“Such great doggie sitters! They provided in-condo stay for my 2 Aussies and all went so well. Came home to happy dogs and a roomba running! Thank you both so much :)”

“Josh has totally won over my complicated pup! I was so concerned about leaving, not only did Josh put my worries to rest, it became apparent immediately that he could handle anything that came up and my dog excitedly waited for him every day as his new best friend! I will never be hesitant to leave as long as Josh is available!”

About: I love animals and have had dogs my whole life. I have a work from home job so I have availability almost any time of day. I have the most experience with small breeds but I have watched medium sized dogs as well. I work from home so I am super flexible. I can make Sunday through Saturday work. I can also stay the night and stay most of the day. I will not be able to have pets come stay in my own home but can come stay in yours. I am familiar with using crates if needed
“Liz is the best!!! Every time I go out of town I trust Liz to stay with my 2 dogs!! She is wonderful and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter!!!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tiare was an absolutely amazing dog sitter! She took the time to come meet my dog beforehand, which really put me at ease. Throughout the six days she watched my dog, she was incredibly communicative, sending regular updates and photos, which I really appreciated. Not only did she take great care of my pup, but she was also the perfect house guest—she cleaned up after herself and treated my home with the utmost respect. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be hiring her again! Highly recommend!”

“Claire was SO sweet and attentive to my pets. She sent lots of updates and went the extra mile in so many ways. We are so appreciative and the pets absolutely loved her. Looking forward to working with Claire in the future!”

“Such a sweet, trustworthy person. We booked her last minute and she did great. Sent lots of photos with our pups, handled some house things that came up and overall very communicative and responsive!”

“Colleen was an absolutely wonderful dog sitter. She was incredibly flexible with our schedule and consistently attentive, patient, and loving toward our pups. She truly went above and beyond by taking them on hikes, giving them plenty of walks, and making sure all of their individual needs were met so they stayed happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Her attention to detail really stood out, especially since she gave one of our dogs medication and made sure it was administered correctly. What also meant so much to us was her communication. Colleen provided daily check-ins and updates, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away from home. It was clear how much she genuinely cared about our dogs, and we felt completely confident knowing they were in such great hands. We would absolutely recommend Colleen to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and dedicated dog sitter, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book her again!”

“Mike took great care of my 3 French bulldogs and my apartment for a week while I was away for Thanksgiving. All my dogs are under 2 years old so I was nervous how they’d do as this was my first time away from them. Mike walked them 3x a day, kept them quiet, broke up scuffles over toys, sent me/my boyfriend pictures, etc. My landlords live right downstairs and also said Mike did a great job.”

“We used Veronica to house sit and to watch our cat and dog. Veronica communicate with us daily about our animals and sent us pictures. She was super friendly and listened to all of our needs in taking care of our animals. I would recommend Veronica and definitely will be using her again to watch our animals.”

About: I have taken care of 3 family dogs and 1 cat since I was 7 years old, training, bathing and caring for them regularly. I also volunteered at a humane shelter for 3 years (out of state) where I worked with dogs and cats. My days are structured. I balance running training work and studying. I am very organized so that I can meet your busy schedule and routine. One of my side hustles is being a personal assistant. I am known to be trustworthy, neat and respectful in other people’s houses and with their things.
“This was my first time using Roover.com so I was very nervous to leave her with someone we never met. Something about Malia’s photo with her sweet smile and eyes told me to select her. We are lucky her was available. Hoku took to her immediately. We will definitely use her again. Thank you again”

About: I have experience with pets from various backgrounds from elderly, puppies/kitten, special needs, and a spectrum of rescue pets. So far I have been dubbed the “Favorite Aunt” of all the pets I have cared for and look forward to being the same for your fur baby! I have a family pet of my own that is elderly and low maintenance. We go to the park or for a short hike 2-3 times a week. I feed, clean, and even offer treats to pets. My family pet eats 2x per day and gets treats after going to the bathroom outside. I do the same for pets I sit, unless the parent objects. At clients home, I follow the pet parent’s instructions on care to make sure things are consistent for the fur baby.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was young, helping family and friends whenever they traveled or had busy schedules. Whether it was just for the day or a few weeks, I’ve always loved making sure their pups felt safe, happy, and well cared for. A couple of years ago, I had the incredibly rewarding experience of fostering a rescue dog here on the island—and that’s when I decided to take my passion for pet care more seriously. When my neighbor had to move away, I stepped in to care for her pup and eventually found her a loving forever home. Caring for dogs is something I genuinely love and take pride in. I have a very flexible schedule this summer while I’m on break from school, which allows me to spend plenty of quality time with your pup! I'm available for frequent check-ins, walks, and extended stays to make sure your dog is well cared for. While I’m currently exploring a part-time job on the side, pet care is a top priority, and I remain very open and committed to my availability. I live up in the valleys with plenty of other furry friend owners! It is a calm area with a super friendly community! I also have a little yard they can use for quick potty breaks.
About: I have had pups my entire life. I am an absolute animal lover. We currently have 2 spoiled frenchies that love having playmates come over. We have a large fenced in yard so they get plenty of playtime outside as well. I am a personal trainer as well. I am home most of the day because my clients come to train in my home. When I do have to leave for something, someone is typically home. Our pups are rarely ever alone. We have a large fenced yard but also love to take walks if you pup likes to get out. Extremely detail oriented and responsible. I take care of our little visitors as I would someone in my family. I send plenty of updates and photos to ease your mind when away.
Waimanalo pet parents share their Rover experiences
Elaina took great care of Olive and Limu while we were out of town for a long weekend. She kept us updated including photos and followed all of our instructions! She left our place cleaner than when she got there and clearly seems to love Olive and Limu almost as much as we do ❤️

Alyssa was a last-minute overnight, in-our-home pet sitter, and she was excellent! Our usual non-Rover helper was sick and we scrambled! She was so prompt that we were able to communicate almost immediately, and she was very respectful. I felt heard while voicing my concerns, and respected when my young child woke up and I had to interrupt our conversation. She is promptly communicative, she left the home in better shape than she found it, and most importantly, she took perfect care for our two little baby dogs, with receipts :)! I will definitely reach out for any future trips, as she’s professional and trust-worthy for your fur babies!
