About: I’ve grown up with dogs, and my earliest memories involve reading stories to my golden retriever. I also spent a lot of time helping in my mom’s dog training classes, where I learned the importance of patience, understanding, and clear communication. Now, I care for my elderly, blind rescue dog, and I take him on all of my adventures, so I’m particularly experienced with senior and special needs pets. I’ve also fostered kittens and cared for friends’ pets, both short- and long-term. As a pet parent myself, I understand how stressful it can be to leave your beloved companion behind, which is why I make it a priority to ensure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s providing special care for seniors, helping with puppy training, or making sure any pet with unique needs is well looked after, I offer a calm, attentive, and loving presence that comes from years of experience I care for an elderly, special needs dog, so thoughtful, consistent pet care is already a big part of my daily life. As a postdoctoral research scholar, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to build my day around animal care—whether that means medication, gentle walks, or just spending quality time. I’m used to adjusting my routine to meet a pet’s needs, and I genuinely enjoy making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Care routines vary depending on the service provided. In my home, I ensure pets have a safe, clean, and comfortable environment with regular feeding, playtime, and exercise tailored to their needs. I follow any specific instructions from owners closely, including dietary preferences, medication schedules, and behavioral routines. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I aim to maintain their usual routine to reduce stress—this includes sticking to their regular schedule, keeping their environment tidy, and providing companionship. I always prioritize the pet’s well-being, safety, and happiness, whether they’re staying with me or I’m visiting them.

About: Hi there! I lost my baby girl 2 years and 5 months ago. I am not ready for another one, but need some doggie time. I’ve spent the last 3 years taking care of many different families doggies back in California. From pop ins for feeding and walks! To two weeks staying in their home for meals, walks, and snuggles! I find dog walking to be my hobby not a job! I am currently new to the area. With that being said I have tons of free time on my hands. I did just start a part time job. That only consist of 2-3 days a week for up to 5-6 hours a shift! I can be up early! And stay up late! Within my own home I make sure there is no escape routes, & nothing they can get into or that they can hurt themselves on. Your animal babies can expect lots of cuddles and safety from me!

About: I’ve had pets since I was little. Have my own transportation. I currently house sit and babysit too. Chocolate lab and rescue kitty owner ❤️ My schedule is very flexible as this is what I do full time while living in Hawaii! Experienced in overnight pet sitting and other animals as well. Communication is key. I understand that different animals have different needs so when caring for clients pets, I like to ask more about their specific preferences with their animals.

“Liana was very responsive and incredibly easy to coordinate and communicate with. She was also able to reliably administer medications and provide compassionate care for Coco while I was away!”

I respect your space, leave things tidy, and make sure your pet feels safe and loved while you’re away. If caring for pets in my home, I provide a calm, cozy environment with lots of attention and affection so they feel right at home.

“Mike took great care of my 3 French bulldogs and my apartment for a week while I was away for Thanksgiving. All my dogs are under 2 years old so I was nervous how they’d do as this was my first time away from them. Mike walked them 3x a day, kept them quiet, broke up scuffles over toys, sent me/my boyfriend pictures, etc. My landlords live right downstairs and also said Mike did a great job.”

“Mariah did an excellent job I received regular updates with photos of contented cats I think they preferred to have a nice person stay with them My home was in better condition than it had been I would definitely recommend her”

14. Lauren C.
“Lauren is always our first choice for pet and house sitting. She has worked for us for over two years and is dependable, attentive, and most importantly, deeply loved by our pets. Our dog, an Australian shepherd/border collie mix, needs both mental and physical exercise throughout the day. Lauren runs with him, plays games, and when we return from vacation, he is happy to see us but doesn't behave desperately like he sometimes does with others. You will be lucky to have Lauren watch your pets and home. She is second to none.”
