About: I bring over a decade of hands‑on pet care experience with both dogs and cats. I helped raise my parents’ goldendoodle from 8 weeks old to her current 11 years, giving me years of experience with puppies and senior dogs. I also have three rescued cats of my own: an 11‑year‑old senior, a 4‑year‑old I adopted at 8 weeks, and a 3‑month‑old kitten I rescued at 5 weeks and bottle‑fed back to health. My background with rescues, kittens, adult pets, and seniors allows me to provide calm, attentive, reliable care. I treat every animal like family and ensure they feel safe, loved, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. I’m a full‑time property manager, but I’m fortunate to work remotely and create my own schedule. This flexibility allows me to check in on pets during the workday, stop by for walks, give medication, or simply spend time with pets who need company. I can bring my work with me and stay at your home to keep your pets comfortable and cared for. I live in Punchbowl and my office is in Hawaii Kai, so I’m frequently driving between neighborhoods and can easily pop by whenever needed. Your pets will always get reliable, loving attention built naturally into my daily routine. I’m happy to care for pets in whichever environment they’re most comfortable. I can visit your home during the day for feeding, playtime, walks, medication, or companionship, and I’m also available for overnight stays if you prefer someone to be in the home with your pet. I live in a spacious four‑bedroom home, and if needed, I can safely host a cat or small dog by giving them their own room separate from my pets. I’m able to bring my work with me, so whether I’m with your pet at your home or mine, I can provide calm, consistent attention and keep their routine as normal and comforting as possible.
About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience caring for dogs of all ages and needs. I’ve been taking care of my childhood dog since I was five years old, and over the years I’ve also cared for my sister’s puppy and dogs belonging to close friends. This has given me a deep understanding of how different dogs require different levels of care, patience, and attention I know that every dog parent has their own preferences, so I always follow each dog’s usual routine, training cues, and care instructions. I’m very active and love providing long walks and playtime for high-energy dogs, while also being gentle and attentive with senior dogs who may need a slower pace. I always send photo and video updates so you can feel at ease while you’re away. If you’d like, I’m also happy to include fun extras like a beach day or a bath—whatever helps your dog feel happy, comfortable, and loved. I’m a freelance photographer with a very flexible schedule, so I’m available on most weekdays to spend quality time with your pups and take them on walks. I’m also very active, so if your dog has lots of energy and enjoys long walks or runs, I’d be happy to keep up and give them the exercise they need! I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of different ages and needs. Through this, I’ve learned that every dog, and every pet parent, has unique preferences and routines. I make it a priority to follow each dog’s usual schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest so they feel comfortable and well cared for. Whether a dog needs extra cuddle time, gentle care, or lots of activity, I’m attentive to their individual needs and always aim to provide a safe, loving, and familiar environment.
About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life. I grew up on farmland, so my family had much room for new animals and we took advantage of the land. This has resulted in me gaining experience to care for 6 cats at once, 2 dogs, 2 pigs, a bearded dragon, a hedgehog, and fish! I’m currently a full time student so I have flexibility to take dogs on walks before, between, or after classes. I am also an early riser so I can work with that too. Unfortunately I cannot bring pets into my space, as I live in a small area and it would not be best for animals, but I would love to accommodate what works best for each client.
“Kristie was fantastic and extremely flexible with our schedule. She was on time and really took care of guava. She has a lot of care and asked alot of questions on how we walk guava. 10/10”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life!! I love animals and would be happy to help walk dogs or care for any animals in your home. I offer full day/overnight pet sitting in addition to drop in feedings and walks. If you’re looking for someone to be home with your pet all day while you’re working, I’m your girl! I’m 28 years old and speak Spanish. I am familiar with old dogs with lots of needs and medications as well as little puppies who may need training. I am comfortable with multiple dogs, big or small, and cats too. My family has two Labrador retrievers and my roommate had a small Havanese so dogs are a large part of my life. Feel free to contact me with any questions about my services. I work remotely so it’s easy for me to do walks or feeding for pets! Plus, it gets me out and about which is great for me too! When I work, I tend to work on the couch where I can pet my animals while I’m going through emails! I am very cognizant of each animal’s personality and quirks to make sure they’re happy and feel comfortable with me!

