About: I'm amazing with animals. (Dogs specifically.) I can say this confidently, because I'm able to understand and reciprocate communication without a single word being used. I've been attacked before, and stayed because I understand that misbehavior probably has a deeper issue than just wanting to cause pain. - Simply put. I love seeing animals happy within a loving environment. But enough with the bragging and sob stories.😂 If you need a walker, a babysitter, or someone to love the bad behavior out of your furbaby, please reach out! I have 100% open availability. I'm currently working on breaking into the freelance lifestyle, so my flexibility allows for last-minute changes and needs! Open to all days and times! I live in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful but unfenced yard. Your place is honestly (probably) better than mine. I'm a single independent woman with both professional and personal references - can be available to sit at the owner's location with ease of mind guaranteed!

About: I absolutely love animals and I’ve owned many animals throughout my whole life. From chickens to horses, I know how to take care of animals. Many neighbors have trusted me to take care of their houses and pets while they are away. I’m currently not working, and my schedule is pretty much entirely open. I have lots of time to spend taking care of your animals!! ❤️ I don’t have a fenced yard, however, I have a fenced dog park close by and lots of room to walk and play with any animal that needs it!! If I am taking care of your animals in your home, I would simply need instructions to follow :)
About: What makes me stand out is that my business is insured for the safety and health of all pets in my care. I stay in frequent communication with pet owners to ensure that their beloved pet is safe, comfortable and shown the same love and care as they are accustomed to. I have cared for senior dogs and pay close attention to any behaviors or signs of distress that deviate from what their owners say is their norm. I have a car and have experience with vet er for my own guineapigs and am able to take immediate steps to get pets any vet care they need. I have taken care of dogs, cats and guineapigs. Drop off Time: ** For new clients, please drop off dogs prior to 5pm to allow pet time to settle in before night time. I work from home doing basic remote accounting work while I finish my online courses to pursue my CPA. I am home most of the time aside from stepping out to grocery shop and enjoy beautiful hawaii here and there. It is important that all dogs in my care are crate trained for their safety when I must make short trips out, lasting no longer than 3 hours, averaging 2 hours. (no dog will be crated that has not been crate trained. Dogs not showing any signs of destructive separation anxiety, such as scratching at doors, will not need to be crate trained. Dogs can be expected to be walked at 6am for 30 to 45 minutes depending on how much they like to sniff around. Then another potty break at 10am, 2pm another longer walk at 5:30pm and a final potty break between 8-9pm before bed. I always make sure dogs pee and poop the amount of times is normal for them and keep taking them outside until they go successfully. Night time is usually 9pm-10pm. Dogs that need extra toy play time get to play, fresh water ready for the night. For safety, my business is insured so all pets in my care are covered in any emergencies. The main area dogs will be at is in the living room safe from all things they may be tempted to chew on, knock over or swallow. There is lots of natural light and fresh pacific breeze coming off the mountains into my apartment that dogs love to sploot out on cool tile by the screen doors. Makes for excellent photos! Leashes and harnesses: I inspect all equipment clients provide as pet safety on walks is my top priority. Please insure that you provide safe collars, harnesses and leashes that will ensure your dog will be safe on walks. This means that they cannot slip out of their harness or collar and run off. On Walks: Regardless of your dog's past experiences with other dogs, I will refrain from allowing your dog interact with any dogs unless specifically authorized. I also watch for dogs sniffing around for dangerous "treats" and keep provided treats for if a dog grabs something they are not suppose to. Dogs will never be off leash in my care for any moment of time. This is to keep my insurance on them intact and will make sure that they safe.
About: I've had dogs of my own ever since I was a child that my siblings and I always took care of. As well as so many other dogs that have and are in my life. I love to keep them company while running or cuddling with them, and even giving them a good wash. I currently am available for pet care in the mornings as well as evenings, Monday throughout Friday is best along with occasional weekends same time frames. I would hope for gates throughout the halls where a pet is not allowed in a clients home. Making sure feeding schedules are kept up with, along with midday snacks if allowed. They should have a solid place to sleep and some toys if needed.
About: I’ve had a family pet for 18 years, and my own doggy and cat for the past 11 years. I decided to join rover when I realized how difficult it was to find a reliable and inexpensive service last minute when scrambling to find someone. Your puppies will be in best company with my Kaia, 11yr old chihuahua terrier and my 6year old orange tabby. I will take them on long walks before work and again when returning home. I live in an apt right on the Ala wai, very close to two big parks. They willl be allowed to sleep with me. I will only board from one family at a time, however I do have a chihuahua terrier mix and an orange tabby.
About: I personally have owned cats my entire life, they are just the absolute best! I have also had multiple dogs in my life and love how each one has their own personality. I also have experience with birds and adore their personalities and attitude. I also don't mind watering your plants while you're away! I am currently a graduate student and work from home one or two days a week, so spending the day with your pet so they can lounge around the house is no issue! Although I listed I will not be home full time feel free to ask and I'll see what I can do! While I cannot take your pet to my own home, I will ensure that your animal is always under the watchful eye of me and my husband while we go on walks and play. We love going to the beach and on hikes, and are thrilled when we get to take a furry friend with us on our adventures.

