About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 6 1/2 or 7; they always gravitate towards me! Constantly caring for any lovely pets big to small in and out of my neighborhood from the age of 10. From senior care to newborns I’ve been pet sitting for a long while. Just because most dogs are bigger than me doesn’t mean I won’t tackle them so they get a proper brushing or a nice bath! Birds, Guinea pigs and bunnies, too. Since I’m currently unemployed my schedule is extremely flexible I'm available most weekdays after 9am. Weekend availability varies and will have to be discussed 1o1 I work extremely diligently with written rules and verbal explanations, I adjust to you and your pets needs and act accordingly. Im attentive and your satisfaction along with your pets health is my number one priority. I try to form bonds with any and all animals I will be spending time with whether it’s an hour or 2 days. About: I’ve grown up with dogs and other pets my entire life and currently have a husky of my own, so I’m very comfortable caring for dogs with lots of energy, strong personalities, and specific routines. Having a husky has given me plenty of experience with daily exercise, long walks, basic training, grooming, and keeping an energetic dog happy and stimulated. I’ve also cared for pets for friends and family over the years, including both younger, high-energy dogs and older dogs who need a little more patience and attention. I’m comfortable following specific feeding schedules, administering basic medications, and adapting to each pet’s normal routine. As a former EMT and current PA student, I’m attentive to changes in behavior or health and comfortable staying calm if something unexpected happens. Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and will treat your pet with the same care and attention I give my own. I’ll be on Oʻahu from October 18th through November 14th for one of my medical school clinical rotations in Kailua. During that time, I’ll have a fairly consistent clinical schedule, so pet care fits naturally into my mornings and evenings. I’ll be available for feeding, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention before and after my rotation each day, as well as more flexibility on my days off. Since I’ll be staying locally for the entire month, I’m also happy to work with your pet’s usual routine as much as possible. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet and home in someone else’s care. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely and try to keep each pet’s normal routine as consistent as possible, including feeding, walks, medications, exercise, and any house rules. I’m very mindful about keeping doors, gates, and yards secure, especially with pets that like to explore or make a run for it. I’ll also keep your home clean and tidy, bring in packages or mail, and keep you updated with photos and messages so you know how things are going. I’m happy to follow any specific instructions you have for your pet or home.

Penny usually barks at new people but she didn’t bark once at Kaitlyn which is when I knew that Kaitlyn was perfect for Penny. She was able to get close and feel at ease. She did an amazing job at watching Penny and kept me updated with texts and pictures throughout the day which was amazing and reassured me that my dog was given love and care the whole time. My previous Rover sitter had not contacted me in a couple days and Kaitlyn was able to squeeze me in at the last minute! I am so grateful for that. I will definitely be seeking out Kaitlyn again for any future days that I am away from Penny as she is very trustworthy and amazing with fur babies. I’ll know she’ll be well taken care.
