About: I have owned dogs my entire life, and I have extensive experience in dog-walking and sitting, cat care, and home care, ever since I was a teenager. I love animals and am even a wildlife photographer. I have personal experience service training dogs for psychiatric service, as well. I am able to ensure not only premium, safe, and reliable love and care for your animals, but also your plants and the general welfare of your home while you’re away. If your animal has special needs or training curriculums, I am able to meet them, so your time away doesn’t become time off from necessary routines or specialized care. Additional services and excursions (hikes, dog parks, beach days, etc.) are available upon request. Mahalo for thinking of me for the care of your pet! I work part time in the evenings and am a member of a canoe paddling team that practices three to four times per week, so my schedule is flexible with plenty of time for your pets! Being a dog-owner myself, maintaining routines and going the extra mile for play and exercise is important to me. I am currently self-training my rescue for psychiatric service, so I am very comfortable working with dogs from a variety of backgrounds with different levels of confidence and social comfort. I have also cared for cats and am comfortable with their often varying levels of social needs, as well as their basic care. I will never use negative reinforcement with your animal, ensuring a gentle, fun, and trustworthy experience for your pet. Additional services and home care (plant care, delivery reception, maintenance/vendor monitoring, etc.) are available, as well.

About: Hi my name is Jill! I have 4 years of dog training experience, though I do not offer dog training on Rover currently. I have my own dog, and have had and taken care of dogs my whole life. I am very well educated on dog behavior and health. I know how to tell signs of heat exhaustion and how to prevent it. I can remain calm, take action and think responsibly in a time of high stress. I know how to safely and correctly break up a dog fight, and how to prevent and de-escalate the situation. I am an equestrian, and can handle big animals, including big dogs. I have taken care of small animals, exotic animals, and very big animals. I have taken care of and trained different breeds, sizes, and ages of dogs including puppies, senior dogs, aggressive, reactive, confident, and timid dogs. I treat every dog as if they were my own and my priority is their safety over anything, and of course they’re happiness and comfortability. I know how to correctly use and introduce training tools, like prong collars, muzzles, slip lead, martingale, fur saver, choke chain, and more. I know when and when not to give water to prevent bloat. I also have grooming experience. I know how to safely introduce two dogs to each other. I’m very good at reading dog body language and keeping all animals safe and happy. Reading a dog’s body language and acting accordingly is very important to me, most dog lovers or walkers love dogs but wouldn’t truly know that a dog may be uncomfortable or overlook subtle negative signs. I am very grateful for the experience and knowledge I have worked hard to achieve to be able to do more than just love dogs but make a difference and advocate for them and keep them completely safe even from most overlooked dangers. I love dogs but more importantly I love being able to keep dogs happy and safe, and giving them the life they deserve. Your dog will be incredibly safe the entire time, and in responsible, educated, loving hands. I’m available for walking pets during the day until 5:30 pm. I’m able to do some weekends. I’m currently only doing Rover, so I have all the time for your pets! I won’t do drop in visits alone if someone is in the house for safety reasons, I will usually only do drop in visits for female owners because I am a young female. For walking dogs, I always check the ground too make sure it’s not too hot, I wait 30 minutes after a walk to give large amounts of water to prevent bloating, I know the area and what places are dog friendly if your dog needs shade and air conditioning. I carry pet corrector, which is a can of compressed air and completely harmless to scare off any aggressive/off leash dogs to prevent a fight. I don’t go to dog park unless asked because they can be an irresponsible and unsafe environment. I don’t do on leash greets to prevent fights. I carry poop bags, and water with the dogs. I don’t allow dogs to eat or drink anything that is not given to them to prevent illness. I’m very observant when on walk so I can keep myself and the dog safe.

About: I am experienced with senior dogs who need extra care. Diapers, medication or gentle care I am experienced with. I’ve grown up with both small and large dogs my entire life. Your baby will be in good hands with me! During the work week I leave around 7am and return by 5pm. Weekends and days off I’ll be around home all day to ensure they are my main priority. Going out on walks/potty breaks will be a minimum 3 times a day and up to 5 times a day depending on needs. I send lots of pictures and updates!

