About: I have been caring for animals nonstop since I was child . I grew up in house where we had everything from dogs to goats, and would love the opportunity to care for your furry loved ones next! I currently can do walks, boarding and or travel to you for your animals needs. I am pretty open as I make my own schedule so surly we can work something out that best fits your current needs. I have one dog of my own who would love to keep them company. I have a fenced Lani and walk them Every 2 hours. I also can crate if need, or am willing to travel to your home if that’s your preference .
“Jazmin is awesome! Very chill and flexible. I have an older dog who can be sensitive to longer walks and she was very dedicated to meeting his needs and giving him a good walk/visit. She is absolutely my go-to from now on!”

“I have been working with Isabel for several weeks as she has been helping me walk my dog on the days I work. She is very responsive and she always gets back to me quickly. She has been extremely reliable and flexible. She also is great at communicating her availability so I know what to expect way in advance. She takes great care of my nervous little dog and always gets the best pictures of him so I know he is okay when I am at work. Isabel is the best! Thanks for all your help Isabel, Louie looks forward to seeing you again soon!”

“Melissa is very personable and professional. She handled Alika well and did not get alarmed by how excited Alika reacted when meeting her. He is big and strong and likes to jump up on people to say hi, but she understood that and handled him well.”

About: As a lifelong athlete and Physician Assistant with 8 years of experience, I believe staying active is the key to a happy, healthy life—for people and pups alike. My dog, Rosie, is my friendly adventure buddy, and together we love going on walks, hikes, and beach days. With my medical background, I’m attentive to each dog’s unique needs, whether they’re energetic, senior, or need a little extra TLC. I focus on creating safe, fun experiences that keep dogs healthy, happy, and well-socialized. On my days off, your pet gets my full attention. I love starting the day with outdoor time—whether that’s a beach walk, park trip, or casual stroll around the neighborhood—and winding down with playtime or cuddles at home. Whether your pup needs exercise, enrichment, or just a cozy place to relax, I make sure they’re cared for and comfortable throughout the day. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I maintain a calm, structured environment and tailor each dog’s care based on their energy level, social comfort, and needs. My background in medicine helps me notice subtle changes in behavior or health, and I make sure every dog feels secure and cared for while in my home or on adventures.
About: I’m a lifelong dog and cat lover with four cats of my own, and I grew up in a home filled with both dogs and cats. I’m very active and enjoy taking long walks, playing at parks, and spending quality time with pets. I understand how important it is for cats and dogs to get the attention and care they need, and I’m dedicated to making sure every pet feels happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I am currently between jobs, and the government furlough has delayed the start of my new job. Because of this, I am searching for alternative income. I have a very open and accommodating schedule and am able to work when you need me to. I am a very attentive pet owner. I make sure that my pets are loved and cared for. They always have a clean-living environment with food, water, and the amenities they need. I am sensitive to animals and their needs and will make sure that your pet gets the attention and care they need.
“Hayley is fantastic! She took wonderful care of my dogs, and she won over my shy dog right away, which really speaks to her skill and experience. Hayley has been super reliable and easy to coordinate with. And she sends awesome photos from every walk! Highly recommended!”

