About: I’ve grown up with cats since I was 4 years old and was responsible for all of their needs - feeding, brushing, nail clipping, litter cleaning, and of course playing and cuddling. I cared for them through their old age providing medication, physical therapy exercises, and inserting IV drips. I’ve also been my friends’ dog sitter (funcle) over the past 6 years, giving them all the walks, pets, attention, and playtime they need while their parents are away. I currently work full-time from home and can give all the attention to your pets’ throughout the work hours of the weekdays! I like to be active after work and weekends, and can take your pups out for runs or hikes, or we could lounge and chill if that’s what they need. I live in a quiet, walkable neighborhood that’s pet friendly. We have no pets at home right now so I’ll be around to give full attention to your pet!

Then, during Lovely’s day with Maple, Maple sent lots of updates, with pictures and videos. Lovely is shy around new people, but Maple was patient with her and let her take the lead on what she was comfortable with. For example, Lovely was shy to go in the house at first, so Maple set her up on a long-line on the deck and kept the door open so Lovely could go inside whenever she was ready. About: I have personally raised and trained both of our family dogs. Friends and family frequently rely on me for pet sitting, training, and even advice! About: I’ve been taking care of dogs of every breed and size my whole life. My household growing up has always had at least 1 extra fluffy family member making our lives better. I have always had a way with dogs, and have been one to call on to take care for the likes of family, friends, and strangers alike. I work 12 hour days on the weekend and love to fill the rest of my time with taking care of your extra loved one. I spend most of my time in nature, working out (outdoors and indoors), surfing, martial arts, and studying / learning new things everyday. Care has to do with reading what the dog is trying to communicate. About: I’ve had pets my entire life from cats and dogs to crabs and fish. I love animals and caring for them like they are my own children that i birthed. I am a senior college student with lots of downtime throughout my schedule during the week that needs to be filled with animal love and care I have a fenced backyard in a nice neighborhood. Lots of animal accessories , including beds, toys, crates, and bathing supplies. No other animals at the moment are staying at my house.
About: My pups are my heart and my life! 💖 They are the center of my world, and like many of us pet parents, I take care of my sweet babies better than I care for myself. My husband and I have had our little Marshmallow for 12 wonderful years and counting! For six amazing years, we also had our sweet CocoBear, whom we adopted as a senior with multiple health issues requiring special care. She has since crossed the rainbow bridge, but she is still loved, missed, and cherished by us every single day. Now that it’s just Marshmallow, she’d love some company! She’s super friendly and gets along very well with other doggies! 😊 Although I may be new to Rover, I’m definitely not new to caring for pets! I've been dog-sitting for over 12 years, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. In addition to dogs, I’ve had hamsters, rabbits, and birds throughout my life, and I’m also a very proud cat auntie! 🥰 I have very high standards when it comes to caring for my own babies, and I treat any pup in my care as if they were my own. About: Hi my name is Jill! I have 4 years of dog training experience, though I do not offer dog training on Rover currently. I have my own dog, and have had and taken care of dogs my whole life. I am very well educated on dog behavior and health. I know how to tell signs of heat exhaustion and how to prevent it. I can remain calm, take action and think responsibly in a time of high stress. I know how to safely and correctly break up a dog fight, and how to prevent and de-escalate the situation. I am an equestrian, and can handle big animals, including big dogs. I have taken care of small animals, exotic animals, and very big animals. I have taken care of and trained different breeds, sizes, and ages of dogs including puppies, senior dogs, aggressive, reactive, confident, and timid dogs. I treat every dog as if they were my own and my priority is their safety over anything, and of course they’re happiness and comfortability. I know how to correctly use and introduce training tools, like prong collars, muzzles, slip lead, martingale, fur saver, choke chain, and more. I know when and when not to give water to prevent bloat. I also have grooming experience. I know how to safely introduce two dogs to each other. I’m very good at reading dog body language and keeping all animals safe and happy. Reading a dog’s body language and acting accordingly is very important to me, most dog lovers or walkers love dogs but wouldn’t truly know that a dog may be uncomfortable or overlook subtle negative signs. I am very grateful for the experience and knowledge I have worked hard to achieve to be able to do more than just love dogs but make a difference and advocate for them and keep them completely safe even from most overlooked dangers. I love dogs but more importantly I love being able to keep dogs happy and safe, and giving them the life they deserve. Your dog will be incredibly safe the entire time, and in responsible, educated, loving hands. I’m available for walking pets during the day until 5:30 pm. I’m able to do some weekends. I’m currently only doing Rover, so I have all the time for your pets! I won’t do drop in visits alone if someone is in the house for safety reasons, I will usually only do drop in visits for female owners because I am a young female. For walking dogs, I always check the ground too make sure it’s not too hot, I wait 30 minutes after a walk to give large amounts of water to prevent bloating, I know the area and what places are dog friendly if your dog needs shade and air conditioning. I carry pet corrector, which is a can of compressed air and completely harmless to scare off any aggressive/off leash dogs to prevent a fight. I don’t go to dog park unless asked because they can be an irresponsible and unsafe environment. I don’t do on leash greets to prevent fights. I carry poop bags, and water with the dogs. I don’t allow dogs to eat or drink anything that is not given to them to prevent illness. I’m very observant when on walk so I can keep myself and the dog safe.
About: I have owned dogs my entire life, and I have extensive experience in dog-walking and sitting, cat care, and home care, ever since I was a teenager. I love animals and am even a wildlife photographer. I have personal experience service training dogs for psychiatric service, as well. I am able to ensure not only premium, safe, and reliable love and care for your animals, but also your plants and the general welfare of your home while you’re away. If your animal has special needs or training curriculums, I am able to meet them, so your time away doesn’t become time off from necessary routines or specialized care. About: I’ve always loved animals. Growing up I’ve taken care of multiple of my neighbors dogs and cats, starting at eight years old. I’ve also grown up with a dog of my own. About: From sneaking in strays as a kid and providing food, shelter, and love for them like they were my own to working alongside military working dogs during my time in service, showing our furry four legged friends that they matter has always been important to me. I am currently available M-F 7 AM-7PM for scheduled walks, house sitting, and even a chauffeur for things such as grooming appointments that just don’t work with your busy schedule. About: I’ve grown up with cats since I was 4 years old and was responsible for all of their needs - feeding, brushing, nail clipping, litter cleaning, and of course playing and cuddling. I cared for them through their old age providing medication, physical therapy exercises, and inserting IV drips. I’ve also been my friends’ dog sitter (funcle) over the past 6 years, giving them all the walks, pets, attention, and playtime they need while their parents are away. I currently work full-time from home and can give all the attention to your pets’ throughout the work hours of the weekdays! I like to be active after work and weekends, and can take your pups out for runs or hikes, or we could lounge and chill if that’s what they need. I live in a quiet, walkable neighborhood that’s pet friendly. We have no pets at home right now so I’ll be around to give full attention to your pet!

About: I have always had a love for animals! I work with animals daily. I have owned 2 of my own dogs now and I grew up with a family dog. I currently work Monday-Thursday. I am available to walk your pets or do drop ins before and after work. Friday-Sunday I have all availability anytime to walk or do drop ins. I will make sure your pets get the attention and exercise needed for them to be happy! I have a fenced in yard and a friendly dog and cat, who will enjoy keeping your pet company.
