I sent a last-minute request for a walk and she was still able to accommodate us, which I really appreciated. She was very professional, communicative, and clearly cared about making sure Mochi was comfortable and well taken care of. She also sent plenty of photos and updates during the walk, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Mochi came back happy and tired from all the attention and play. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable and caring for their pets!

This was my first experience with Rover….it was awesome.. Gretchen was great with communication …Olive loved her…perfect energy for our one year old ! I will definitely use Rover in the future….so easy and has a very professional manner which makes you feel safe entrusting your pup with them PD

Hailey was communicative, flexible and on time. She came by and spent time learning where my pup's favorite spots were, how to handle a big dog and avoid reactivity and was very sweet, caring and gentle throughout the walk. After asking a lot of good questions and a successful afternoon walk, I'm confident that we'll be booking Hailey again -- especially for dog sitting when we go out of town.

We asked Liana to do a "run-through" with Ke'o (she will be walking Ke'o for an extended time during our 2-week travel). She was absolutely the best! Her energy was loving, caring, and attentive. She understood Ke'o's needs and quirks--Ke'o loves her. Liana was also very understanding and comforted us humans -- leaving of us knowing that Ke'o is in good hands!

Christina is a terrific caregiver to my older dog Bella. Bella loves taking walks with her. She knows Bella is up in age and is very careful to walk slowly with her. Christina is always on time and is excellent about letting me know how Bella did on her walk. I feel lucky to have found her to take care of my fur baby!

Tatia and I are extremely thankful to Jazmin to accommodate us last minute request. She was very professional with Jerry and Jerry was always anxiously waiting Jazmin's arrival for his routine walk. We will absolutely consider Jazmin again for future and will strongly recommend her to any dog owner. We give Jazmin a 5 STAR rating. THANK YOU JAZMIN !
