“Shea was absolutely incredible. From the meet and greet to her last drop in visit she put a worried "mom" at ease. My son and I both have jobs that allow us to work from home, so for most of her life, Mahina (who has separation anxiety) had not been without human interaction for more then 3-5 hours. This was our first extended vacation away and we needed help break up the day for Mahina while our eldest son was at work. She came 5 days straight, was always on time and gave Mahina as much love and attention as any of her family members would. She even noticed some sores on her paw and inside her mouth and kept us updated on them while we were away. Her daily notes and pictures was honestly a big reason we were able to enjoy our vacation !! Thank you Shea and her wonderful assistants ❤❤❤❤”

About: Hi! I’m Mimi and I am 21 years old. All my life there were always pets in my house. We had 2 dogs ( Labrador and golden retriever) and 2 horses. I am super comfortable around dogs of any size especially larger dogs, I can walk, bath, and feed with no problem. I love cats as well!! I adopted my son (Simba) back in 2020 and he is the best thing to ever exist. He is a 17 pound orange fluff. I would love to care for your dog or cat!! I currently work remote in the mornings and I attend college during the day but I am free during the afternoon and nights usually! Monday and Tuesday I am available after 6, Wednesday-Friday I am available after 3, and Saturday and Sunday is pretty open! I am available for drop-ins, dog walking, and in client home care! About: I’ve had a dog for 3 years straight from the rescue. I understand the struggle of managing an untrained dog to the most well-behaved of dogs. How? Three years ago my dog was an absolute firecracker—she would ravage the house and even bite me at times. But through all that, it lit a fire in me to find a solution. I went from knowing nothing about how to manage dogs to absolutely knowing the ins and outs of dog behavior. My dog is a completely different dog now—she is mostly well-behaved and, most importantly, no longer hurting people. I train my dog daily to ensure that nightmare doesn’t occur again. I recently started training my friend’s dog and discovered a love for helping other pet owners and their dogs. With the knowledge and experience I’ve collected throughout the years of raising my own dog, I realized that I want to help more people. I started small, but now I want to take the next step by helping anyone I can with their dogs—even if it’s through something as simple as dog walking. Dogs are the most loving of animals, but what I’ve learned is that they require a great amount of leadership. It fits in perfectly. I'm currently working on my own business. I have very flexible hours and my schedule is not limited to any current job or schooling. I care for dogs according to their environment and behavior. I believe all dogs are different and require slight differences in methods of caretaking. The fundamentals still stay the same: I make sure to treat all dogs—whether they are my clients’ or my own—fairly and respectfully, while also maintaining leadership and setting appropriate boundaries.

About: Aloha! I am an avid animal lover and have always kept dogs my entire life. I grew up with dogs of many sizes and breeds, which allowed me to learn about the caretaking of dogs of all temperaments and personalities (pomeranians, labs, a golden retriever, german shorthair pointers, australian shepards, greyhounds, etc). Throughout my life, my family mainly had high energy hunting dogs, so I am very familiar with the level of dedication it takes to care for high energy breeds. 🌿🌿🌿 In the past few months I have fostered and cared for several dogs to help the Hawaiian Humane Society. I enjoy helping timid and under socialized animals find their footing in the world. While I do not currently have an animal, my roommate has a small dog named Frankie who I help care for :) 🌿🌿🌿 I work 3-4 days a week in the mornings as a barista, but the rest of my time is spent hanging out with dogs and taking them to see the island. I enjoy walks around the neighborhoods of O‘ahu to get to see more of the city. I also enjoy taking dogs to the local dog parks around the island, there are so many good ones! I enjoy showing pups various beaches (ones with minimal waves) and other bodies of water such as streams and ponds. I am quite outdoorsy and love to hike/walk/swim with dogs of all backgrounds and sizes ! 🌿🌿🌿 However, there is nothing I love more than snuggling up with your pup and a good book! This fall I am starting my graduate degree in library science, so I have plenty of reading material to get through if your pup is more of a couch potato. I currently work 3-4 days a week as a barista in the mornings, and in my time off I enjoy going on walks around my neighborhood of kaimuki, taking my roommates dog Frankie to the park across the street, going to the beach, and going on hikes/exploring the island. While I care for your animal, it is my goal to be the most respectful guest in your and your animal’s space. I am excited to be able to care for your pets in your absence and can’t wait to make sure they are properly exercised and fed everyday. I look forward to building bonds in the future — animal and human alike.
