Hi! I’m Jenna. I majored in Small Animal Science/ Pre-Vet in college. I’ve been a full time professional dog walker and pet sitter for the past 14 years. I just arrived to the island in mid November after living in Australia the last 6 years which is why I have a gap in my last activity on rover. I was so lucky to grow my dog walking and pet sitting full time there as well. This included both solo walks and taking groups of four dogs at a time on coastal walks, dog beaches, and off leash unfenced dog parks which further enhanced my skills and attentiveness. I've cared for thousands of dogs of various sizes and different personalities. I’ve also taken care of cats, birds, horses, farm animals, exotics, and pocket pets. Before petsitting, I worked in a dog boarding facility, doggie daycares, and a veterinary hospital. I am certified in Pet First Aid and CPR. I have a ton of experience administering oral meds, insulin injections, etc. I have a background in animal behavior and training and have no problem working with aggressive or timid dogs. I have a huge soft spot for older and special needs dogs and will give them the extra tlc and patience that they need. This app has a cap on how many personal reviews I can post and have heaps more reviews from my personal clients that can send over if interested just reach out. I have two fur babies of my own. Owen is a basset hound/ beagle mix and Daisy is a Chinese Crested mix. They were both rescued from horrible pasts and are now living the good life :) I’m a huge advocate for rescue animals and have lived with rescue dogs my whole life. I wish I could save them all!! I absolutely love all animals (especially dogs!) and treat every pet I care for as if they were my own :) I can’t wait to meet your fur baby!

I currently offer overnights in your home or drop in visits if you don’t require me sleeping over. I treat your home like I’m a guest and leave it the same way I found it . I have no problem collecting mail, watering plants etc as well

Recently we left Jenna with our girl Stevie for two weeks. We had some concerns about finding the right fit for Stevie since we usually take her everywhere with us. We highly recommend Jenna! Stevie took to her immediately. Jenna is responsible, communicative, and dependable. She provided us with daily pictures and updates. She is a true lover of animals, and the love and good care she gave to Stevie and our home were well worth it.
My dog and cat are both comfortable with Jenna which makes pop-ins and last minute visits a real lifesaver. Jenna is diligent and cares for both of them passionately.
Jenna is great! She takes her time to get to know the animals and reached out beforehand to make sure she knew all their quirks. I feel safe having them with her.
Jenna is AMAZING! The heart she puts into her visits is above and beyond anything we expected. Knowing that Bam Bam had Jenna visiting her and keeping her great company meant so much.
