“Michelle was wonderful. She offered to do a free meet and greet beforehand, which was very helpful for us to ease our minds about leaving our dogs with someone new. She showered our dogs with love, sent photos and was very responsive whenever we checked in.”

About: I have taken care of 3 family dogs and 1 cat since I was 7 years old, training, bathing and caring for them regularly. I also volunteered at a humane shelter for 3 years (out of state) where I worked with dogs and cats. My days are structured. I balance running training work and studying. I am very organized so that I can meet your busy schedule and routine. One of my side hustles is being a personal assistant. I am known to be trustworthy, neat and respectful in other people’s houses and with their things.

“Ryan is a caring and capable sitter. My girl, halo is quite hyper. Only he can hadle her. He fed halo twice a day and a walk. Halo is very health and strong under his help. I'll definitely rebook Ryan.”

“Lei is a true animal lover at heart, you can just tell from how happy and excited she was to care for our pup. She was a reliable and trustworthy care taker for our dog and home while we were off island. She made sure to communicate well about our pup and home. Our pup was happy and seemed to have a great time with Lei. I would highly recommend her for house/pet sitting or any other needs.”

“Liz is the best fur baby sitter ever! She was so wonderful and took the best care of my girls. She agreed to meet prior to the pet/house sitting reservation. I have 2 chihuahua/jack russels one is sweet as pie and the other has a touch of little woman syndrome and it takes her a minute to warm up. Liz meet Cielo and she hopped right in her lap no barking! I was shocked and relieved. On the return my flight was delayed and she agreed to stay a bit longer until we got home. Liz is so kind and accommodating. She also sent lots of adorable fotos, I plan on framing a couple. It brightened each day away and I was relieved to see them eating snacks and living their best life. It’s the next day/first day home and my dogs are moping around missing her. I feel like chopped liver. Lol! I may have to hire her for some play dates with them. I would highly recommend Liz! She will give your pet the Royal Treatment ?. Mahalos Liz! #dogwhisperer ?”

“We used Veronica to house sit and to watch our cat and dog. Veronica communicate with us daily about our animals and sent us pictures. She was super friendly and listened to all of our needs in taking care of our animals. I would recommend Veronica and definitely will be using her again to watch our animals.”

About: I have experience with pets from various backgrounds from elderly, puppies/kitten, special needs, and a spectrum of rescue pets. So far I have been dubbed the “Favorite Aunt” of all the pets I have cared for and look forward to being the same for your fur baby! I have a family pet of my own that is elderly and low maintenance. We go to the park or for a short hike 2-3 times a week. I feed, clean, and even offer treats to pets. My family pet eats 2x per day and gets treats after going to the bathroom outside. I do the same for pets I sit, unless the parent objects. At clients home, I follow the pet parent’s instructions on care to make sure things are consistent for the fur baby.

“Mike is AMAZING! We booked him to stay at our house with our 2 dogs. Regarding our dogs: One of our dogs is a rescue and can be overly anxious which causes him to be aggressive. In our intro meeting, our rescue dog was being problematic. However, Mike has worked with dogs like him and luckily, my dog's temper tantrums didn't deter him from watching my dogs. During his stay, my dog quickly warmed up to Mike and are now great friends. It speaks volumes to Mike's patience and experience with trouble dogs. Regarding the House Sitting: I don't think necessarily was part of the job description but I do have an older house that unfortunately decided to throw Mike some curve balls during his time watching my dogs. The wind took a window off its hinges and shattered glass all over and my refrigerator sprung a leak. Lucky again for us that Mike is very level headed, communicated the problems to us, and found solutions quickly to remedy the situation. We came back to the window mess being cleaned up, the fridge in working order, and towels used laundered and folded. Overall, I'm incredibly thankful for Mike and will certainly book him again the next time we're out of town.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was young, helping family and friends whenever they traveled or had busy schedules. Whether it was just for the day or a few weeks, I’ve always loved making sure their pups felt safe, happy, and well cared for. A couple of years ago, I had the incredibly rewarding experience of fostering a rescue dog here on the island—and that’s when I decided to take my passion for pet care more seriously. When my neighbor had to move away, I stepped in to care for her pup and eventually found her a loving forever home. Caring for dogs is something I genuinely love and take pride in. I have a very flexible schedule this summer while I’m on break from school, which allows me to spend plenty of quality time with your pup! I'm available for frequent check-ins, walks, and extended stays to make sure your dog is well cared for. While I’m currently exploring a part-time job on the side, pet care is a top priority, and I remain very open and committed to my availability. I live up in the valleys with plenty of other furry friend owners! It is a calm area with a super friendly community! I also have a little yard they can use for quick potty breaks.
About: Fur babies are family to me. I love training puppies and giving any dog or animal the unconditional love they provide us back. I’ve cared for dogs of every kind since I was 10 years old. I am always a trusted source for family and neighbors when it comes to them going on vacation. I promise you’ll be stress free and be able to enjoy your time away. I have open availability on Mondays and Tuesdays, and I’m available in the mornings Wednesday through Sunday until about 1:00 PM. I’m reliable, punctual, and happy to coordinate schedules in advance to ensure consistent care for your pet. I provide visits and stays in my clients’ homes only, allowing pets to stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I prioritize safety, close supervision, and clear communication, and I always treat your home with respect and care.
“Colleen was an absolutely wonderful dog sitter. She was incredibly flexible with our schedule and consistently attentive, patient, and loving toward our pups. She truly went above and beyond by taking them on hikes, giving them plenty of walks, and making sure all of their individual needs were met so they stayed happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Her attention to detail really stood out, especially since she gave one of our dogs medication and made sure it was administered correctly. What also meant so much to us was her communication. Colleen provided daily check-ins and updates, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away from home. It was clear how much she genuinely cared about our dogs, and we felt completely confident knowing they were in such great hands. We would absolutely recommend Colleen to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and dedicated dog sitter, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book her again!”

