About: Hi my name is Jill! I have 4 years of dog training experience, though I do not offer dog training on Rover currently. I have my own dog, and have had and taken care of dogs my whole life. I am very well educated on dog behavior and health. I know how to tell signs of heat exhaustion and how to prevent it. I can remain calm, take action and think responsibly in a time of high stress. I know how to safely and correctly break up a dog fight, and how to prevent and de-escalate the situation. I am an equestrian, and can handle big animals, including big dogs. I have taken care of small animals, exotic animals, and very big animals. I have taken care of and trained different breeds, sizes, and ages of dogs including puppies, senior dogs, aggressive, reactive, confident, and timid dogs. I treat every dog as if they were my own and my priority is their safety over anything, and of course they’re happiness and comfortability. I know how to correctly use and introduce training tools, like prong collars, muzzles, slip lead, martingale, fur saver, choke chain, and more. I know when and when not to give water to prevent bloat. I also have grooming experience. I know how to safely introduce two dogs to each other. I’m very good at reading dog body language and keeping all animals safe and happy. Reading a dog’s body language and acting accordingly is very important to me, most dog lovers or walkers love dogs but wouldn’t truly know that a dog may be uncomfortable or overlook subtle negative signs. I am very grateful for the experience and knowledge I have worked hard to achieve to be able to do more than just love dogs but make a difference and advocate for them and keep them completely safe even from most overlooked dangers. I love dogs but more importantly I love being able to keep dogs happy and safe, and giving them the life they deserve. Your dog will be incredibly safe the entire time, and in responsible, educated, loving hands. I’m available for walking pets during the day until 5:30 pm. I’m able to do some weekends. I’m currently only doing Rover, so I have all the time for your pets! I won’t do drop in visits alone if someone is in the house for safety reasons, I will usually only do drop in visits for female owners because I am a young female. For walking dogs, I always check the ground too make sure it’s not too hot, I wait 30 minutes after a walk to give large amounts of water to prevent bloating, I know the area and what places are dog friendly if your dog needs shade and air conditioning. I carry pet corrector, which is a can of compressed air and completely harmless to scare off any aggressive/off leash dogs to prevent a fight. I don’t go to dog park unless asked because they can be an irresponsible and unsafe environment. I don’t do on leash greets to prevent fights. I carry poop bags, and water with the dogs. I don’t allow dogs to eat or drink anything that is not given to them to prevent illness. I’m very observant when on walk so I can keep myself and the dog safe.

About: I have owned dogs my entire life, and I have extensive experience in dog-walking and sitting, cat care, and home care, ever since I was a teenager. I love animals and am even a wildlife photographer. I have personal experience service training dogs for psychiatric service, as well. I am able to ensure not only premium, safe, and reliable love and care for your animals, but also your plants and the general welfare of your home while you’re away. If your animal has special needs or training curriculums, I am able to meet them, so your time away doesn’t become time off from necessary routines or specialized care. Additional services and excursions (hikes, dog parks, beach days, etc.) are available upon request. Mahalo for thinking of me for the care of your pet! I work part time in the evenings and am a member of a canoe paddling team that practices three to four times per week, so my schedule is flexible with plenty of time for your pets! Being a dog-owner myself, maintaining routines and going the extra mile for play and exercise is important to me. I am currently self-training my rescue for psychiatric service, so I am very comfortable working with dogs from a variety of backgrounds with different levels of confidence and social comfort. I have also cared for cats and am comfortable with their often varying levels of social needs, as well as their basic care. I will never use negative reinforcement with your animal, ensuring a gentle, fun, and trustworthy experience for your pet. Additional services and home care (plant care, delivery reception, maintenance/vendor monitoring, etc.) are available, as well.

“My mom and sister were staying at our place to watch one of our dogs Logan while we were traveling, and we wanted to hire a dog walker to walk Logan before bed at night since Waikiki can be sketchy at night. Liana and Wilbur agreed to do so and were great with Logan. They were very punctual and sent us pics every night. Logan can be snappy with certain dogs, but they said he was good with them. Although I wasn’t able to meet them personally (my gf met them before we left for the trip), I would highly recommend them as my Mom and gf said they are a very nice couple.”

About: I’ve had pets my entire life from cats and dogs to crabs and fish. I love animals and caring for them like they are my own children that i birthed. I am a senior college student with lots of downtime throughout my schedule during the week that needs to be filled with animal love and care I have a fenced backyard in a nice neighborhood. Lots of animal accessories , including beds, toys, crates, and bathing supplies. No other animals at the moment are staying at my house.

About: I’ve always loved animals. Growing up I’ve taken care of multiple of my neighbors dogs and cats, starting at eight years old. I’ve also grown up with a dog of my own. Pet care is the number one thing on my schedule! Followed by working out and surfing I love to spend my time with, and care for animals. I would gladly make sure your pet is taken care of and their needs are met at all times. Whether it’s dropping in and playing with your pet or on walks or bathroom breaks the animals safety and well-being along with your trust is my number one priority.

About: I have two years of experience taking care of small and large dogs. I provide patient and attentive care to each dog’s individual needs. I am also an experienced dog owner having owned two Labrador retrievers. I am currently available for drop ins and dog walking visits Monday - Friday. I am willing to see multiple pets on the same day. I am flexible and willing to work around each clients schedule. I will ensure safety when taking care of my client’s pets by following all instructions given to me and ensuring safety at all times. The dog will always remain leashed on walks and during and after walks each dog will be given water to cool down. I will provide photos of your dog during our walk/visit to keep clients updated on how their dog is doing and to help them feel relieved knowing their dog is being safely taken care of.

About: My pups are my heart and my life! 💖 They are the center of my world, and like many of us pet parents, I take care of my sweet babies better than I care for myself. My husband and I have had our little Marshmallow for 12 wonderful years and counting! For six amazing years, we also had our sweet CocoBear, whom we adopted as a senior with multiple health issues requiring special care. She has since crossed the rainbow bridge, but she is still loved, missed, and cherished by us every single day. Now that it’s just Marshmallow, she’d love some company! I've been dog-sitting for over 12 years, and animals have always been a huge part of my life.