About: Most recently in March 2022, I enjoyed housesitting a sharpei for 3 weeks. Before that I housesat a very adorable golden doodle for a week. In 2021, my friends would often leave their dogs with me when they would travel lasting from days - weeks. I recently completed the Google UX Design Certificate. Therefore, I’ll be job hunting full time; I have time throughout the day to walk, feed, and hang out with your dog! Since I will be housesitting, your dog will be familiar and comfortable in their own home, decreasing the possibility of anxiety and maximizing their comfort!
About: Hello! My name is Mike and I am a 30 year Navy Vet retiree. I grew up with a Siberian Husky for 14 years taking great care of him as a member of the family and I miss him very much. I love caring for dogs and pets. I also enjoy staying physically fit and active. What a powerful and enjoyable combination to fulfill both through ROVER! Additional related experience includes several years as a volunteer coach for youth rugby and lacrosse executing patience, trustworthiness and care with kids and parents. New to ROVER, I look forward to earning your trust and providing love and care for your dog! I enjoy being with dogs. I maintain physical fitness and this is very suitable for the pet walking and exercise that are a core part of ROVER services. I am a retired Navy vet that completed a 30 plus year career. I have a very flexible schedule and can work most days from 6 AM to 9 PM but willing to go outside those hours. I promise to take great care of your home and your pet. Honor, courage, friendliness, patience and communication are all essential to my way of life. I understand trust is earned, so that is my goal - to earn your trust and respect while providing much love and care for your dog.
About: Dogs have been my quiet passion since childhood. I used to collect dog-themed postcards, books, and just about anything related to them. Calming dogs was even considered my “special skill” as a kid—and to this day, I still find joy in helping shy or anxious pups feel safe and loved. As a freelance designer who once dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, I bring that same care, sensitivity, and attention to detail into the way I care for animals. I naturally read each pet’s body language and adapt to their emotional needs—whether they need a slow, gentle approach or playful companionship. Even now, my husband and I sometimes visit service dogs at our local library to read books to them—just to spend time with dogs while we miss our own pup who lives with our parents on the mainland. Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do—it’s something I truly love. I work from home on weekdays with a flexible schedule—typically between 8 AM and 4 PM—but I’m happy to adjust as needed to fit your pet’s care routine. I’m available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, or simply keeping your pet company. Evenings are also open, and my husband (who’s just as passionate about dogs!) often joins me in caring for them. Saturdays are also available, while Friday nights and Sundays may be limited due to church commitments. Above all, I’m committed to being present, responsive, and reliable—ensuring your pet always feels safe, loved, and well cared for. To start, I’m focusing on dog walking and drop-in visits outside the home. I live in a cozy two-bedroom condo with an ocean view, which is currently best suited for small to medium-sized dogs. As I gain more experience and build trust with each pet I care for, I plan to gradually offer in-home daycare as well. Our space is clean, quiet, and filled with warmth—perfect for dogs who enjoy a calm, cozy environment with lots of love. Whether I’m walking your dog or caring for them at home, safety, comfort, and trust are always my top priorities.
About: 😁Aloha! My name is Debbie Ye. My boyfriend and I both work from home most of the time, which means your furry friend will never be short on love, attention, and belly rubs. We live in a pet-friendly building with lots of green space nearby, perfect for walks, sniff breaks! We’re proud paw-rents to our sweet golden retriever, who’s super friendly and always happy to make new friends. Whether your dog wants an energetic buddy or prefers to chill solo, we’ll make sure they feel safe and happy. 💡 What we offer: • Dog walking with lots of sniffs and smiles 🐕 • Cat visits and cuddles 🐱 • Pick-up and drop-off for busy days 🚗 • Overnight stays (at our place or yours) for pets who love company even at bedtime 💤 We know how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet – they’re family, after all! We’ll treat yours like our own, with patience, care, and lots of play. Feel free to message us if you have any questions or want to set up a meet-and-greet! We’d love to meet you and your pet 🐶🐾 I like to know what makes your dog happy, what situations make them uncomfortable, how you typically exercise them, and what key commands they know (or are working on). I would also like to know about any special dietary restrictions they have, medication they are taking, or special services they might need. In our home, pets are treated like family! We make sure they have a cozy space to relax, fresh water at all times, and lots of play and cuddle time. Walks are scheduled regularly throughout the day, and we follow their usual routines to keep them comfortable. When caring for pets in a client’s home, we focus on keeping things familiar for them. We respect the pet’s routines and space, give them plenty of attention, and always leave the home just as we found it—clean and cared for. Whether it’s feeding, walking, or bedtime cuddles, we make sure your pet feels loved and safe. If it’s your first booking in Rover. Use code “DEBBIY54397” to get $20 off your first booking with me! “Many thanks for all you’ve done in the past couple of days to keep the routine going for the dogs. Appreciate the communication, responsiveness, and care while we were away. Anyone who books with Emily will be lucky to have her.”

“Megan is very sweet, kind and out going! She is a true Gem of a find! We will definitely have to have Megan come back and take Rocket out for walks and play dates. She is athletic which is a plus for us as Rocket is a fast walker “sometimes”....”

About: When I was 15 I started my first in-home pet sitting business.... I have had a love for animals for as long as I can remember I have lots of flexibility in my schedule. I have a moped so, I will only be taking gigs in the Chinatown, kakaako, Ala Moana, and Waikiki areas though I have three of the sweetest fur babies of my own and I will give yours just as much love. I'm a very sensitive and observative person so I can cater to the needs of your beloved pet.
“Nea is great! She did amazing with my golden and I can tell she really cares about dogs and pets in general! Definately recommend her to anyone with pet needs.”

About: Hi! My name is Allison, but you can call me Ali. My friends and family tell me I should have become a vet, not a nurse (for humans). I absolutely love animals, especially dogs and cats! I have always been a pet owner-- as long as I can remember, and have pet-sat many times for neighbors and friends. I am unable to have pets of my own at the moment, but I am always in need of an animal fix. I will treat your pet with as much care, love and attention as I would my own. I am a nurse, so my schedule varies-- just ask me and I will explain my availability and routine. I will be prompt with responses as I always have my phone with me and will check for messages multiple times per day. I can't wait to meet you and especially my next furry friend! I am a nurse, so my schedule varies (sometimes day shift, sometime night shift, sometimes weekends or holidays)… and it changes week to week. On my off days, I have plenty of time to spend with your pet! I will take care of your pet as my own! I am flexible…Please let me know what I can do to make my time with your pet go smoothly!
“Shannon B. treated my boy Tuna like her own. She even took him to his favorite spot: the dog park! Her service is top notch and she is reliable as a walker or sitter. Will definitely book her again and would reccomend her to a friend.”

“Ria did amazing. She is super friendly and engaging with my pup Archie. Archie sometimes needs a little bit to like someone but due to her positive attitude he loved her right away. The other day I was still at home when she picked him up and Archie was soooo excited to see her. She did great taking care of Archie and Archie was definitely happy after his walks. She is super responsive on rover and flexible with any extra requests. She always sends me picks of Archie being a big weirdo. I 100% recommend her and will book her services again.”

“Malia was professional, punctual and communicative throughout the process. Highly recommend her! We’ll certainly be using her services again! Thank you Malia for caring for our dog, Rio.”
