About: Hi my name is Jill! I have 4 years of dog training experience, though I do not offer dog training on Rover currently. I have my own dog, and have had and taken care of dogs my whole life. I am very well educated on dog behavior and health. I know how to tell signs of heat exhaustion and how to prevent it. I can remain calm, take action and think responsibly in a time of high stress. I know how to safely and correctly break up a dog fight, and how to prevent and de-escalate the situation. I am an equestrian, and can handle big animals, including big dogs. I have taken care of small animals, exotic animals, and very big animals. I have taken care of and trained different breeds, sizes, and ages of dogs including puppies, senior dogs, aggressive, reactive, confident, and timid dogs. I treat every dog as if they were my own and my priority is their safety over anything, and of course they’re happiness and comfortability. I know how to correctly use and introduce training tools, like prong collars, muzzles, slip lead, martingale, fur saver, choke chain, and more. I know when and when not to give water to prevent bloat. I also have grooming experience. I know how to safely introduce two dogs to each other. I’m very good at reading dog body language and keeping all animals safe and happy. Reading a dog’s body language and acting accordingly is very important to me, most dog lovers or walkers love dogs but wouldn’t truly know that a dog may be uncomfortable or overlook subtle negative signs. I am very grateful for the experience and knowledge I have worked hard to achieve to be able to do more than just love dogs but make a difference and advocate for them and keep them completely safe even from most overlooked dangers. I love dogs but more importantly I love being able to keep dogs happy and safe, and giving them the life they deserve. Your dog will be incredibly safe the entire time, and in responsible, educated, loving hands. I’m available for walking pets during the day until 5:30 pm. I’m able to do some weekends. I’m currently only doing Rover, so I have all the time for your pets! I won’t do drop in visits alone if someone is in the house for safety reasons, I will usually only do drop in visits for female owners because I am a young female. For walking dogs, I always check the ground too make sure it’s not too hot, I wait 30 minutes after a walk to give large amounts of water to prevent bloating, I know the area and what places are dog friendly if your dog needs shade and air conditioning. I carry pet corrector, which is a can of compressed air and completely harmless to scare off any aggressive/off leash dogs to prevent a fight. I don’t go to dog park unless asked because they can be an irresponsible and unsafe environment. I don’t do on leash greets to prevent fights. I carry poop bags, and water with the dogs. I don’t allow dogs to eat or drink anything that is not given to them to prevent illness. I’m very observant when on walk so I can keep myself and the dog safe.

About: I've taken care of my own pets since I was seven. Additionally friends and neighbors have trusted me to walk and care for their dogs, and care for their cats. I am available on weekdays after 2pm and all day on weekends. I am very active so do not mind an animal that requires lots of exercise. I will try to keep your pet's schedule as normal as possible so it is like you never left. I will keep their life just as you would, giving them plenty of attention and love.

About: I’ve been a pet-owner my whole life, from turtles to hamsters to dogs (of course!). I love caring for animals and am missing my dog dearly, which is why I’m here! I work from home four days a week, so I’m free to walk and/or check on your precious pet(s) as needed. I love animals and enjoy getting my steps in when I can! About: From watching my neighbors dogs for their vacations, to watching cats and dogs for clients, I have loved every second. People have relied on me for years to provide good quality care (and snuggles) to their four-legged family members. I have experience doing short day visits as well as multi-day overnight visits. I also have experience caring for multiple animals at one time (ex: two dogs and a cat). I am a full-time PhD student, but I can do a lot of my work from home (besides classes), so I will have a lot of availability to watch your pets. I am free weekends (Friday (night), Saturday (night), and Sunday (night). I also am free on Mondays before 1pm and after 3pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays after 4pm, and Wednesdays after 5pm. As I live in a no-pet apartment (sadly), I offer house sitting and other services that involve me coming to your home. I am very willing to arrange a meet-up before services so that I can meet you and your pet(s). I have experience doing multiple overnight sitting visits, and I am willing to discuss any safety measures you would feel comfortable with!

About: I’m dependable, organized, and used to managing responsibilities professionally. Your pet will be treated like family in a safe, calm environment. I’ve had multi more pets growing up. I currently work full time at Heco but remote most days. I am available Mondays Fridays and the weekends. We will be able to take walks, go to parks and enjoy the weather. I have a gated yard and a large home for the pets to play and run around. I Also have parks around the area to go to.

I’m conscientious with maintaining a high level of cleanliness and upkeep of your cat litter area, if applicable. About: I’ve always loved being around animals and getting to know their different personalities. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, playing with them, and making sure they get plenty of attention. I’m responsible, patient, and will always do my best to make your pets feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away! I’m a full-time student at UH Mānoa, but I have plenty of free time in the afternoons and evenings! My schedule is pretty flexible, so I’m able to work around different needs. About: I’ve grown up with both cats and dogs, ranging from puppies/kittens through adult/senior cats and dogs as well. I will always make sure your pet is taken care of and well loved! About: I've taken care of dogs, cats, rabbits, and birds throughout my life. Within the past decade I have cared for those types of my family and friends' pets from pet sitting them at my place to overnight sitting at theirs, as well as my own cat, Pluto, for the the past 11 years. I am currently in school to be a counselor on Tuesdays and Thursdays and would like to use my Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and some Sundays helping people play or walk or spend quality time with their pets. For the past decade I have casually helped care for others' pets. The most involved care was a recent overnight-pet sitting for 15 days: Two adorable aussie shephards, which included all basic care (feeding, walking, playing ball, brushing, and washing) as well as taking one to weekly vet appointments.

About: I have not had any dogs of my own but have always been surrounded by them growing up. All of my neighbors had dogs who I would sometimes walk and play with. My uncle also had Labrador Retrievers who I helped train when I was younger. My family has always had a cat in the house since I was little so I am very familiar with their care. I can be available M-F at 6-6:30am to do morning feeds and at 5pm to do evening feeds. I can be available on Saturday mornings at 8 am to do morning feeds, I have work in the afternoon evening so I will not be available for evening feeds. On Sunday, I can be available for morning feeds and evening feeds at variable times. I am respectful of others space and will only do what is necessary to care for the kitty/doggo unless given permission to do otherwise. Depending on the behavior of the animal, I can stay for up to 20 minutes to give them attention/play with them or just feed them/refill water/take them out to use the bathroom and then skedaddle.
