About: I've had a dog ever since I was about 6 years old. I'm just turned 25 so that's just about 20 years of experience! I've started pet sitting and housesitting when I was 15 years old. I have taken care of all kinds of breeds from goldens, to herding dogs, and (my personal faves) bully breeds. I can work with all types of temperaments and energy levels :) I am currently serving active duty in the Marine Corps, so my days can look quite different, which is why I prefer weekends. During the week days I have PT starting at 5:30AM and don’t get off of work until 4:30. However I do have a 2 hour window during lunch from 11-1, but that is not always guaranteed. On the weekends I am completely open! I go to church on Sundays but other than that I am available. For overnights I prefer to come to the house at least a day in advance in order to see where everything is and what set up the pet(s) have. During the stay I try my best to send updates with pictures to ensure the pet owner is kept in the loop on a daily basis!

“Kaitlyn was absolutely amazing with my anxious dog Penny. She knew how to approach her and talk to her without any trouble. Penny usually barks at new people but she didn’t bark once at Kaitlyn which is when I knew that Kaitlyn was perfect for Penny. She was able to get close and feel at ease. She did an amazing job at watching Penny and kept me updated with texts and pictures throughout the day which was amazing and reassured me that my dog was given love and care the whole time. My previous Rover sitter had not contacted me in a couple days and Kaitlyn was able to squeeze me in at the last minute! I am so grateful for that. I will definitely be seeking out Kaitlyn again for any future days that I am away from Penny as she is very trustworthy and amazing with fur babies. I’ll know she’ll be well taken care. I’ll definitely be recommending Kaitlyn to everyone that I know that will need a sitter.”
