My son and I both have jobs that allow us to work from home, so for most of her life, Mahina (who has separation anxiety) had not been without human interaction for more then 3-5 hours. This was our first extended vacation away and we needed help break up the day for Mahina while our eldest son was at work. She came 5 days straight, was always on time and gave Mahina as much love and attention as any of her family members would. She even noticed some sores on her paw and inside her mouth and kept us updated on them while we were away. About: I've taken care of animals since I was a child. Whether my own, family/friends' pets, or animals in a professional setting, I've been around and taken care of a wide variety of animals. I've worked in a veterinary hospital for 3+ years, working alongside veterinary technicians and anesthesiologists, assisting in cases and monitoring pets before and after surgery. I've had years of education on animal anatomy and physiology, as well as schooling in subjects such as cell biology and microbiology. I believe this specific education gives me an enlarged perspective on an individual pet and the ability to monitor their wellbeing. I've worked at a pet store, so I have extensive experience on pet food brands, enrichment techniques, supplemental care, and breed-specific considerations. I take this experience and knowledge at the forefront when caring for any animal. I went to school pursuing a veterinary path before deciding marine biology is more of my particular area of interest. I still carry my love for domestic animals, and as I don't have my furry babies on the island, I'd love to help care for others' pets. I'm working part-time as a barista and am looking to expand my career in animal photography! Ideally, I'll be able to have the ability to work with time and location freedom. My current flexibility allows me to show up as a great person sitter! I'm able to walk and/or watch dogs as frequently as needed, considering the distance and specific needs. I'm happy to talk and work out a schedule that works for both of us! I'm honest and prioritize honesty and communication, so I'm more than happy to chat. I live in the top story of a house with 3 other women. There is no backyard access, but I would be happy to take the pet for frequent walks, or a cat would be able to roam around my room. I think staying in the pet owner's space would be ideal, both for the pet's comfort and environmental constraints.

During drop-in visits, I focus on keeping their routine consistent with feeding, fresh water, litter care, and walks as needed. I’m dependable, punctual, and attentive to each pet’s needs, and I always treat them with patience, kindness, and respect. I have evening availability Monday through Friday from 5:30 PM to 10 PM, plus full availability on weekends for drop-ins, walks, and pet sitting. I’m flexible within these hours. I care for pets in their own home where they feel most comfortable and relaxed. I follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions or medications. I also make sure they get attention and companionship during each visit and keep their space clean and safe. I provide updates so you always know how your pet is doing while you’re away.

I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely enjoy bonding with every animal I meet. Pet parents trust me to treat their fur babies like family. I live in an apartment, but there’s a great dog park within walking distance where your pup can get plenty of playtime and fresh air. About: I have basic obedience training and enjoy training dogs to walk with their handler without pulling. I was a dog walker for the Hawaiian Humane Society for 2 years before I met my furever rescue. I understand a dog’s basic need for leadership, direction, companionship, socialization, i.e. safety. I have time to dog sit, go for a walk, take your dogs to a dog park, play with your doggies. I have a day job Monday through Friday with flexibility to work remotely at times. I would always prioritize looking after your babies. I will follow your instructions as far as where you prefer to keep your dog / cat in your home, what treats and foods your dog / cat prefers, and keep to their normal routine as much as possible.

About: After the death of our beloved dog, our family decided to take a break from dog ownership to heal and rest a bit. I have had dogs (usually more than 1 at a time) my whole life! Pet sitting is my way of loving on dogs during this busy stage of life when I cannot have my own. I would love to shower your dog with lots of love and attention! We do have a kitten in our home. She has adjusted very well to having dogs around. We are a homeschool family and are at home or near home most every day. I would never have to leave your pet for any extended period of time. Not only do we have a fenced in yard, but also live walking distance to a couple of beautiful parks, beaches, and a small dog park. Please be aware that I do have small children. Ages 3, 6, 10, & 12. I will love your pet like my own! Your beloved pet will have snuggles and pets and enjoy walks outside to our local park and dog park if you approve.
