About: I have owned dogs my entire life, and I have extensive experience in dog-walking and sitting, cat care, and home care, ever since I was a teenager. I love animals and am even a wildlife photographer. I have personal experience service training dogs for psychiatric service, as well. I am able to ensure not only premium, safe, and reliable love and care for your animals, but also your plants and the general welfare of your home while you’re away. If your animal has special needs or training curriculums, I am able to meet them, so your time away doesn’t become time off from necessary routines or specialized care. Additional services and excursions (hikes, dog parks, beach days, etc.) are available upon request. Mahalo for thinking of me for the care of your pet! I work part time in the evenings and am a member of a canoe paddling team that practices three to four times per week, so my schedule is flexible with plenty of time for your pets! Being a dog-owner myself, maintaining routines and going the extra mile for play and exercise is important to me. I am currently self-training my rescue for psychiatric service, so I am very comfortable working with dogs from a variety of backgrounds with different levels of confidence and social comfort. I have also cared for cats and am comfortable with their often varying levels of social needs, as well as their basic care. I will never use negative reinforcement with your animal, ensuring a gentle, fun, and trustworthy experience for your pet. Additional services and home care (plant care, delivery reception, maintenance/vendor monitoring, etc.) are available, as well.

About: I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I grew up having multiple dogs and cats at a time. I have helped by grandma, neighbors and family friends with dog sitting, bathing, and walking since I was young. I love cats and their personality! I am unfazed by cleaning up after animals and am a professional litter box cleaner. I would consider my professional experience to be close to 7 years (definitely longer but I have been reimbursed for my services for the past 7 years). I’m currently very flexible with my schedule, which allows me to easily work around your needs and your pet’s routine! Whether your furry friend needs a morning walk, a midday check-in, feeding, companionship, or some extra playtime and attention, I’m happy to be there. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, so I’m more than happy to accommodate their schedule as much as possible. About: Hi my name is Jill! I have 4 years of dog training experience, though I do not offer dog training on Rover currently. I have my own dog, and have had and taken care of dogs my whole life. I am very well educated on dog behavior and health. I know how to tell signs of heat exhaustion and how to prevent it. I can remain calm, take action and think responsibly in a time of high stress. I know how to safely and correctly break up a dog fight, and how to prevent and de-escalate the situation. I am an equestrian, and can handle big animals, including big dogs. I have taken care of small animals, exotic animals, and very big animals. I have taken care of and trained different breeds, sizes, and ages of dogs including puppies, senior dogs, aggressive, reactive, confident, and timid dogs. I treat every dog as if they were my own and my priority is their safety over anything, and of course they’re happiness and comfortability. I know how to correctly use and introduce training tools, like prong collars, muzzles, slip lead, martingale, fur saver, choke chain, and more. I know when and when not to give water to prevent bloat. I also have grooming experience. I know how to safely introduce two dogs to each other. I’m very good at reading dog body language and keeping all animals safe and happy. Reading a dog’s body language and acting accordingly is very important to me, most dog lovers or walkers love dogs but wouldn’t truly know that a dog may be uncomfortable or overlook subtle negative signs. I am very grateful for the experience and knowledge I have worked hard to achieve to be able to do more than just love dogs but make a difference and advocate for them and keep them completely safe even from most overlooked dangers. I love dogs but more importantly I love being able to keep dogs happy and safe, and giving them the life they deserve. Your dog will be incredibly safe the entire time, and in responsible, educated, loving hands. I’m available for walking pets during the day until 5:30 pm. I’m able to do some weekends. I’m currently only doing Rover, so I have all the time for your pets! I won’t do drop in visits alone if someone is in the house for safety reasons, I will usually only do drop in visits for female owners because I am a young female. For walking dogs, I always check the ground too make sure it’s not too hot, I wait 30 minutes after a walk to give large amounts of water to prevent bloating, I know the area and what places are dog friendly if your dog needs shade and air conditioning. I carry pet corrector, which is a can of compressed air and completely harmless to scare off any aggressive/off leash dogs to prevent a fight. I don’t go to dog park unless asked because they can be an irresponsible and unsafe environment. I don’t do on leash greets to prevent fights. I carry poop bags, and water with the dogs. I don’t allow dogs to eat or drink anything that is not given to them to prevent illness. I’m very observant when on walk so I can keep myself and the dog safe.

About: I recently lost my senior babie due to old age. I'm wanting to fill that spot by helping others with their fur babies. I have no other animals at home. I'm good with large dogs. My babie was dog averse so very good with dogs who need a little extra patience on walks, etc... I've sat small and medium dogs. I've sat several cats. I can issue meds as needed. Well rounded in senior care. Looking to love and care for those that don't want to be boarded or are most comfy at home. I work full time 7-4pm. I can visits prior and after work. If you're close enough to down town, I may be able to coordinate a lunch check up. I'm free in the evenings after 430pm. I work from home on Thursdays and Fridays so there is full time care available those days as well as most Saturdays and Sundays. I am now a pet free home. I have a small yard at my apartment that has gates on either side. I have an easy walking neighborhood with lots of potty spots. I've walked large dogs, little dogs, and medium dogs. I've not walked a cat yet, but willing to try. I will care for your pet as if it is mine. My apartment has inside cameras for viewing when I'm at work. Please reach out with any questions at all.