About: My favorite part of dogs is their personality. Personally, I love a pup with a little sass (it keeps me young and entertained). I love hiking, being outdoors and long walks on the beach. If those are some of your dog’s hobbies I think we’ll get along just fine! I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, so taking care of them has always felt apart of my routine. My family dog’s name is Lulu, she is a 17 year old Papillon and ia partially blind and deaf, so I’m very comfortable with senior dogs and giving them the extra patience, attention, and care they need because they need it the most❤️‍🩹 Along with having fun, I truly care about making sure your dog feels comfortable and at home while you’re away. Whether that means keeping up with their usual routine or giving them a fun little staycation, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well care for. I currently work from 8-4 remotely. My schedule during the day is extremely flexible and can work around meetings. I don’t work on the weekends and are fully available. I love walking and happy to go on long walks throughout the day. If there are special requirements for your pup I’m happy to accommodate as best as I can!

About: I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I grew up having multiple dogs and cats at a time. I have helped by grandma, neighbors and family friends with dog sitting, bathing, and walking since I was young. I love cats and their personality! I am unfazed by cleaning up after animals and am a professional litter box cleaner. I would consider my professional experience to be close to 7 years (definitely longer but I have been reimbursed for my services for the past 7 years). I’m currently very flexible with my schedule, which allows me to easily work around your needs and your pet’s routine! About: I’ve always loved animals. Growing up I’ve taken care of multiple of my neighbors dogs and cats, starting at eight years old. I’ve also grown up with a dog of my own. Pet care is the number one thing on my schedule! Followed by working out and surfing I love to spend my time with, and care for animals. About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was really young from my mom asking me to feed our dog and trim our dog and feed him to my friends and neighbors asking me to watch their dogs and check on them. I have officially walked a couple dogs on this app and I can fully say that every dog that I have cared for has always left with a smile on its face. I have five cats one fully grown and four kittens of my own. I clean up once a day for them to stay clean and I feed them twice a day and give them affection any chance I get. I use to have a dog before I moved to Hawaii and I would give him baths whenever he got dirty and I would feed him and mix food for him once a day. Now my dog lives with my mom in the mainland and he is still as healthy as can be. I make sure to pick up after the pet if they had made a mess. I make sure they have the attention needed. I feed and water the pet on the preferred times and I also bathe them if needed. If they need to be given medicine I will ask how you would prefer me to give them the said medicine. I will make sure that everything is in order when leaving the house and/or dropping off the animal.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life, and I’ve cared for pets ranging from energetic puppies to seniors who need a slower pace. I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely enjoy bonding with every animal I meet. Pet parents trust me to treat their fur babies like family. I make sure each pet gets plenty of attention, playtime, and routine throughout the day. I live in an apartment, but there’s a great dog park within walking distance where your pup can get plenty of playtime and fresh air. Inside, I provide a calm, safe space and can crate your dog if preferred. I always supervise carefully and keep your pet’s comfort a top priority.

About: My pups are my heart and my life! 💖 They are the center of my world, and like many of us pet parents, I take care of my sweet babies better than I care for myself. My husband and I have had our little Marshmallow for 12 wonderful years and counting! For six amazing years, we also had our sweet CocoBear, whom we adopted as a senior with multiple health issues requiring special care. She has since crossed the rainbow bridge, but she is still loved, missed, and cherished by us every single day. Now that it’s just Marshmallow, she’d love some company! She’s super friendly and gets along very well with other doggies! 😊 Although I may be new to Rover, I’m definitely not new to caring for pets! I've been dog-sitting for over 12 years, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. In addition to dogs, I’ve had hamsters, rabbits, and birds throughout my life, and I’m also a very proud cat auntie! 🥰 I have very high standards when it comes to caring for my own babies, and I treat any pup in my care as if they were my own. About: Hi, my name is Matt and I’ve owned pets most of my life (lots of dogs & cats over the years). I have experience with senior dogs from using a custom made “wheelchair” to putting on doggy diapers and administering medication. I’ve worked at an animal shelter in the past where I was part of a team that brought in rescue dogs and cats as well as young puppies and kittens. We helped them stay healthy and get adopted to new homes, which was very rewarding. I’m currently focusing on pet care as my main source of income, so my availability is pretty wide-open at this point. I’m open to pet sitting as well as walking and I truly love to just spend time with them and give them TLC 🙂 I treat my client’s homes the same as my own, which is with respect and cleanliness. I strive to make it a seamless experience for you and your pets in terms of minimal disruption and maximum love and care 🙂
