🗓️ This is a full-time passion and profession of mines, so it allows for a nui (large) degree of flexibility with scheduling for walks, drop-in visits, and hale (house)/pet sitting. Please note: this is outside of prior commitments that have already been scheduled. Additionally, I have chosen to be fully insured for the assurance and safety of any client. This runs completely separate from the “The Rover Guarantee” that Rover offers. 🚙 I have my own reliable kaʻa (car) that is always kept up-to-date with insurance, registration, and safety check.

📏 I believe that adhering to rules, guidelines, and verbal manaʻo (feedback)/ʻike (knowledge) given by pet parents is paramount to maintaining loving and caring consistency with their fur pēpē (baby’s). 🐈🐈⬛🐇 Any animal, regardless of species, will be treated by me with the utmost care, respect, and ALOHA (unconditional love, kindness) that I provide to fellow humans and my own “fur keiki (children)”! ❤️💕 Animals exhibit the purest form of love on this honua (earth), and are worthy of being shown the same. ❤️

In general, I like to take a holistic approach to each animal, as they have a moʻolelo (story) and a history that is truly their own. Once I am fully aware about the history, personality, and physical health of an animal, I can make adjustments and accommodations accordingly.
A typical day
First off, there are certain things about the animal that I would love to inquire about, such as: ☑️ Animal species ☑️ Socialization with other humans and other animals ☑️ Age ☑️ Personality/Temperament ☑️ Physical health ☑️ Miscellaneous (Example given: on medication, has run away before, etc.) Once I am makaʻala (aware) of these bits of ʻike (information), I will have a better holistic view of the animal. Then, I can consult with the pet parent as to the animal’s preferred activities and interests, and customize fun and interesting experiences for them.

🌺 Welina mai kākou (Welcome to everyone)! 🌺 🐾 🤙🏾 Mahalo (thank you) for taking the time to read through my Rover profile! Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any nīnau (questions)! 🐾 As far back as my earliest memories can be recalled, I have had a pure and unconditional love for all animals. In fact, my childhood hoaloha (friends) had predicted that I would become a veterinarian when I grew up. 🐾 I ended up in the profession of helping fellow humans, but my love for animals has never waned. In fact, it has steadily evolved to something much more pronounced and profound as I have gotten old(er). 🐾 As an adult, I have had the great honor of having a mouse, indoor-only rabbit, a lovebird, and multiple nā pōpoki (cats). My love for these sentient denizens of the honua (earth) extends to other animal species, of course! 🐾 Clients have also entrusted me with the care of their other animals! These have included: a tortoise, ducks, mynah birds, saltwater and freshwater iʻa (fish)!

I highly recommend booking Janey. She is incredible! She loves animals and will make sure your pet is well cared for. Thank you so much for taking care of my cats, Canelo and Lio (even though they were up to no good some days lol). You will definitely be my first choice if I need to find a sitter through Rover again. You made my vacation stress-free, knowing that they were being taken care of.
Janey was incredible! She followed all instructions exactly and was extremely communicative regarding what our cat, Millie, was up to and happenings in the house. And we now have a bunch of new favorites photos of Millie! Mahalo, Janey!
I’ve used Janey a few times now and have no regrets. I feel guilty leaving my 16 yr old Colbie when I go on short trips, but I feel secure that Janey cares for him like her own. She is observant and reports if anything is out of the ordinary. As long as Janey is available and my Colbie is alive, I will keep on using her as my go to dog sitter.
I rarely leave town but after meeting Janey I knew my old gal would be in great hands. Every walk came with photos of my baby and they gave me peace of mind that it was OK to be out of town for the weekend. Janey made the entire experience seamless and even fun Her attention to detail and positive attitude was what my family needed. 10 out of 10 would recommend and rebook again.... that ryhmed btw.