About: I’m an animal lover with a big heart and endless cuddles to give! I’ve had dogs of my own, so I understand the love, patience, walks, belly rubs, and care that pets need to feel safe and happy. I adore dogs of all breeds, shapes, and sizes! Since losing my sweet rescue girl (black labrador & pit bull poi dog) from the Humane Society, I’ve missed having dogs in my life and would love the chance to shower your fur baby with cuddles, walks, attention, and lots of TLC. I also regularly dogsit my boyfriend’s dog whenever the family is away on vacation because they trust me completely with his care. He (boyfriend’s dog, haha!) absolutely adores me and even though he growls at most people, he’s always gentle and loving with me 🐾 I stick with a set routine for walking and feeding. I’m in tuned with their needs and talk to them like a human being when they seem to not be feeling well (missing their owner and not eating) and try my best to cheer them up and remind them that mommy/daddy will be back soon, don’t worry! I work a regular full-time office job with the State of Hawaii in town and can step out of the office to offer potty breaks or quick check ins. I’m available anytime after 4:30pm when I get off work and I have my own car so transportation is not an issue. I’m easily reached by phone so you can always get in touch. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priority. I understand how important trust is when welcoming someone into your home and caring for a beloved family member, so I will always treat both your pet and your space with the utmost respect, care, and professionalism. I closely follow feeding schedules, walking routines, medications, and any special instructions to help pets feel secure and comfortable while you’re away. I pay close attention to their behavior and emotions, especially if they seem anxious, lonely, or out of routine, and I make sure they receive plenty of affection, patience, reassurance, and loving companionship. Communication and trust are extremely important to me, and I’m always happy to provide updates, photos, and check-ins for peace of mind. Your address and personal information will always remain private and will never be shared with anyone. For your safety and comfort, absolutely no strangers or guests will ever be allowed into your home during your absence. I’m very clean, dependable, respectful, and attentive, and I’ll make sure your home stays tidy and your fur baby feels safe, loved, relaxed, and cared for until you return home!

“Mike is easy to work with and our big girl loves her play and walk time with Mike. She is always even more happy and content on the days that Mike has come by. We are lucky to have him!”

About: I’m an active pet lover who enjoys getting outside for walks and adventures, but I’m just as happy staying in to keep your pet company. Whether your dog needs exercise, playtime, or relaxed companionship, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I work full time from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of free time for pet care. I have lots of availability for walks, drop-ins, and spending quality time with your pets throughout the day. I live in a cozy air conditioned home. I have a fenced yard for safe playtime, and my dog-loving roommates help make sure visiting pups get lots of attention. Our neighborhood is safe and great for walks, so your pet will get both exercise and plenty of company.
About: My pet care experience started back when I was roughly 12 years old. We did not have dogs in my house until I was a bit older, with the exceptions of some family friends. One particular family friend had a great, big, beautiful black lab named Fowler. He really kick-started my zeal for pet loving. They were over almost daily and Fowler began to feel like my dog. He always played with me, laid with me, and even slept on top of my feet every night. It's one of my most memorable experiences in my life - something about the nostalgia and how sweet it was has always brought back bittersweet memories. Fowler was already pretty old when he came into my life, so it wasn't much later that I had to take care of him in his old age. As a hyper kid, I had to learn to adjust to Fowler's age. This really helped me later on in life, where I feel more comfortable caring for and being around dogs of any age. I have been close to many dogs in my life, and even before having some of our own in my family, I felt capable of gauging and responding the appropriate way to many different types of dogs. A while later, after Fowler passed, my family got a few dogs. I have helped and spearheaded the majority of their care throughout the years, being that I was always so eager to do it. I would wake up early for feeding and walking, I have helped train a handful of dogs - small to large, young to old. I have given shots orally for dogs, but feel confident in performing dog CPR, though I do not have a certification for the latter. No matter the dog, I am always so so eager to meet, walk, and take care of them(this is why going to the BeltLine is so hard for me, so many dogs I want to pet). If there is anything missing in my profile, please reach out to me! I am always looking for ways to improve my puppy-loving and care-taking. I am currently seeking part- and full-time work, so my schedule is currently very open. Hopefully I can meet your needs and take the best care of your pups! I unfortunately don’t live in a place that allows pets, so boarding is not an option. I have done a lot of pet/house sitting in the past, and my policy is to leave it better than I found it. I clean while I’m there and hope to make it look like I wasn’t even there in the first place. For the pups, I aim to adjust my schedule as best I can to meet the schedule the pups are already on, since routine is so important!
“Malia was professional, punctual and communicative throughout the process. Highly recommend her! We’ll certainly be using her services again! Thank you Malia for caring for our dog, Rio.”