About: I run cross country, so my pitbull back home, ‘Olena, go on runs often to get out some extra energy. If your pet also wants to get out some extra energy, I am so down. I am a university student, home for the summer, so I am available most times and days of the week. I am so excited to meet and hang out your lovely dog! My pitbull, ‘Olena and I go on hikes, long drives, and LOVE eating spoonfuls of peanut butter. Our walks are our fun adventures, and I play fetch with him if/when we stop at a park.

“Nikolai took wonderful care of my baby while I was out of town. Levi can be very skittish and is afraid of everything but Nikolai was very patient with him and made sure he kept to his feeding/walking schedule. He sent regular updates and pictures of my dog relaxing and enjoying himself. I will definitely book again!”

About: Most recently in March 2022, I enjoyed housesitting a sharpei for 3 weeks. Before that I housesat a very adorable golden doodle for a week. In 2021, my friends would often leave their dogs with me when they would travel lasting from days - weeks. I recently completed the Google UX Design Certificate. Therefore, I’ll be job hunting full time; I have time throughout the day to walk, feed, and hang out with your dog! Since I will be housesitting, your dog will be familiar and comfortable in their own home, decreasing the possibility of anxiety and maximizing their comfort!
Makiki dog parents share their Rover experiences
Tatia and I are extremely thankful to Jazmin to accommodate us last minute request. She was very professional with Jerry and Jerry was always anxiously waiting Jazmin's arrival for his routine walk. We will absolutely consider Jazmin again for future and will strongly recommend her to any dog owner. We give Jazmin a 5 STAR rating. THANK YOU JAZMIN !

Kristi was absolutely wonderful! This was our first time using Rover, so we were a little nervous, but she immediately put us at ease. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly great with our dogs. They came back happy, calm, and well-exercised after their walk, which says it all. Kristi followed all instructions perfectly and treated our dogs like they were her own. We couldn’t have asked for a better first experience and will definitely be booking her again. Highly recommend!

Andrea has been incredible! She comes three times a day and is always consistent, reliable, and thoughtful. When unexpected things happen- like the lights going out- she handles it calmly and finds solutions without missing a beat. Roxy is always well cared for, and we have total peace of mind knowing Andrea is looking after them. We highly recommend her!

We had a wonderful experience with Luna and will definitely contact her again for any dog walking/sitting needs! Communication was exceptional with daily updates and photos. There was a lot of unexpected changes while we were away and Luna was super accommodating. This was our first time using Rover and feel like we hit the jackpot with her! Thank you so much Luna! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review for Jadyn: Jadyn is absolutely amazing! I met her on a Wednesday and needed someone last-minute to watch Apollo on Thursday—she came through right away! She’s so kind, caring, and attentive, and Apollo loved her instantly. When my daughter accidentally locked our gate and Jadyn couldn’t get in, she stayed calm and found a creative solution (with my permission, of course!) to make sure Apollo was safe and happy until my daughter got home. She’s reliable, resourceful, and genuinely loves what she does. We’re so grateful to have found her on Rover—highly recommend Jadyn to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter who truly goes above and beyond! 🐾💛

Our dog Hachi LOVES Kelly! He’s an older husky mix, full of energy, talkative, mouthy, and a little high-maintenance, but Kelly is great with him. Hachi gets so excited every time she shows up, Hachi can hardly contain himself wiggling and crying with joy; that says it all! Kelly is trustworthy and reliable and a pro with animals. We’re so grateful to to be working with her. We couldn’t recommend her more highly!

Dominique is the best! She has been walking my dog while I am at work for several weeks now and I will continue to use her in the future! She is reliable, she responds quickly, and she is always sure to let me know her availability as quickly as she can. I have really appreciated working with her and I know Louie looks forward to seeing her in the future!
