Safety, trust & environment
Each pet has a daily routine that they’re used to. With the potential stress of their parent(s)/family not being around, I try my best to ensure that their routine can continue as usual, in the comfort of their own home.
Information Shea A. would like to know about your pet
It’s important for me to know if your pet is aggressive, fearful, or triggered by other animals, humans, or environmental things. Also, knowing their quirks (ie eating things they shouldn’t, escaping through doors/gates, going through the rubbish, etc) or medical issues (allergies, diseases, etc) will be very helpful in creating a safe environment for all pets.
A typical day
Playtime (for any animals) that have high energy, walks in the neighborhood for dogs that like being outdoors, and cuddles for seniors or those with limited mobility. No off-leash walking or dog parks to ensure the safety of your dog(s).

Former vet tech, animal lover
Pet care experience
(Currently not accepting new clients, repeat clients only) I am a former vet tech with experience in medical treatments, surgery recovery, and special needs handling. I can administer medication orally, topically, subcutaneously, and rectally, if needed (I can also do IM if pet can be handled alone). Prior to working in a clinic, I volunteered for a no-kill animal shelter, as a kennel attendant and foster mom. I can handle any age or size, and will adjust activities and interactions with his or her personality. I do well with shy, skittish dogs/cats and hyper, playful ones, too. For the safety and well-being of your pet, I try to avoid interactions with other animals, no dog parks or off-leash walking. My priorities will always be the safety, health, and happiness of each pet.

Reviews

Shea is wonderful! She is trustworthy and a great communicator. I know that I have nothing to worry about when Shea is taking care of our kitty cat.

Shea’s communication is great. She kept me informed on any small changes with my senior kitty. I highly recommend Shea!

Our senior cat had some accidents while we were away and Shea let us know as soon as possible. She was great at communicating what happened and how our cat was acting. I highly recommend Shea. I know our cat is in good hands with her.

The best cat sitter Iʻve ever had...not to mention the stellar cat photography! Worth every penny and more.
