Care includes feeding, exercise/ playtime, training, rest, medication routine, and socialization. The animals I have voluntarily fostered all required medication and rehabilitation due to injuries/illness from being stray animals. This experience taught me how to care for sick/injured animals as well.

A typical day
I am a very active person and love taking my own dog on walks around the neighborhood, too the beach, open fields, or many of the trails offered around the area. I would be happy to bring your dog anywhere that you feel comfortable and help them get out some energy and good exercise.

Pet care experience
I’ve spent my entire life around dogs and animals, helping raise my family’s pets and learning firsthand how to provide the best possible care. I’m also a volunteer with the Humane Society, where I’ve fostered injured dogs back to full recovery as well as kittens and cats ranging from just 2 weeks old to a few years old. I currently live in Kailua on Oahu and am excited to help as many pet owners as I can. I truly love animals and always treat them like family, making sure your furry loved one feels safe, happy, and well cared for. As an added bonus, I also offer complimentary pet photography for any pets I care for, so you’ll receive some special photos of your pet during their time with me. Through my experience, I understand that every pet has unique needs and routines. I provide personalized care that can include feeding, walks, playtime, training reinforcement, rest, medication administration, and socialization. I am comfortable administering medications to both cats and dogs, and many of the animals I’ve fostered required medical care and rehabilitation, giving me hands-on experience with sick or injured pets as well. I lived with Kara when she got her current dog Skye. I watched as Kara took the absolute best care of this dog and paid attention to every detail when it came to proper feeding, training, exercise, and overall making sure her pup was loved! It takes a lot to raise a new puppy on your own and she loved every minute of it. I have no doubt Kara would take the absolute best care of your animal!
