About: Hi my name is Jill! I have 4 years of dog training experience, though I do not offer dog training on Rover currently. I have my own dog, and have had and taken care of dogs my whole life. I am very well educated on dog behavior and health. I know how to tell signs of heat exhaustion and how to prevent it. I can remain calm, take action and think responsibly in a time of high stress. I know how to safely and correctly break up a dog fight, and how to prevent and de-escalate the situation. I am an equestrian, and can handle big animals, including big dogs. I have taken care of small animals, exotic animals, and very big animals. I have taken care of and trained different breeds, sizes, and ages of dogs including puppies, senior dogs, aggressive, reactive, confident, and timid dogs. I treat every dog as if they were my own and my priority is their safety over anything, and of course they’re happiness and comfortability. I know how to correctly use and introduce training tools, like prong collars, muzzles, slip lead, martingale, fur saver, choke chain, and more. I know when and when not to give water to prevent bloat. I also have grooming experience. I know how to safely introduce two dogs to each other. I’m very good at reading dog body language and keeping all animals safe and happy. Reading a dog’s body language and acting accordingly is very important to me, most dog lovers or walkers love dogs but wouldn’t truly know that a dog may be uncomfortable or overlook subtle negative signs. I am very grateful for the experience and knowledge I have worked hard to achieve to be able to do more than just love dogs but make a difference and advocate for them and keep them completely safe even from most overlooked dangers. I love dogs but more importantly I love being able to keep dogs happy and safe, and giving them the life they deserve. Your dog will be incredibly safe the entire time, and in responsible, educated, loving hands. I’m available for walking pets during the day until 5:30 pm. I’m able to do some weekends. I’m currently only doing Rover, so I have all the time for your pets! I won’t do drop in visits alone if someone is in the house for safety reasons, I will usually only do drop in visits for female owners because I am a young female. For walking dogs, I always check the ground too make sure it’s not too hot, I wait 30 minutes after a walk to give large amounts of water to prevent bloating, I know the area and what places are dog friendly if your dog needs shade and air conditioning. I carry pet corrector, which is a can of compressed air and completely harmless to scare off any aggressive/off leash dogs to prevent a fight. I don’t go to dog park unless asked because they can be an irresponsible and unsafe environment. I don’t do on leash greets to prevent fights. I carry poop bags, and water with the dogs. I don’t allow dogs to eat or drink anything that is not given to them to prevent illness. I’m very observant when on walk so I can keep myself and the dog safe.

About: I’ve been a pet-owner my whole life, from turtles to hamsters to dogs (of course!). I love caring for animals and am missing my dog dearly, which is why I’m here! I work from home four days a week, so I’m free to walk and/or check on your precious pet(s) as needed. I love animals and enjoy getting my steps in when I can! All animals are perfect and precious and quite frankly have never done anything bad. I love to play with, walk, and spoil our friends’ pets. About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was really young from my mom asking me to feed our dog and trim our dog and feed him to my friends and neighbors asking me to watch their dogs and check on them. I have officially walked a couple dogs on this app and I can fully say that every dog that I have cared for has always left with a smile on its face. I have five cats one fully grown and four kittens of my own. I clean up once a day for them to stay clean and I feed them twice a day and give them affection any chance I get. I use to have a dog before I moved to Hawaii and I would give him baths whenever he got dirty and I would feed him and mix food for him once a day. Now my dog lives with my mom in the mainland and he is still as healthy as can be. I make sure to pick up after the pet if they had made a mess. I make sure they have the attention needed. I feed and water the pet on the preferred times and I also bathe them if needed. If they need to be given medicine I will ask how you would prefer me to give them the said medicine. I will make sure that everything is in order when leaving the house and/or dropping off the animal.

About: I have owned dogs my entire life, and I have extensive experience in dog-walking and sitting, cat care, and home care, ever since I was a teenager. I love animals and am even a wildlife photographer. I have personal experience service training dogs for psychiatric service, as well. About: I have over five years of experience providing in-home dog sitting and pet care. I’ve cared for dogs of all different breeds, personalities, and sizes, from Chihuahuas to Great Danes! I’m comfortable with walking, feeding, playtime, basic routines, and giving dogs plenty of attention while their owners are away. About: My favorite part of dogs is their personality. Personally, I love a pup with a little sass (it keeps me young and entertained). I love hiking, being outdoors and long walks on the beach. If those are some of your dog’s hobbies I think we’ll get along just fine! I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, so taking care of them has always felt apart of my routine. My family dog’s name is Lulu, she is a 17 year old Papillon and ia partially blind and deaf, so I’m very comfortable with senior dogs and giving them the extra patience, attention, and care they need because they need it the most❤️‍🩹 Along with having fun, I truly care about making sure your dog feels comfortable and at home while you’re away. Whether that means keeping up with their usual routine or giving them a fun little staycation, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well care for. I currently work from 8-4 remotely. My schedule during the day is extremely flexible and can work around meetings. I don’t work on the weekends and are fully available. I love walking and happy to go on long walks throughout the day. If there are special requirements for your pup I’m happy to accommodate as best as I can!

About: I grew up with dogs my whole life, and I took care of others’ dogs since I was 12. I’d love the chance to take your dogs on walks until I’m able to have a dog of my own. I’d be happy to find a few dogs I can walk regularly. New to Oahu and excited to meet some new pups!