About: I have grown up with many dogs, Rottweilers, pit bulls, and now I have a mini golden doodle. I can take care of any breed! I have online classes so I am free most days.I am always surrounded by animals and which to continue that as a job I love. I have trained my dog to use his doggie door. I am very aware of my baby at all times like I will be with your pets as well. I built my dog a step stool so he can easily get in my bed. I will take your dogs out as often as you see fit.
“Camryn was great walking my 100lb pup while I was out of town. Appreciate that she was always on time, super flexible with rescheduling, and provided photos every time.”

About: I am a student at Rollins college originally from Atlanta, Georgia. I come from a dog loving family, and have 3 of my own at home. I would love to spend time with some playful dogs and have the pleasure to keep them if needed. I have a relatively flexible schedule due to virtual classes this semester so please feel free to reach out and I’m sure I will be able to help!! I live in an open apartment building (no lobby or community features) there is a grass area provided and great neighborhoods around to walk through.
About: Hi! I’m Callen, an animal lover with experience caring for dogs, cats, and other pets. I truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I offer dog walking, drop-ins, and house sitting, and I’m very flexible with scheduling. Whether your pet is energetic and loves long walks or prefers a calm visit and some cuddles, I’m happy to adjust to whatever they need. I know how much pets mean to their families, so I take that responsibility seriously. I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages so you know your pet is in good hands. I’m very dependable and treat every home and pet with the same care and respect I would expect for my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! My schedule is very flexible right now, so I’m able to accommodate a wide range of visit times and give pets plenty of attention during walks or drop-ins. Unfortunately my apartment doesn’t allow pets. So I’d only be able to come to your home or walk your fur baby around your neighborhood. I'd take the dogs to the beach, dog parks, lite hiking, and whatever else you as the owner could suggest!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Palolo
Maple has been a great dog walker for my bully mix, Duke. I booked her for daily walks during week days to break up the long work day for him. She not only gives him a good walk but also plays ball with him in the front yard afterwards for additional enrichment and exercise. Maple has been very communicative and flexible with my changing schedule and requests. I will definitely be re-booking regularly!

My mom and sister were staying at our place to watch one of our dogs Logan while we were traveling, and we wanted to hire a dog walker to walk Logan before bed at night since Waikiki can be sketchy at night. Liana and Wilbur agreed to do so and were great with Logan. They were very punctual and sent us pics every night. Logan can be snappy with certain dogs, but they said he was good with them. Although I wasn’t able to meet them personally (my gf met them before we left for the trip), I would highly recommend them as my Mom and gf said they are a very nice couple.

Jordan is a wonderful sitter/walker!! We were so excited to find her, and my dog Roxy (who has very big opinions) loved her from the start. She's been lovely to arrange with, is a great communicator, and has been super reliable and accommodating of our schedule. I know that Roxy is always going to be safe and having fun when she gets to go out with Jordan, which has been such incredible support to have while I'm working. I trust Jordan entirely with my home as well, and she's great about coming in and getting Roxy completely sorted when I'm stuck in work meetings. Roxy gets back with the biggest smile on her face every time!

This was my first experience with Rover….it was awesome.. Gretchen was great with communication …Olive loved her…perfect energy for our one year old ! I will definitely use Rover in the future….so easy and has a very professional manner which makes you feel safe entrusting your pup with them PD

Hailey was communicative, flexible and on time. She came by and spent time learning where my pup's favorite spots were, how to handle a big dog and avoid reactivity and was very sweet, caring and gentle throughout the walk. After asking a lot of good questions and a successful afternoon walk, I'm confident that we'll be booking Hailey again -- especially for dog sitting when we go out of town.

Andrea has been incredible! She comes three times a day and is always consistent, reliable, and thoughtful. When unexpected things happen- like the lights going out- she handles it calmly and finds solutions without missing a beat. Roxy is always well cared for, and we have total peace of mind knowing Andrea is looking after them. We highly recommend her!

We had a wonderful experience with Luna and will definitely contact her again for any dog walking/sitting needs! Communication was exceptional with daily updates and photos. There was a lot of unexpected changes while we were away and Luna was super accommodating. This was our first time using Rover and feel like we hit the jackpot with her! Thank you so much Luna! You went above and beyond for us and we truly appreciate it! Mahalo Nui!
