A typical day
Mornings usually start with walks, fresh air, and breakfast. During the day, while I’m working remotely, pets can hang out nearby for company, naps, or play breaks. In the afternoon, we’ll get outside again for another walk, some fetch, or even a beach trip if that’s something your pup enjoys. I love keeping pets active and engaged, but always match their energy and comfort level. For cats, I make time for play sessions with toys, laser pointers, and plenty of gentle attention. Evenings are for winding down, cuddles on the couch, dinner, and relaxation before bedtime. Every day includes a mix of care, play, and companionship.

Alyssa was a last-minute overnight, in-our-home pet sitter, and she was excellent! Our usual non-Rover helper was sick and we scrambled! She was so prompt that we were able to communicate almost immediately, and she was very respectful. I felt heard while voicing my concerns, and respected when my young child woke up and I had to interrupt our conversation. She is promptly communicative, she left the home in better shape than she found it, and most importantly, she took perfect care for our two little baby dogs, with receipts :)! I will definitely reach out for any future trips, as she’s professional and trust-worthy for your fur babies!
Alyssa cared for our pups for three nights while we were out of town. Prior to our trip, she came by to meet us and the dogs and they could not have loved her more! I was very surprised that they immediately felt comfortable with her, as they are usually apprehensive around new people. During her stay, she kept us updated and made us feel at ease. When we returned, our home was left very clean and tidy. Alyssa was even kind enough to bring in our mail/packages and she also did the laundry! I would highly recommend Alyssa and would welcome the opportunity to have her care for our pups again in the future!
I cannot recommend Alyssa enough! She watched my dog Riley for a full week and went above and beyond. She took Riley on tons of walks, played with her endlessly (which is saying a lot because Riley is very energetic!), and even started teaching her new tricks. I came home to a happy, well-cared-for pup who was absolutely exhausted in the best way possible haha. I felt completely at ease knowing Riley was in such great hands. I already booked with her again!
I can’t say enough good things about Alyssa! Spark and Ember our two cats and Kyla and Moxie our 2 high energy labs loved having her stay with them when were away for a week. She has taken care of them multiple additional times and she was absolutely amazing. They are so excited when some comes over to stay with them. From the start, she was responsive, friendly, and made us feel completely at ease leaving our them in her care. She sent daily updates and photos, which we really appreciated. She took them out to lay in our yard and snuggled our kitties and everyone was relaxed and happy. Alyssa even went above and beyond by watering our plants, vacuuming, and bringing in the mail without us asking! The house and the animals were clean and well cared for. It was such a relief to know they were in good hands. I would absolutely recommend Alyssa to anyone looking for a reliable, loving, and responsible pet sitter. We’ll definitely be asking her to come stay with the kids again!