“Milan did a wonderful job taking care of our two cats and our apartment and plants. She was genuinely affectionate with our cats while we were gone (so much so that she seemed to win over our shy cat who tends to hide from strangers!). Milan was responsive, sent daily pictures, and left the house clean and the cats happy. She’s an all around kind, friendly, and responsible person, and we’ll definitely book again if she’s available on our next trip!”

About: I’ve always had a dog in the family since I was young. I’ve had dogs from Yorkies to Pitbulls. I currently own a Aussie mix as well as outdoor cats. I give all my animals the extra time and attention they deserve I have a loose schedule currently therefore I have lots of time to enjoy my pets and others. I enjoy being outside and watching dogs have the best time outdoors. I make sure the dogs are always fenced in if outside at my own home. They are allowed on the couches, bed, and carpet. I make sure they are feed with treats so often. They are in a safe environment with me.
About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life. I grew up on farmland, so my family had much room for new animals and we took advantage of the land. This has resulted in me gaining experience to care for 6 cats at once, 2 dogs, 2 pigs, a bearded dragon, a hedgehog, and fish! I’m currently a full time student so I have flexibility to take dogs on walks before, between, or after classes. I am also an early riser so I can work with that too. Unfortunately I cannot bring pets into my space, as I live in a small area and it would not be best for animals, but I would love to accommodate what works best for each client.

Palolo pet parents share their Rover experiences
We used Fumie for the first time last week and she did a great job. She stayed at our house with our dogs. When she came over to introduce herself, she got down on the ground and met our dogs first. And, they loved her!! We didn’t worry at all while we were gone and came back to our house without a thing amiss. I highly recommend Fumie!

Debbi is an incredible woman and dog sitter. She took exceptional care of my two 14 yr old senior huskies and administered their medication along with taking blood glucose readings x2 a day and administering insulin to our diabetic dog. During the stay our dog experienced unexpected medical decline and Debbi went above and beyond to communicate and accommodate her needs. Thank you Debbi for your wonderful care and aloha.

Varvara was a wonderful sitter for my boy! They walked and played, he was a happy guy. I received pictures and commentary every day, which is so helpful for my own mindset. I was a happy owner! My house was just as I left it. I would definitely use her services again.

Thank you Chase and Charlie! We (Randi and I) are so happy with the care Chase provided for Randi. Charlie was a great influence on Randi with helping her learn to be more comfortable on walks and with socialization. I highly recommend Chase! Thank you so much for you excellent care of Randi!

Kambrye did an amazing job caring for my pup while I was away. She made sure my dog got her medication twice a day, sent regular picture updates, and communicated quickly anytime she had a question or noticed something. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in such good hands. I’ll definitely be booking with her again!

Sam showed up early and was wonderful with my Tibetan Terrier, Shaku, who has separation anxiety. She understood how to calm him and did a great job. I would enthusiastically welcome her back anytime. And while not required for being a great dog-sitter, Sam is a principled, intelligent, compassionate, and fascinating person who gives me hope for the future. It's just the cherry-on-top that she loves dogs and took such good care of mine.

Our two dogs are older and often seem stressed and sickly when we pick them up from the Dog Sitter. However, after they spent nearly 2 weeks with Samantha we came home to two very happy and healthy dogs. She took excellent care of them and our home. She even baked us cookies to welcome us home! Highly recommend!

Alyssa always takes such great care of our pets. They love her, she sends daily check in texts/photos, and we never have concerns leaving our fur babies in her care while we are gone. We will absolutely reach out to her first whenever our pets need someone to take care of them.

Libby was great during our meet & greet with Jeter! He normally takes a bit to warm up to strangers, but he walked right up to her and licked her face within the first 10 mins! He’s got some separation anxiety and so we needed someone to stay with him the entire evening. There was one night that she wouldn’t be available, but she offered alternatives. When she did stay with him, she was attentive and caring. Would definitely use her again!

⸻ This was my first time using Rover. I was nervous leaving my senior dog with someone new. Deni has anxiety, but I felt at ease as soon as I met Agatha. She has a calm and kind demeanor. She made both me and Deni comfortable right away. I’m so grateful for the care she gave. I would gladly book with her again.
